Title: Great Recommendations
Review: Bought this for a friend who loves going for walks in the metro area, but I couldn't help but peruse the book before giving it to her. Lots of maps and specific info! One of the problems with trying to find places to walk in the twin cities area is trying to figure out where the trail actually goes. This book gave me a better idea of where I can go walking/hiking.

Title: So many terrific hikes within an easy drive of the Twin Cities!
Review: This is a terrific book! So many good hikes within an easy drive of the Twin Cities. Have found a few issues with trail length accuracy and maps, but to me the point is all the choices with exact driving/parking directions and being able to pick the perfect location and distance for your day.

Title: Wish it was better rounded for the area
Review: Quite a few of these are on the east side of the Twin Cities. I might have gone with a different book if I had known, my brother lives FAR west so it won't be as helpful.

Title: Inaccurate!
Review: So far the information in this book is outdated and inaccurate. States Bruce Vento Trail as 6.2 miles out and back while the website for trail states it is 7.97 miles one direction! That is a big difference. Other parks have closed or changed trails such as Cottage Grove Ravine Park. While this points out parks to visit, the information is inaccurate and not trustworthy.
