Title: So pretty; only for small birds though
Review: So, first off, it’s such a pretty design, and easy to fill, and sturdy. However, the product picture is photoshopped and misleading. The birds in that picture would have to be 2 inches long! For real birds, the railing to stand on is much too small. I have seen cardinals use mine, but a blue jay just tried and— bless his heart— he kept trying over and over but he was just too heavy! He finally got a bite by hanging on the bar like doing a chinup and stretching his neck forward, but after that he gave up to pursue easier food. If you are looking to feed finches this would be great!On the upside, no crows are going to bully all the other birds at the feeder. And no squirrels have gotten to mine (and I have a ton of squirrels…)Update: OK, I’m updating to 4.5 stars (rounded to 5) — cardinals are visiting regularly, and cute little finches love it. When leaving seed out on surfaces, the finches never seemed to feel safe enough to come eat. I hung this feeder high up, from the branch of a tree. Little birds seem to feel very safe eating from it.Picture of a cardinal so you can get idea about size.Third update: going up to 5+ stars! The cardinals and finches absolutely love it, AND the bluejays have figured out how to use it! (Video attached.). The squirrels have also figured out how to get the seeds— by hanging from their back feet from the overhead branch and stretching down to grab some seeds. It’s all extremely amusing! Highly recommended, now that the wildlife has learned the ropes.

Title: Easy to fill!
Review: Very happy with my new feeder, but I don't think the birds are lol. I used to have cardinal couples on a daily basis feeding on my old one, but over time it started to clog every time it rained, so I got this one. But since I put it up, I haven't had any visitors. I looked it up and they say it takes 3-4 weeks for birds to acclimate to a new feeder, so I guess I'll just have to be patient. It is easy to fill, a good size and has a deep enough "ledge" that the birds can stand on that my other didn't have. I did notice some clogging, but that was only after quite a bit of rain over a few days. I checked it after a normal amount of rain, and it was dry.

Title: Excellent product
Review: I'm pleased with it. Very well designed and high quality construction. The conical fluted roof is hinged on one side of the top rim of the clear cylinder containing the food. And there's a well designed ring around the bottom for the birds to stand on.Downside, 10-15 feet away I've got dishes sitting on top of a fence where dozens of birds flock to after about 7am. And the bird feeder seems to be their last choice. Unfortunately, it's not an attraction for most birds. Maybe because it's not as easy to eat from as an open 8" diam dish on the fence.

Title: Works But Not Durable
Review: It's easy to fill and easy for the birds to eat from it. But after 3 weeks (photos 1 and 2) the perches have been chewed down. Never seen a squirrel on the feeder, it hangs 10' from the trees.Update: By week 4 (3rd photo) the entire outer perch ring was gone, with only the seed bowl edge remaining. Note that there is no damage to the clear seed chamber. If it were squirrels doing the damage I'd expect the clear part or the cover to be eaten away, since that's the path to the seeds. I think bird claws and beaks are destroying the soft perches. At least the smallest birds can use it.Seller very quickly sent a replacement feeder. Same design, so I expect the same performance.

Review: The birds love it, squirrel. Can't get up there. But the black birds empty it but dropped some of the seed onto the grass. Squirrels were pigging out, chipmunks. And other small birds. The seed lasted for just over one hour.
