Title: Best sleep ever!
Review: I've always had trouble sleeping, and I know a lot of it is my pillow. I've gone through so many different pillows, spent hundreds of dollars over the years, and just accepted my fate. But then I found this one. Most money I've ever spent on a freaking pillow, but worth every penny! It's like a hug for my head, and I immediately relax once I'm laying down. Incredible, and I highly recommend!

Title: Stopped cooling after 2 yrs
Review: I did love the pillow. Loved the dual sided cooling gel. It worked for me. It actually was more cold than cool which is great for a 55yo woman going thru menopause lol. Loved the comfort, whether it was on my back or side. My family hated it; said it was way too firm. It was great for me tho. After 22mo tho, it didn’t cool anymore. I had to keep flipping it over but no cool sensation from the gel like before. It has a 5yr warranty but I don’t even know if that’s covered because I didn’t look into it. I did order another pillow, same one. If it happens again within 5yrs, I’ll contact Tempurpedic and take it from there. Oh, there was no chemical smell at all; hope the second is same. The cover that comes with it does take some arm strength to get it back on after it’s been washed, but not a big deal. It held up to ALOT of washings over 2yrs and finally started to tear a bit. I tried a regular cotton pillow case but for me, it seemed to lessen the cooling effect. I would def recommend the pillow overall. It was a great $125 investment in the past 2yrs. Def feel like I got my monies worth.

Title: Very comfortable
Review: I have had a lot of trouble finding the right pillow. I have arthritis in my neck, and any pillow that doesn’t hold my head at precisely the right angle causes me to wake up in the morning in pain. To complicate matters, I sometimes sleep on my side, and sometimes sleep on my stomach, and I change positions frequently throughout the night. Also, I sleep hot, so I really wanted a cooling pillow, to prevent the need for frequent pillow flipping all night long. I’ve only had this pillow for less than two weeks, but so far it seems to be checking all the boxes. I especially like that it is cooling on both sides, not just one. One caveat: When I took this pillow out of its box, it had a very strong chemical smell, and I had to let it off-gas in another room for three days before I could even use it. At this point, a very slight smell remains, but not enough to be problematic. So far so good.

Title: Good solid pillow in the Tempur-Pedic tradition!
Review: This pillow has worked out very well for me. I am sleeping better than I have been for a long time! At first, I wasn't sure about it. It's heavy, square edges, and not contoured like my other Temper-pedic pillows. It's not the kind of pillow to toss and turn with. It stays put. I use it as a base and put my contoured Temper-pedic pillow on top of it. I need the elevation due to sleep apnea, so it works out perfectly. I have the side-sleeper contour with the pillow on top and the sturdy elevation with this pillow.As some others have mentioned, this pillow might not be supportive enough if it was the only pillow I used, but it's working out perfectly for what I need, combined with another pillow. I've been using Tempur-pedic pillows since I first learned about them in 1998 and have never been disappointed!

Title: This pillow is all over the place..
Review: So the first thing I researched when choosing this pillow was "what's the difference between Tempur material and memory foam?" Answer: nothing, it's a marketing term for Tempur-Pedic's memory foam. Sure not all memory foam is created equal - that's fine. There are different formulas, qualities, and densities.This pillow is what I would call a medium firm to firm, compared to other memory foams.. yet is somehow rather squishy - I think I know why - and I'll explain further. The thing with memory foam though is it's very ... tempur.. mental... hah! No, seriously. It's very temperature dependent in terms of hot = squish and cold = rock solid. And because memory foams retain heat like no ones business, Tempur-Pedic implemented these giant sheets of gel material over top of their non-ventilated foam (vs where you see ventilated foams that have holes through them to allow them to breathe) on each side of the pillow, to account for heat retention issues.There are a few problems with this approach though.The first, gel will eventually retain heat too - so while you get about 30min-1hr of cool before it starts warming up, it will eventually be warm - and I've woken up in the middle of the night because of that. Which - ok fine, flip the pillow - but the pillow weighs over TEN POUNDS for the king. She chonk.Second, when it's warmer out or in your room, the Tempur material compresses down so basically both gel pads are nearly touching.Third, if you do a test and press your hand into just a block of memory foam or Tempur material, you'll see indents around your fingers as it cradles pressure on anything that pushes back - where as this gel - because it's in sheets - cradles an area of pressure - such as the back of your head, leaving your neck somewhat less supported than I feel it should because it's distributing weight over an area as opposed to directly to a pressure point and being buoyant in less supportive spots. This one is hard to describe but trust me. It's oddly noticeable.And lastly (and this one just happened to me last night and ultimately was the straw that broke the camels back) the gel material is also respondent to temperature, so my room was overly cold as it gets colder out at night - so I literally woke up shivering at one point, pulled my comforter up over my head and slept on it so I had another layer between my head and this pillow's freezing cold gel top, just so I could fall asleep again.So as I said - this pillow is all over the place. It's hard, it's soft, it's hot, it's cold, it's somewhat supportive - but not enough in areas. I will say I did not wake up with a sore neck - but this thing is just not the comfort king you'd expect from such an expensive brand name. And that's why unfortunately, I cannot recommend this.

Review: It's huge, it's cool, it's supportive.I love the fact the cooling area is huge, if you got hot in one area just switch place and it's cool again, not it's get hot quickly.It's soft at first when you lay on it, as it's compressed, it's getting supportive to where it need support. Also a big plus that is mentioned nowhere, the pillow is super heavy, wherever you decide to put it it will stay there unless you want to move it, never fall off the pillow again.It's pricy, but did I mention it got 5 years warranty?
