Throw Throw Burrito is what you get when you cross a card game with burrito-shaped dodgeballs. Try to collect matching sets of cards faster than your opponents, while simultaneously ducking, dodging, and throwing squishy ariborne burritos. The cards you collect earn points, but getting hit by flying burritos loses them. So clear some space and put away the antiques, because you've never played a card game quite like this before. It's one of the most fun gifts you can give and it's perfect for fans of the Exploding Kittens card game series. How it works: Place a pair of burritos on a table and draw cards. Keep your cards secret. Rack up points by finding sets of three in the deck. Find matches before anyone else does. If someone plays burriot cards, a battle ensues. Steal points from your opponents by hitting them with squishy toy burritos. Declare war on your friends. Some battles only involve a handful of players. Others force the entire table to engage in a Burrito War. Duel to determin the winner! Perfect for card or board games for families, teens and kids, Throw Throw Burrito is sure to be a hit at any game night. Card games have never been this exciting!
THE ULTIMATE COMBINATION: What do you get when you combine a card matching game, dodgeball, and some toy burritos? A game night you’ll be telling your grandkids about! Meet Throw Throw Burrito - the world’s first dodgeball card game from the peeps that changed your life with Exploding Kittens. It’s a party game unlike any you’ve played before. Collect cards, earn points, throw burritos, rub your game night success in everyone’s face - the card game for kids and adults you’ve been looking for.
A RECIPE FOR GLEE: A game where your quick-thinking skills are tested and you stand a chance of fulfilling your lifelong dream - whooping your great aunt with a burrito. The aim of this card game for families and friends is to end up with the most points at the end. Matching 3 cards of a kind gets you points. Getting whacked with a burrito loses you points. So, dodge that adorable squishie! Every set comes complete with 120 cards, 2 burrito throw toys, and 7 tokens (6 Burrito Bruises and 1 Fear Me Badge). It's one of those fun games that works for adults and kids alike.
BURRITO WAAARRR!: Get those antiques out of the way and prepare yourself for the ultimate party game with a dodgeball, but burrito style. You’ll stumble upon 3 types of cards that can trigger a battle. Match 3 of them to really get the party started. There’s Burrito Brawl that forces the player on your left and right to go at it. Burrito War that pits everyone against each other apart from the player that matches the cards. And our favorite: Burrito Duel! Players stand with their backs against each other, take 3 paces, and throw.
ELEVATE THE EXCITEMENT: You’ve just found your new go-to whenever game night rolls around. But it can get even better. Add Block Block Burrito as an expansion to this dodgeball card game and take the fun to a whole new level. Block Block Burrito introduces a pair of inflatable tortillas that you can use as shields. It also spices things up with new cards and rules for tantalizing twists. Cards like Split Up Duel and Super Block War will leave the party people begging for more.
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY: We made history. Exploding Kittens started out as an idea launched on Kickstarter. We aimed to raise $10K. We ended up with $8.7M in 30 days from 219,000 backers. Close to a decade later, Exploding Kittens is still the #1 most-backed project in Kickstarter history. We’ve since launched the likes of Poetry for Neanderthals, Really Loud Librarians, and more game-night boosting goodness you’ll want to play on repeat. Collect them all and brace yourself for epic fun!

Title: Super fun - great original gift
Review: Got this Throw Avocado game for my 10-year-old nephew and he's obsessed! It's basically dodgeball with cards, super easy to learn, and a total blast to play. If you're looking for a fun, active game for kids (and adults!), definitely check this one out.

Title: My kids adore this game
Review: The game is fun, it is fast-paced, and it was a really good therapy tool for my kid with selective mutism as it encourages verbal interaction in a fun setting. Younger kids can play alongside older kids and adults. Great game!

