Title: Go for the the USX mount, perfect!
Review: I have to say, this was one of the most well-thought-out products I've ever purchased. The item arrived well packaged in a sturdy box (inside another Amazon box) with everything well laid out inside. All of the fasteners were individually packaged so there's no fishing around for the right part. For the record, I used this to mount a 65" TV that weighs about 50 lbs. It is definitely sturdy and can hold much more.Additional tools you will need: Tape measure, stud-finder, drill w/drill and screwdriver bits, wrench & socket set (SAE).Mounting on the wall was a breeze. My advice to other buyers that you will need to locate the wall studs accurately and you will need drill the pilot holes as close to the center of the studs as possible - particularly if you're mounting a heavy TV. There's just no getting around that. Use the "stud-finder" to mark the edges of the studs, then use those marks to determine the mid-point. Make a couple of passes to be absolutely sure. Included in the package is a peal-and-stick cardboard template and two bubble levels. Don't bother with the one that you're supposed to stick on the template, just use the big plastic one. You're going to want to do some measuring here to make sure you place the mount exactly where you want it. I was lucky that the center of the TV was almost dead-center between two studs. You'll also want to measure the height of the mount by test-fitting the part that goes on the TV and doing a little figuring on how much to move the mount up or down so that the TV is where you want it.Once you've drilled the holes, screw the bracket to the wall and use a wrench to snug the screws tight. Don't over-tighten or you'll strip out the holes. Make sure you put the mount right side up (Yes, I made this mistake). Next, attach the brackets to the TV. The kit comes with an assortment of screws, washers and bushings to accommodate any TV. Each TV is different and you're just going to have to use common sense. Don't over-tighten these screws either, but the brackets need to be snug.Before hanging the TV on the wall mount, ensure that the side-to-side and front-to-back tilt adjustment screws are tight and relatively level. You can adjust them later to get them perfect, but you should have them close to where they need to be now and tightened down so the mount doesn't move when you're trying to hang the TV on it. Have someone help you lift the TV onto the wall mount. It just hangs on there (at first), but it's much easier if you have someone to help guide it into place. Attach the locking brackets to the bottom of the TV brackets and you're done!!!Operation of the mount is very smooth, though it takes just a little bit more effort than I'd like. I attribute that to the fact that it's brand new and I'm certain a few drops of oil strategically placed will resolve that. BY NO MEANS would I suggest getting a different mount based on that purely-subjective opinion. This mount is perfect for a big TV. It's a little pricier than most, but worth every penny.Read less

Title: Great value solution for saving space
Review: My family recently purchased a new family TV, but the old one still has some life in it but we had no room to place it anywhere else. We were used to putting a TVs on their own media center, but hadn't any more floor space to have another piece of furniture that big. I was hesitant about mounting something on the wall because I really hadn't done it with the exception of one painting. All others have been attached with adhesive mounts.I researched and found this and a $200 model. This one being around $50 was more appealing budget wise, but I had read that it would fit my needs. The TV I need it for is nearly 80 lbs and over 60 inches.I purchased this and sat on it for awhile, getting very familiar with the included instructions and checking against online DIY videos till I got comfortable enough to install it, which I gave myself plenty of time to do since again, it was my first time working with anything like this.The instructions and the parts are straightforward. All of the mounting hardware is included, but I did have to bring a few critical tools that are NOT included (to mount to wood studs through drywall): a drill and drill bit set, a reliable stud finder, and socket wrench. I took some time to ensure I found studs in the wall, marked them with a pencil as level as I could, drilled the holes, and mounted the USX Mount to the wall with a socket wrench to hand-tight. That reads fast, but unless you've done this, take your time with it.This is about a week now, and the TV sits beautifully on my bedroom wall seemingly solid. It looks nice up there and the mount is nicely tucked away and is minimal from view as I pass it from the side to go my closet. I do not plan to move the TV much, but it feels solid up there. I feel good about the process now because i was not wanting to drill anything into my walls. Now I'm considering putting up seperate shelves. =) Thanks for reading and I hope this helps.

Title: So far works perfectly
Review: The installation took a little time but of course it did- every precaution was taken to make sure this was mounted safely and everything checked out. The instructions were also very clear, demanding the reader to consider every factor with compatibility, placement, and installation.Second thing is I’ve had compatibility issues with my TV and other mounts, but this one sincerely looks like it could work for almost any TV you can put on a wall. Fits like a charm.Have had the TV on it for about a week and it’s great- I’ve come to enjoy this product immensely!! It’s easy to adjust the TV to whichever angle you’d like, and I’m confident in its strength.

Title: X-Mount is the best!
Review: This truly is the best versatile tv mount that we have ever purchased. It’s very sturdy, holds our 65” tv upright at any angle, it even comes with a nice re-usable level to ensure your tv is level. But the most important thing of all besides the fact that this tv mount is actually better than described is the customer service. We contacted the manufacturer because after purchasing this heavy tv mount, we realized that the studs in the walls are spaced 24” apart. There is an insert in the box that specifically instructs you to contact the manufacturer at their email address if you run into any issues with the product. Within hours, they responded to our email. As stated on the insert, if your studs are further than 16” to contact them & they will send out extension plates to properly fit 16”+ studs. Within days the extension plates arrived. We were able to mount the tv within 10 minutes.You receive the mount & great instructions along with a template to coordinate with your VESA pattern.This is an excellent mount for the money with clear instructions if you have any issues. Customer support is phenomenal! We will definitely buy from X-Mount again for our other tv’s. We can guarantee that you will be very happy with your purchase.
