Title: AUTHENTIC RECIPES
Review: MEXICO IN YOUR KITCHEN by Mely Martinez, is the second cookbook I own of hers and highly recommend. It includes recipes from Mexico, that are authentic, easy to follow and make. Each recipe begins with a paragraph about the dish. There are Notas (notes) with tidbit of information or suggestions.If you are just beginning your Mexican cooking journey, I highly recommend her cookbooks! You will love the section at the beginning “The Mexican Pantry”, it gives you a list of essential ingredients that are common in a Mexican home. Or you may be lucky like me and find a recipe for a dish that you ate and loved as a child! See the recipe in the pictures for my find! I have fond memories of visiting my grandma in Sinaloa and eating chilorio for breakfast!

Title: Best Mexican Cookbook
Review: Aside from this cookbook’s appealing cover and colorful pages, it also offers a variety of recipes that are typically cooked and served in most Mexican and Mexican-American household. The recipes are explicitly written, so even a beginner can prepare these meals. The list of ingredients and recipe steps are user friendly. And her additional notes and tips offer extra help. This cookbook, as well as her first one, is my favorite and most useful cookbook. ¡Aprovecho!

Title: Amazing Beautiful Book
Review: I absolutely love this book. I love the photos and the ease of the written recipes. All recipes are authentic and delicious. This is such a beautiful book and complements Mely’s first book. Title: The Most Authentic Mexican Recipes!
Review: When I first came onto the Mexican Food Blog scene back in 2011, Mely's recipes were the first ones I found to be the most authentic and traditional. They reminded me most of mom's homestyle cooking. Her salsa recipes, as well as all of her guisados, sopas and caldos are spot on. I am the proud owner of both of her books and have had the honor to cook with her in years past. If you are looking to expand your cookbook library with good quality Mexican recipes, don't pass up the chance to purchase both of her books asap.
