Review: Great little book with fairly simple recipes. The beginning of the book outlines everything necessary for consistently good results. My favorites are Raisin Scones and Carrot and Cream Cheese Scones.

Title: No pictures of the scones.
Review: There are many recipes and will take me a while to try them out. But knowing the basics and what to have on hand to prepare them properly, is quite helpful. The reason I gave it only 3 stars was because there are absolutely NO pictures of the final product! A picture to go with several of the variations, would have really helped and encouraged those of us who are new to scone making! A few grammatical errors, as well, but not enough to change the outcomes. I have never been able to find cinnamon "chips" anywhere. Most ingredients are easy to obtain at the grocery store, but I had no luck with cinnamon "chips". (-: The best part was having so many different ones to choose from!

Title: Don't buy this one
Review: There are lots of great cookbooks out there - this isn't one of them. All the recipes are basically the same with a couple different ingredients put in. The dough is often more like cake batter and scone dough. The directions are not complete as to how you mix the ingredients together. I make scones every week - It was the superpower I developed during the pandemic lockdown. Sorry, but this recipe book just doesn't cut it.
