Title: Cast iron pie pan
Review: Extremely heavy when pie is in it, but sturdy. Can never go wrong with cast iron. I bought at a great sale price, although well worth the normal price. Wonderful for home, RVing, camping,etc. Very nice that it comes with a trivet to put it on.

Title: Better than expected!
Review: I've always been a fan of cast iron—my great-grandmother was a huge proponent of cast iron and passed that passion on to me as she taught me how to cook when I was growing up. 😊 I didn't think about using a cast iron pie pan—I honestly didn't know they existed until I saw this. The pan is beautifully made, and I can see no flaws. It comes pre-seasoned, but I always do an extra round of seasoning on any new cast iron to ensure it's clean and ready to use. I'm looking forward to using this during the upcoming holiday season! I appreciate that it includes a trivet to put the pie pan on - you can never have too many of those! This comes packaged nicely in a giftable box. It's a great gift idea—highly recommend!

Title: Love Cast Iron
Review: I love cast iron and was happy to see this pie plate available. A couple of the high points on the crimping edge are shiny/worn (they obviously hit them with a grinder), but that won't affect the quality of the pies. It also could be bigger, because this is America, but 9" is a pretty standard size.Thickness is on point and there aren't any rough burrs anywhere. Does NOT come pre-seasoned, which is actually good (you don't want to mess with whatever they use in the factory).
