Title: Oh yeah buddy
Review: My 7 year old off brand electric mower died a slow death. So after much research I got this Craftsman mower. I didn't realize how much easier life could be. My old mower was ok but seriously underpowered for the crabgrass and weeds that make up my big back yard. This Craftsman is 12 amps. Between the time my old mower died and my new one arrived, it was almost a month and several rainstorms later. This yard normaly gets mowed twice a week so by the time I got the Craftsman the weeds and crabgrass were knee high in some places. I thot about using the Weedeater to knock it down some but hey, what a test of a new mower. Ended up being pleasantly surprised. I could only do about a 4 inch swath each round, I had to empty the bag about every 10 or 12 feet and it did bog down a few times. But we're talking about knee high weeds here. I've had the same results using my nieghbor's expensive hi powered gas mower several years ago. And unbeknownst to me, the grass wasn't as dry as I thot it was.It took 2 days (I had to quit due to the heat) but I got it done. A week later I mowed again and was amazed at how much easier it was than with my old mower. I cut a full 20 inch swath. This one is bigger, more powerful and the grass bag holds a really decent amount of clippings. And it's way easy to put on and take off. My dogs like to pick up sticks and break them into pieces and leave them everywhere. The Craftsman hit these hidden gems and blasted right thru them. I have trumpet vine springing up everywhere. No problem, chewed them up and spit them out. My front yard is small and has mostly Burmuda and Buffalo grass and a million little sticks from the trees. I finished it in less than half the time it used to take. Going from a twelve inch wide cut to a 20 makes a world of difference. And this mower has the power to do it.I've only mowed 3 times with this, so time will tell. Since it is a Craftsman, I can get parts and service if I need it. I can mow one handed if I want to manage the cord with the other. Its lightweight enough to toss in the back of my SUV if need be. (And I'm a 67 year old woman with bad knees) My only complaint is supposedly you can break down the handle and store it under a shelf. Technically this is true, but the reality its it's kind of a pain in the ass to undue the screws. So I probably won't be doing that. It kinda sucks because that was one reason I bought this model, but hey, that's my problem. It is rather loud but not as bad as a gas mower. All in all I'm very happy with it. It was easy to assemble right outta the box. Just be sure to have the proper gauge extention cord (I think mine is a 12 gauge, 50 feet long) and 10 minutes after you open the box, you'll be mowing!!

Title: Lightweight, Easy to Assembly, Works as Expected, wish it had a mulching blade!
Review: This is a great mower so far, I have used it 3 times.. the one problem I have is the blade activation bar.. its uncomfortable to hold that down while mowing.. it will give your hand calluses.. Also, this mower does not have a mulching blade, so It will leave piles of grass on your lawn that you have to go back over on to mulch up. Also, if you use this mower in the morning on slightly wet high grass, it will bog down on you and it will throw your breaker. Other then that, it is very light weight, and easy to handle, does not need any self assist to push it.. It is also very stylish looking, love the black and the red color combo.. My one other concern is going to be the wheels.. I dont see that they will last for a long time, they look very cheap and flimsy, but so far they are holding up..

Title: Chorded mower
Review: I have used this mower twice using a 100' 12 gauge heavy duty extension cord and a 50' cord. The 13 amp motor has enough power for a majority of situations but it did bog down a little when i hit an area of the yard that still had some dew on the grass. The grass in that area was also 6" - 8" tall. My old gas mower would have bogged going through that as well. Had it not been wet i am sure this mower would have been just fine going through this. As it was i simply needed to slow my pace going through that area. The mower is very quite compared to a gas mower. It is a little odd only hearing the blade spin and when you mow over small limbs the sound of those limbs hitting the plastic deck was a little concerning but the deck held up fine. I decided on a chorded mower because i will only need it a few times before winter and the mower will then be going to long term storage for two or three years. While i could prep a gas mower for long term storage and hope it runs like new when i need it again i know for certain this chorded electric mower will be fine being stored for that length of time. I have had a chorded blower for 25 years. It has seen five gas blowers come and go during that time and has never let me down. I have only had self propelled gas mowers in the past so i was concerned i would miss a self propelled mower but i found this mower to be very easy to push through the yard even in one area that is sloped. I found mowing with a chorded mower takes some planning. You need to lay the extension chord out on one side of the yard and mow back and forth away from the chord but overall i found the chord to be a non issue. I am pleased with this mower.

Title: Super lightweight, easy to use.
Review: I've used this mower a few times now, just got it at the beginning of mowing season. I really like this mower, it's super light and easy to maneuver, and for me it's a lot easier on my back. I don't have a very big yard -- wouldn't recommend it if you do -- and while I do have a couple of trees and a birdbath, keeping the extension cord out of the way is no big deal. Yeah, it's a bit more tedious than not having a cord, but not really a problem for me with my yard.My only complaints, and they are minor, are the bale that is you have to hold down to keep it on is not very comfortable and seems to really want to spring up and turn off. I only mention it because I can imagine someone with maybe arthritis or some other issues with their hands may find it a bit hard, because it doesn't have to lift much to turn the power off. Yes, it is great to have it as a safety feature, just something I noticed with mine. The only other issue thus far is that the cover for the back grass chute when not bagging does not have a very powerful spring system. When mulching, grass fairly easily blows out of it. Not like the whole thing just gets propped fully open, it's just a couple of inches, but it really shouldn't do that. Duct tape to the rescue, of course...just a couple small strips and it stays shut and easily removed when I do need to bag.Neither of my complaints kept me from rating this a 5, though. I so far have just been quite well pleased at how easy it is to work with, and how much happier my back is 🙂 It does a great job with the yard.Anyway, just my 2 cents.

Review: Overall good machine. Lacks power of more expensive machines with higher Amps, or of course gasoline powered ones, but this is a nice machine for smaller lawns. It is much quieter than gas powered ones and also avoids the need to fill up / smell. You do need to careful with the electric cord to avoid cutting it with the lawn mower itself.Key points: 1. Don't set the height too low- the mower engine is not strong enough to handle even medium long lawns at this setting- if you want a really low cut lawn, first cut it medium, then low. . 2. Set up is easy, but the three settings of the length of the push bar is really long- so you need to set it to the shortest setting (using two screw knobs provided), 3. The handle that you need to pull for the engine to continue (for safety reasons) is very stiff. My wrist hurts after even cutting for a small while (10 minutes- female wrists!!). 4. The bag is tiny- I mean really small. You will need to empty this the bag frequently. For the price, it is good, especially as a started lawn mower and only if you have a small lawn. I would recommend.

Review: I've used it many times now and it's easy and very effective to use. Due to constant electrical power via attached cable.. it's WAY more effective than my previous battery-powered mower which would lose juice fairly quickly and never quite had the power this 1 does. This really works consistently and super easy to use. it's quite light yet solid. best mower I've owned for sure. 5/5 stars.

Review: Arrived on time. Easy assembly.Works well although a little under powered for heavier grass. Not loud but louder than I expected an electric mower to be.
