Hungry for something different? Then try America's Best BBQ. Here, two of the world's top barbecue experts present their favorite barbecue recipes from across America.

Only Ardie and Paul, the go-to sources on barbecue, can earn the trust--and the secret recipes--from some of the nation's barbecue legends.

Tasty sides include tips, tricks, techniques, fun memorabilia, full-color photos, and firsthand recollections of tales from the pits culled from over a century of combined barbecue experience.

With more than 100 recipes for mouthwatering starters, moist and flavorful meats, classic side dishes, sauces and rubs, and decadent desserts, this book should come with its own wet-nap.

* Whether it's spicy or sweet, Texas or Memphis, this is the best collection of American barbecue recipes.

* Ardie's BBQ alter ego, Remus Powers, PhB, has earned profiles in many barbecue books, tons of magazines, and more than a few national newspapers. He's graced the Food Network and PBS, appearing in various documentaries on 'cue and great American cuisine.

* Paul has appeared on The Today Show, Discovery Channel, CBS This Morning, Talk Soup, and Anthony Bourdain's A Cook's Tour: In Search of the Perfect Meal. He was also featured in AARP's Modern Maturity Magazine, Saveur, and The Calgary Herald, and he has written articles for Food and Wine, Fine Cooking, and Chili Pepper magazine.

Title: Extensive List of Barbecue Recipes/Eating Places
Review: I confess that my purchase of this kindlebook that is America’s Best BBQ; 100 Recipes From America’s Best Smokehouses, Pits, Shacks, Rib Joints, Roadhouses and Restaurants by Chef Paul Kirk and Ardie A David PhB partially by a similar list of a restaurant list that I saw via a Usweekly magazine at a cvs magazine stand and from multiple related trends I have sometimes tried to discreetly peek at via my current job (it is far from my intent to tell anyone what to do rather I am just sharing candidly some of what influences my interests). With that cleared, the following are some of the prolific details in this kindlebook that is America’s Best BBQ; a section of places recommended for starters including recipes featured that included onion strings and the amount of servings the recipe yields, recipes for brisket nachos from Tom’s Ribs, a section of main dishes including a beef brisket recipe and barbecued ribeye, apple city barbecue sauce recipe, barbecue rituals, and more. I paid for this kindlebook from money made at my current job though I admit to keeping an open mind to both amateur food writers in addition to those who are professionally paid for their food writings.

Title: Best of both worlds, cook book/good read.
Review: I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday because he loves grilling. Book is of great quality, however during delivery the corners got a bit scuffed and bent. Its not just a recipe book, there are some great reads in there which makes it very interesting.

Title: I do think this is a good book just wish there were more recipes that were main dishes
Review: I do think this is a good book, I do wish that there were more recipes that were main dishes there is only one recipe for ribs. What I would of liked would for it to showcase more ribs, brisket recipes, bbq chicken from how different parts of the country. BBQ in Memphis, is different from Tennessee, Kansas City, Texas I was just hoping for a contrast that showcased the different styles . There are a lot of side dishes and some recipes are just glance overs.

Title: More than I expected
Review: I am giving this as a gift so I didn't read every page but just looking through the book its way more than I expected. The pictures are great and the art work on each page is fun. The book is very durable and the cover is a hard paper not a flimsy piece of junk. Don't let the BBQ make you think its only about pork they have lots of recipes for all kinds of southern food such as french fries, pudding, and deep fried oreos. Great buy!

Title: Run to read & excellent recommendations
Review: In May 2010, we tried 5 places from this book in Memphis, North Carolina, and Kansas City. Each restaurant deserved its recommendation and was worth the time and effort to find. I'll be keeping this book handy for future advice.

Title:
Review: Nice collection on US-bbq-joint-recipes, but in the end, all the personal experience-stories of both writers are getting a bit boring. There's also surprisingly little variety in the kinds of rubs/recipes/cookingways. But the book is still a must for those wanting to specialise their US BBQ-skills!
