Title: Almost perfect
Review: It’s a great bargain for a pair of full titanium pliers and personally I think it looks better than the van staal. FYI the 6.5” doesn’t have the cutout handles - pictured is the 7.5” version. In any case, fit and finish is excellent with perfect alignment and no play between the two halves. I like the tip of the pliers as it’s thin enough to grab smaller hooks or hooks deeply imbedded, but not too thin to lose strength/grip. However, the handles are a bit slim and I wish they had rounded it off a bit more for better ergonomics. Also, the lanyard doesn’t have a swivel and is prone to twisting after use. I’ve added a swiveled carabiner which took care of that, and also tied some cord and shrink tube to secure the lanyard to the handle to keep it in place. Otherwise it seems like a solid pair of pliers and it does come with lifetime warranty. If kept on your belt, these shouldn’t get lost/left behind or get too badly scratched up. Buy once cry once.

Title: Great pliers for the money.
Review: The pliers cutter and weight are fantastic. The titanium is light and seems like it will hold up against the saltwater. The sheath will likely not ladt more than a year in salt water use. Bid love to see a KYDEX shesthth molded to fit these pliers. I has to buy my own but I know company that will be making them soon. Still a great buy.
