Title: The BEST sharpening system
Review: I have researched quite a bit on knife sharpening. Out of the WE, Tormek, Lansky-style, and belt sanders I originally went with a cheapo harbor freight 1x30 belt sander with angle attachment. It sucked. I sank about $100 into the whole thing and now I'm dreading throwing it away. I just tried the worksharp and I am in love. The worksharp beats the wicked edge in terms of cost, labor intensity and speed. worksharp beats the tormek in terms of cost, setup/cleanup, and speed. Worksharp beats lansky/rod style systems in terms of labor intensity and speed.OH. and I'm really excited, but I haven't tried the scissor sharpening feature. I may get a maul in the future too, and if this thing can do those even half as well as it does my kitchen knives... i'm going to marry it. literally buy a ring and get on one knee and propose.Long story short: the worksharp will get you a smooth and sharp edge in under 60 seconds, including the time it takes to change belts. You only need 2 strokes on each side on the medium belt, and about 5 on each side with the fine belt to achieve a working edge. The edge is sharp to the point where I notice I'm slicing into my plastic cutting board and I have to ease off. Kitchen prep was probably twice as fast, and half as hard today, cutting everything from chicken thighs to lemongrass. I don't need a mirror bevel. I don't need 100,000 grit diamond honing. I need a sharp knife almost every day in the kitchen, and I need a no-fuss, no-drama, easy, effective, and cheap way to maintain. The worksharp is that.I am in love. I'm going to leave bad reviews on other sharpening systems and YouTube videos and leave good ones for the worksharp. I'm total WS fanboi now.

Review: Wow, do I love this sharpener! This little wonder machine makes sharpening pruners, loppers, hedge trimmers, scissors, garden tools, shovels, axes, hatchets - all my "bladed" tools - easy, fast, efficient, and super sharp!I've owned another Worksharp shapener for about six years, which I use for knives, so I knew the quality, durability, and effectiveness of these machines and this little beauty is no exception. It's a perfect tool for making many other tools sharper and better.

Review: This tool is absolutely fantastic. I have sharpened kitchen knives, scissors, machetes, shovels, pocket knives, etc. super easy to use and changing the belts is a piece of cake. This product sets a standard for tools and I wish all my work tools were like this item. Truly amazing!But there is one small design flaw and Work Sharp should include a second part as a replacement in each box. And that item is the rest upon which the blade sits. As you sharpen your knives, this rest will get cut up since you’ve done a great job sharpening your blade edge. The rest is plastic and so each knive blade will cut a bit more and more and more until quite a bit has been cut into. If the company would just include a second one of these that you can just pop out the old one and replace it with time, this product would be perfect in my estimation.

Title: Simple and well built
Review: First thing I noticed was how well built and sturdy it felt. I wasn’t expecting much until I seen it and wow! 2 simple speeds and is able to do anything from fillet knives, kitchens knives, pocket knives, etc. I use this a lot on my fish fillet knives and deer skinning knives that go dull so fast. 2-3 zaps on each side and it’s a brand new knife in a minute. The size of it is a lot smaller than I thought as well so storage is not an issue. Highly recommend!

Review: I was tired of dull knives. I purchased several sharpeners that roll or slide, but they could not get the job done. I finally bought the Work Sharp and shazam. I no longer have dull knives. This sharpener is easy to use and will sharpen any knife. All you do is set the edge and then pull the knife across. Easy Peazy. Great sharpener..

Review: All I can say is wow I got this today. I sharpened all my hunting knives. Everyone of them came out razor sharp, I am so impressed with this company and this product. I would recommend it to anyone and it is so simple to use at first, I thought the price was a little high, but now that I’ve used the product why don’t think it’s too high at all I really cannot say enough about this knife sharpening unit you got knives get one thanks to all you guys at work sharp. You’ve got a hell of a product and it works well.

Review: I've tried all kinds of knife sharpening tools in my life, but this one is a complete game-changer. It got all my dull knives razor-sharp in minutes, whereas previously it would take hours. I like my knives sharp, but I don't have time to sharpen them every time they lose their edge. This tool now allows me to bring my knife back to life in under two minutes, and that's including taking it out of the box and plugging it into the socket.

El resultado es impresionante, el manejo es más simple que mecanismo de un lápiz.De primeras me cargué una de las lijas, pero me di cuenta de que fue por mi culpa, por ir con prisas y meter uno de los cuchillos, que ya estaba casi a punto, con un ángulo erróneo, así que hasta me vino bien para aprender a no volver a hacerlo.En media hora me casqué 11 cuchillos de 10" y los dejé incluso mejor que la mayoría de los afiladores a los que los llevaba (no tengo tiempo para afilado japonés, que es cómo mejor suelo dejarlos, y en media hora puedo hacer dos o tres como mucho).En cuanto pueda me ventilo los de casa y los de hoja ancha.Desde mi punto de vista de amateur en el afilado y como profesional del corte, se me ha convertido en un IMPRESCINDIBLE para mi trabajo.

Review: Let me get the negative out the way, Amazon state this is 110v it isn’t it’s 230v 50hz eu standard. Now this didn’t harm me I’m just glad I read some of the comments where 1 individual stated it was 230v and was the sole reason I bought it as I live in the UK.Now to what should have been the only thing I was going to type this tool is absolutely awesome it does exactly what it should I have no prior experience with this tool or anything like it the instructions are easy to follow and precise and my knifes are now razor sharp if you have been pondering just buy it.
