Title: Comfort, Value, Great Night's Sleep
Review: I replaced a very old, worn out, substandard mattress with this one, so bearing in mind that just about anything would have been an improvement, I have to say I'm completely satisfied with this mattress and not sure what could be better.The latex foam has a little less give and sink, and a little more springiness than memory foam, so it has an overall firmer feel which is just what I was hoping for when I selected this one over the memory foam gel model. It still conforms to your body to a degree, but gives a little more support overall. To me it's incredibly comfortable, allowing me to fully and quickly relax my body. The proof is in the soundness of sleep I've gotten and also how quickly I'm able to get to sleep. I really didn't understand that a new, quality mattress would make this big of an impact, but I do now. I'm only sorry I didn't make this purchase sooner, as I had researched and decided on this one a few months ago. I chose the 10" one, the descriptions and video reviews I watched indicate that the 12" model is a little softer and plusher. I think I chose the right one for me because I'm happy with a medium amount of firmness and might have found the 12" too soft.Unpacking and setup was simple and fast. The instructions recommend allowing 48 hours to expand before use, but mine seemed fully expanded after 24 hours so I slept on it after one day and it was fine. There was a slight to moderate odor of foam that fully dissipated after two or three days.I've read and seen some reviews that suggest this mattress may be less durable than a more expensive one, perhaps lasting only 3-4 years (although it has a 10 year warranty). At this very affordable price for this level of comfort, I will be more than happy even if I only get a shorter amount of useful life (and I'll never make the mistake of going so long on a worn out mattress again). I would fully recommend this mattress for the value and comfort, and the latex model is perfect for someone who prefers a bit firmer, supportive feel.

Title: It's like a quality spring mattress, only better in some ways.
Review: I have a futon in my living room that is so uncomfortable as a couch that I never used it in couch form... But then as a bed the mattress was horrible! Figured since I never folded it I might as well get a decent mattress for it. It just so happens I was in a car accident a couple weeks before getting this. I injured my back and my sciatic nerve was a wreck from laying on that futon mattress for two weeks. Immediately after the first night my sciatic nerve felt so much better and my all around comfort level was greatly improved. I don't know why I didn't do this a long time ago... I noticed some of the questions people ask and I waited 8 mos to write this. First, There is no smell at all. There are some sleezy amazon sellers out there that sell junk but this product is very clean, well packaged and better than I thought it would be. It's a memory foam mattress will steel coils so it feels like a quality mattress from a mattress store. Some people aren't fans of memory foam but with the springs its another level. It's a medium feel, not too firm, not too soft. I chose lucid from a video review I'd seen after a bunch of research. I got the protective cover and a pillow top which I highly suggest. Side note I also got a my pillow to seal the deal... So it comes rolled up and shrink wrapped. I had a bad experience with a wedge pillow but this mattress came to life right away and I actually slept on it 6 hours after getting it. It was totally in shape by then. I've had it for 8 mos now. I'm 180 and my dog is about 80lbs. So far there are no sunk in spots and is still in the same shape as the day I got it. If you're looking for a mattress, You like a more traditional feel with an added layer of memory foam and You don't want to spend 1000 dollars or more. Don't hesitate. It's a deal and you won't be disappointed.

Title: Very good. Sides seem soft
Review: This is our second Lucid mattress. It replaced one purchased 8 years ago (Lucid 10'). The difference being this one has the coil springs. It expanded well and fully within 36 hours. The support is as described - medium/firm. We both feel like the edges are not as firm as our previous Lucid model. In spite of the description specifically stating "Edge Support", it just feels softer, likely due to the coils and less foam or lower density foam, on the edges. The Latex top layer is much more responsive than memory foam IMO and better at heat regulation. There is little motion transfer from either of us that we notice. Initial sleep quality was ok most likely due to getting used to the additional support that our previous one had lost. Overall I feel it is a good value for the price