Title: A Guacamole of Laughter and Bruised Egos
Review: This game is like if dodgeball and a card game had a baby, then decided to feed that baby a steady diet of caffeine and chaos. The premise is simple: collect matching sets of cards faster than your opponents while simultaneously ducking, dodging, and throwing squishy airborne avocados. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. This game is a minefield of flying fruit and bruised egos. The first thing you'll notice is the quality of the avocados. They're squishy, they're cute, and they fly through the air with the greatest of ease. But don't let their adorable exterior fool you. These things are weapons of mass distraction. One minute you're focused on your cards, the next you're taking a squishy avocado to the face. It's like a food fight and a strategy game all rolled into one.The gameplay is fast and furious. You've got to have the reflexes of a cat and the strategic mind of a chess grandmaster. One wrong move and you're getting pelted with an avocado. But land a successful hit and you'll be the toast of the table. It's a game of high risk, high reward, and high hilarity. But be warned, this game is not for the faint of heart. It's a battlefield out there. I've seen friendships tested, family members turned rivals, and quiet evenings turned into all-out avocado wars. It's a game that demands your attention, your dedication, and occasionally, your dignity. In conclusion, "Throw Avocado" is a riotous romp of a game that's guaranteed to liven up any party. It's a game of skill, strategy, and the occasional airborne avocado. So if you're ready to embrace the chaos, grab a copy of "Throw Avocado". Just remember to duck.

Title: Food fight!!!!
Review: A game where you get to throw burritos at each other? Seemed too good to be true. This game is SO much fun. So easy to learn. The premise is simple enough. Everyone plays at the same time, nobody is sitting getting bored while others take their turns. Multiple piles of cards are spread around the table then everyone starts drawing from their pile and discarding to the next until a total of 3 matching cards is achieved. If the 3 cards are any variety of extremely adorable critters then the player places those cards in front of them and keeps drawing tying to achieve another match. If the matching cards are a variety of burrito cards then chaos ensues as two players engage in a burrito throwing contest. Who can take out their opponent first? The burritos are very soft and donât hurt even if you get beaned by a particularly hard throw. The bigger area you have to play in the better, but we played in our relatively small kitchen/dining area and still had a blast.

Title: Husband Said We Are Not Allowed to Play This Anymore
Review: We're hosting an extended family game night next week and I wanted something new & different to play that everyone would enjoy. Our family loves rummy, PIT! and other card games so I figured I'd give 'Throw Throw Burrito' a try, even though we've never played or purchased 'Exploding Kittens' or any other of their games. And also even though someone in my family tends to injure themselves every single time we all get together.Yesterday when this arrived, my husband and I sat down to learn how to play so that we can teach everyone else on game night. It is easy to learn and appropriate for all ages. It was great fun playing this, even with just two people, and it'd be a lot more fun with a bigger group. So I matched the 'Burrito War' cards which means everyone grabs for a burrito and throw it at another player. I whipped a burrito at my husband's chest except it accidentally hit him in the face because 1) I have terrible (or great?) aim and 2) we were sitting at very close range to each other.Consequently, he informed me that 'we' are not allowed to play this game anymore. When he said 'we' I knew he meant me. I am not allowed to play because I cannot be trusted to not hit him in the face with a squishy burrito. He hid the box but I know where and I am totally breaking this out on family game night!

Review: Ok first of all kudos to Exploding Kittens for inventing this unique game. I just randomly came across it on Amazon and I was hooked on buying because it looked hilarious. This is excellent to play during camping trips or at home in your backyard. It is so fun to play especially with a big group of friends and family. Caution: for the Extreme Edition make sure to have lots of room for duels, brawls and war! It is hilarious when people forget what youâre supposed to do when someone puts down sets of duel/war/brawl cards, because to the person(s) that do know they can grab one of the huge burritos and throw it at clueless people when theyâre vulnerable ð The box and items are of great quality and very creative (I love the art and characters!): game coins (have not figured out how to use them yet and I didnât see it being included in instructions), 2 thick sets of oversized cards, 2 deflated burritos (which blown up will be oversized bouncy burritos) and manual. They have the normal version but IMO the Extreme Edition looks more fun. I would say recommended age will be 8 and up, or depends on the child, my daughter is the typeto sulk when losing or just overly sensitive she didnât like it that she got hit with a giant burrito ð But if you want fun times buy this!

Review: The kids (<10 y.o.) were visibly bored while reading the rules. After the first battle (maybe 5 min. in) the energy in the room exploded. The sound of every battle was punctuated with squeals of delight and followed by screams of triumph and giggle fits. No corner, hiding spot or player was safe. Really sweet and fun little game, but be sure to keep the stemware in the cupboard.
