Title: Lightweight and cute. I like it very much. . It is too small for larger cats.
Review: I got so tired of scooping and sneezing my head off. There had to be a better way. I like this box. . I just ordered a second one. I have two cats. The only negative is that it is on the small side compared to other pans, but i like that. You use less litter to fill the pan. Less waste in my opinion. I have 2 Persian kittens that are quite big at 5 months of age. They fit just fine. This box is very lightweight and at 66 i just could not lift the other heavier sifter box I had, when full of litter. This one is much much easier to clean, I Lift, toss, put back together. I sometimes don't bother reassembling. I leave the sifter section out and sift to the other box back and forth a few times a day .i use Arm and Hammer SLIDE or CLOUD CONTROL. Either works good with this box. Just don't shake too much or the clumps break up. I gently lift the sifter, then quickly put the empty tray under it to catch fall out. I toss the clumps, then wipe the old used box and sifter with a alcohol on a paper towel or Lysol wipe. I put the sifter in the just cleaned tray. Done. Ready for the next time. Ever week they all get a good soap and hot water scrub and new litter, but after 7 days, the box does not really need it. I am amazed how much longer the dust free SLIDE and CLOUD lasts with NO odor. And I have tried just about every kind. I detest dusty clay litter. This box will work with any clay hard clumping litter but it may make a sticky mess on the sifter holes. I am specifically talking about tidy cat instant. It made a broken clumps mess with bits sprayed all over the new clean litter when I tried sifting. And the clumps stuck like glue to the bottom of the pan. I would spend 15 minutes fishing for bits with a ( no kidding) plastic dinner fork. Just to make sure my small apt did not smell like cat pee. Don't they know that I will never buy it again? it also got very dusty after just a few days of the cats scratching around. It smelled nice - but dust and loose wet clumps? No way. UPDATE: I have been using 2 of these boxes for my 5 month old Persian kittens for about a week. Indo like them very much. They are light and easy to clean. Drawbacks - I wish the holes were not up to the edges. I am constantly sprinkling my toes tapping the sifter out and I am being very slow and gentle, but sprinkling on me or the floor happens almost every time. The litter I use ( A&H Slide) is very fine and sandy. And you cannot fill the box to the suggested fill line. This makes it heavy to pick up to sift and the cats make a huge mess digging. My cats love to dig to China I swept up about a cup full of clean litter this morning. Last night I had decided to try filling to the line. Big mistake. This morning, I poured half of each into a third box. Enough of that nonsense. Litter is expensive, and I just could not throw litter mixed with normal daily floor dirt back into my two babies boxes. What a waste. And lastly, YES they are a bit too small, but I still like the ease of use and the look of them, so for now they are staying. Final thought - i stopped stacking them. I now leave 3 unstacked boxes out and use one box and one sifter to clean the other three. I Put the extra sifter away. So i have 3 plain boxes being used with one filter section and one clean empty box to go around cleaning the others. It got annoying to lift the heavy full stacked box to get to the sifter. . I am a senior with arthritis and this way works for me best. I will probably have to get larger boxes when the kittens become full grown. For now they work fine.

Review: I purchased this Arm & Hammer large screening litter box specifically to use with pine litter. Its screening function makes it easy and efficient for me to clean the cat litter. With just a gentle shake at a time, you can sift out the clean litter and clean up the remaining waste very easily. The material of the sand box is strong and durable, the structure is stable, and it is not easy to deformation or damage.

Review: UPDATE 5/5/19After watching the lady with the cattery on YouTube, I've decided to go with the Breeze using the large So Phresh box to catch the sawdust instead of the tray provided. Sorry Arm & Hammer. Yours has better slats but it's a smaller box and I don't want to search for the right size bottom box to use with it. Someone needs to produce a sifting box with a good 3" to 5" clearance from the bottom box and the right size slats for the sawdust to fall through without the pine pellets getting through or stuck. They'd make a killing in the litter box business!UPDATE 4/16/19When I embarked on this new system using pine pellets instead of clay litter, I first purchased the Pet Mate 42036 Arm & Hammer Large Sifting Litter Pan. Soon after I purchased the Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE Cat Litter Box System so I could compare the two systems. After using both for over two months, I am no longer enamored with the Breeze. What a mess to clean up when you remove the tray to dump the potty pad! The (moist) sawdust gets into the tracks where the tray slides in and out and it's almost impossible to get it out without using your fingers, and even then you can't get it all out. Talk about gross! Granted, I'm not using the pellets that came with it and from what I understand, they work differently. Probably loaded with chemicals too as well as way over priced. Regardless, something called the BREEZE shouldn't be this difficult to empty the tray without getting sawdust everywhere! The Arm & Hammer sifting box, on the other hand, is closer to being a "breeze" to clean and empty the bottom box without a huge mess. Its only downfall is that I have to put 4 pieces of wood in between the two boxes for space for the sawdust to fall into. But that's minor compared to how easy it is to empty the sawdust & pad. HINT: Get a jumbo size litter box and put the entire system inside of it. Any pellets or sawdust that get kicked out will fall into the larger box. When you empty the bottom box and pad, just dump what fell into the jumbo box into it before dumping. No muss, no fuss!A&H is superior, hands down, and you can't beat the price. (If they just added feet to the top box to give an inch or so space, it would be PERFECT for using pine pellets! Took off one star for this shortcoming, otherwise it would be 5 stars. ) Will be buying a second Arm & Hammer sifting box and selling the Breeze.Original Review:This was my first litter box purchased after switching to pine pellets. It's not designed necessarily for the pellets, as there isn't enough space between the sifting box and the box underneath it to accommodate the pee pads and all the sawdust to fall down. I used blocks of wood underneath the pee pads to put space between it and the sifter to make it work. Also the box could be a little bigger. But other than that, it's a good solid box and excellent system, whether you're using clay litter or pine pellets. You just need to put the boxes in a different order depending on which litter you're using.

Title: A bit small, but perfect for cleaning pelletized pine litter stored in larger trays.
Review: This litter box is probably perfect for one small cat. But if you have multiple cats, then you probably need a larger litter box. I use a cement tray filled with pelletized pine pellets from Tractor Supply. I strictly use this litter box for cleaning that larger tray. The sifting tray has perfectly sized holes and makes cleaning the pellets a quick task.My only critique is in regards to the air gap between the sifting tray and the catch tray. It should be a little taller so that there's room for the pine dust to fall into. I have to hold the sifting tray and the catch tray in a weird way to compensate for the small air gap every time I'm cleaning. However, this is still a huge upgrade over using a small hand sifter to clean a large litterbox.
