Review: If you are a long time Norelco use you will like this shaver. I have been using an electric shaver for over 50 years. Over the years I have tried other brands, but I always go back to Norelco. Buy the best model you can afford and you will be happy.

Title: Does not come with the power adaptor
Review: only used this for a few days now and it does a good job. However, it does state on amazon that it comes with the power adaptor, but it does not. Only has a cord that attaches to the razor and a USB port. You have to use your own power adaptor. Also, the instructions that come with it says you can connect it via Bluetooth to their groom tribe app to help get a better shave with feedback, but I have not been able to get that to work. It looks like they put the instructions for the more advanced razor in the box. i have not noticed it changing speeds like it is monitoring like it says so not sure how good that is working. It is a good razor and does a good job but the options that it says it can do are not there. Not worth the price paid but would be if it was about half the price then it would be a good deal.

Title: Better as a wet shaver vs dry.
Review: I prefer to shave in the shower, I first tried a rotary over 15 years ago, wet it didnât do a great job, and dry, it was only good if you didnât skip a day. I eventually got a Braun series 7, which was good dry, but not so much wet. I use that for several years before getting a great deal on a Panasonic Arc 4. It was another one not great wet, but good dry. The only problem was after 8 months the blades were dull, Iâm used to a year or more before replacing. The replacement blades were more than I paid for the razor, due to great Amazon sale, but I got a Braun series 9 on sale at Bed Bath and beyond with a offer and coupon, it was basically around 40% off retail, I believe it was $150. This was another one thatâs not great wet, but great dry. Now the new one, the Norelco 9400, this one is great wet. I couldnât believe how comfortable it is even dry. Even if I skip a day I can get rid of majority of the hair in under 30 seconds, then 3-5 minutes for that almost razor like closeness. I actually finish with a Hanson single blade razor for that extra closeness if I skip a day, and for the nose area.I would highly recommend this shaver.

Review: The Phillips Norelco 9400 arrived packaged very well and upon opening I noticed the shaver itself feels balanced and ergonomic.I charged the razor completely prior to use. It is pretty quiet when turned on. The flexible tri-rotor assembly adapted to my face better than previous rotary and especially better than the foil shavers I used in the past.The shave itself was quite satisfactory for an electric razor although it took a little practice to learn how to get the best results under my nose due to the larger rotary pads, but once I figured it out I no longer even think about it and the shaving pattern using circular type motions worked well for getting those âwildâ hairs that I had to go over repeatedly with foil razors.The 9400 uses same high end blades as rest of the 9000 series and is the least expensive of the series as well. Other models in the series offer cleaning tanks or other upgrades but I find it easier to just wash the blades under water after use. I did order the charging stand as I find it a good place to keep the razor neatly between uses.I had been using manual blade razor for past few years after tiring of the top line Braun (didnât adapt to face well and had to go over places a few times to get wild hair) and the Panasonic Arc5 (better than Braun). Having used Norelco rotary in the past I decided to get the 9400 due to having the better blades and the general reviews on the 9000 series that appealed to my needs. Great purchase and recommend this especially for those disappointed in foil razors in the past. This Norelco 9400 rotary will no doubt please most people who try it!
