Title: Beautiful but didn't excite me
Review: It's a beautiful book but at the end of the day I didn't plan out a bunch of recipes to try immediately. I think a lot of cookbook authors are told or feel they need to make up brand spanking new recipes so go figure out something no one else has done. Which I get because otherwise why buy a new one right? Unfortunately, some recipes get written without regard to whether people would even want to try them and only because they're "new".
