Title: At the ready
Review: First, with all the chemicals and not sure what else may be in the water I prefer filtering with a trusted system. We have one attached to the sink but it’s hard to read the date of when it was put in and also difficult to replace. I love the convenience of having the pitcher by the sink. I fill it twice to fill my water bottles for the day. I also use it for my coffee. We use a drip machine so I fill the hopper in the evening and set it for morning. The pitcher is easy to handle, not too heavy when full, the filter works well and the water has no funny taste. It also works quickly. I sometimes add a mix (like a lemonade packet) and it tastes like the flavor added, very pure. The amount I need at one time the pitcher is the perfect size. I am glad to make an investment in my peace of mind. We had it over a month now and I keep an eye on the light for a filter change. So far it’s been green. Water purity is no longer a concern.

Title: I love it!
Review: I don't know why I waited so long to purchase one of these. It works perfectly the water is so nice and clear. It also fits in my fridge which is small one. It seems to be quite durable and I'm really happy with how much better the water tastes and smells! Definitely worth the money!!

Title: Happy I bought the Britta
Review: So far so good. I bought the large pitcher and regular filter. My tap water is pretty good without filtering, but I could taste the chlorine. But now after filtering, its much better. It makes my daily coffee taste really good. Previously I was buying only spring water for my coffee so this is more affordable. I fill the picture whenever I need to use water for cooking also, though I still will keep using bottled spring water for drinking. If there's any time that I don't have the spring water I will definitely feel ok drinking the filtered water. Following all the directions, the pitcher is working as described. The container is thinner than expected, but I've had no problems with any breaks or cracks, etc. I don't store the water in the frige because i use it right after filtering. I'm also making tea with the filtered water. Tastes great also. I'm also happy that i won't have to lug as much water from the grocery store.

Review: Mime came in all in one piece as some had said theirs was broken or cracked. Mine also had an instruction booklet which some people said was missing from their box. Easy to use and water tastes good. Happy with the purchase !

Title: Love the Teal, But Not the New Height! The Reason it's not 5 Stars
Review: I still have the older 10 cup version, which still works and looks fine. The filter indicator went out, and after having it for 7 years I decided to get the more recent model.I was very disappointed that the new version is so much taller than the previous version, 1/2 inch taller. It was made narrower at the base, so the height was increased to be able to hold 10 cups. That made it too tall to fit on our refrigerator shelf.So, it took me about 8 times of rearranging the shelfs to be able to fit the pitcher in and still have the shelf space that we needed on the other shelfs to be able to use our refrigerator in a way that we liked. I almost gave up on being able to accomplish that, there is only so many brackets in locations for setting a shelf that a refrigerator has.We never had to relocate any shelfs to fit the old Brita in. I hope that we can live with the way our refrigerator is now. We really like this new 10 cup Brita, but if we have trouble finding the height space needed for our other items, I will quit using this and go back to using our previous version pitcher.It does work well. We have hard water which leaves a lot of limescale build up in our coffee maker. The Brita filtered water is the only way that we can last for 26 days before having to descale our Ninja Coffee Bar.With unfiltered water, or even purified water, we can only go for 4 to 7 days before needing to descale, and in time our Ninja coffee maker will not be able to be descaled and become permanently clogged.With the Brita water and using a Lemishine mixture to descale, we get a few years out of our Ninja Coffee Bar before needing to replace it. So yes, I love the Brita system.I still use the standard filters because I clean the Brita well every 2 months when changing the filter. There is no way for me to wait 6 months with the new filter to clean it. With our hard water there would be so much limescale build up around the top and spout that I would scratch it up really bad while scrubbing so hard with something abrasive while trying to get the limescale off.

Title: Love the lid design
Review: I have had a love/ hate relationship with Brita pitchers for many years. The pour spout cover would continually stick and send sprays of water all over the area. Hated it. Loved the water the pitcher produced. I also disliked the indicator light system. The new design of this pitcher fixed all the things I disliked. The pour spout is more open, the light control is under the lid and has a push button that you can feel and the light is clearly visible when the water has gone past the sensor and out the spout. The filter is easier to access and change, it is visible with this design, however. The water seems to pass thru faster than with previous design.My pets have become very picky about their water and prefer Brita water over tap water. The large size of this pitcher works well to keep me and my pets hydrated throughout the day.

Title: New pitcher finally
Review: finally had to purchase a new Brita pitcher. I broke the old one that I must have had for 20 years. Loved it—but things happen. I ordered the new one and I love it. Easy to use and it holds the right amount of water I need for daily needs. The black on the pitcher actually went really nice with the appliances in my home. The pitcher is very nice but I do have one slight issue that I have adjusted too. At the opening where the water is poured out there is no cover over it to keep things from possibly getting into the pitcher-so I created my own cover with a piece of foil that I just take off when I use the pitcher and then put it back on when not in use. Other than that issue——I love Brita pitchers and the ease of them to use!!

Review: Filters water very quickly and I think the reason it’s made so lightweight or thin as some have pointed out, is because the weight of the water will make these jugs heavy enough that they probably wanted to minimize the weight aspect for the user. I’ve had no cracking or suspicions of its sturdiness so far and I’ve had it a few months.