Review: Spent almost a week researching memory foam bed-in-a-box mattresses and was a bit hesitant to purchase this onebut after thorough comparisons from all the others I finally decided to take the chance with LUCID, seemingly the best choice out of all the other ones out there (IMO). WOW - I'm super happy I took that chance !- First off, the price is great for a hybrid mattress and shipping is ROCKET FUELED (ordered 18 May in pm - received 23 May noon through Canada Post regular shipping.) Overall package weighs around 50-60 lbs. so a helping hand could come in handy although I did it myself slowly (pic 1). Took it inside, opened it up and let it expand to its proper size.It was a quick process as I could've slept in it that same night but, out of consideration for proper expansion I did let it sit overnight.- Secondly, NO CHEMICAL SMELLS OR GASSING ! That was really a + as all other reviewers of bed-in-a-box mattresses complain about that odor problem.What saves us here is because it's not a 100% memory foam but a hybrid so 50% coils + 50% memory foam thus lessening the odor factor in the making of the mattress since less foam.LUCID added a wise thing in the package, a delicate credit-card snipping tool (pics 2-3) to let you open up the plastic's (transport and protective) with ease and without worries of having any would-be incident should've one used scissors.BRILLIANT !Construction (pics 4-5-6) is well conceived and quilting is close-knit and dense. Memory foam top layer padding depth is just right and you won't have that sinking effect. Coils in the base layer High Density Poly Foam are solidly encapsulated and padded (pic 6.) I agree with the firmness evaluations, myself I give it between firm and medium-firm so make that ± 7/10 scale. Either back or side sleeping, there is no problem whatsoever as all positions are comfortable (even stomach). The mattress holds you comfortably & supports perfectly in whatever position you lay in.- Finally, a true 12" mattress (pics 7-8).Conclusion its a well made mattress, easy to set up and no gassing. Very positive purchase and I stand behind LUCID 100% on this particular mattress. This one is value for the money, I confirm !-----------------------------P.S.: I was not paid or asked to write this review, I am simply sharing my opinion with the community who, like me,have spent considerable time researching for the BEST quality money-wise mattress can buy.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update June 7 2020 :Its been a year now and the mattress is holding on GREAT!No sagging, sinking, weakening or other declining factors and it still stands high at 12".Can truly confirm that it was a GREAT buy, and I still stand behind Lucid and this particular mattress purchase.I thought I'd share my experience with all you doubtful buyers out there (as I was too !)

Review: Estuve en busca de un colchón durante algún tiempo ya que padezco de escoliosis, por tanto necesito tener un colchón con buen soporte lumbar ya que suelo tener mucho dolor en la espalda baja.Después de investigar y ver reseñas, supe que un colchón híbrido era la mejor opción así que me decidí por este modelo, sin embargo, cuando lo recibí estaba muy maltratada la caja y el plástico que lo envolvía tenía algunas perforaciones.Con todo y eso me atreví a extender el colchón durante el tiempo estipulado (y un poco más) y la verdad es que es muy cómodo. Suelo levantarme sin el dolor que me causaba mi anterior colchón, el único inconveniente que le encuentro es que cuando pasas mucho tiempo acostado (8-9hrs) el colchón se empieza hundir ligeramente y resulta un poco incómodo aunque después retoma su firmeza normal. Tengo un par de meses con el.

Review: I must say I really like this mattress and I am happy with the quality for what I paid. I find it to be the perfect firmness, it's definitely on the firm side but has a nice comforting layer of foam on top to relieve pressure points. I am around 220 pounds so anyone around my weight I can attest to supreme comfort in any sleeping position. The removable cover is very nice and feels durable and comfortable as well. Edge support is actually pretty good and has a nice consistent feel all over. I like the level of sink and push back from the latex and foam layers, it's just right you don't sink in like quicksand memory foam but get great support and contouring to your body. It might not be the most ultra high end mattress ever made but it is also not a $2000 investment, It is however excellent quality and seems to me like it should last for several years and at this price I would be happy with that. Fair warning it is a big box and quite heavy so get some help moving it around and installing it. Shipping was also very quick like 2 days so that was great. Expanded to full height almost immediately but I let mine sit for a full 24 hours and everything was good to go. I really like how flat and even the top surface is as well, and it sleeps cool which is nice for hot sleepers like myself. Motion transfer is not bad, not the best I've ever seen but certainly not the worst. I love this mattress and will recommend it to anyone looking for a bed in a box 👍
