Title: Great piece of tool to protect you from bad drivers!
Review: Before I review I made sure I can use that product for at least 3 months without any issue. Last four months I have been using this product, I can simply say this is a great piece of add on you must have if you drive to protect you from bad drivers. This not only records your front end cars but also your back end which is extra protection. It comes with very good user manual and nice a nice box. I could not upload my video review where I did show the recording quality of this product is superb. The provided Botslab app is good I wont say flawless but it is much better than few I have used. You can review your recorded video which include many details of the trip including your speed of the driving.-4k recording is crisp clear-You can save it on your phone directly when you connect it through the bluetooth in the botslab app-Rear camera is pretty solid.-both camera record simultaneously while you drive-Unit comes with complete pack you wont need to buy anything else-this has loop recording feature which is good-make sure to use their own memory card which is 64gb, I tried to use my 256gb card which did not work well.

Review: I bought this to add to my new Silverado. This camera works great, and the app/system works great as well.In the package is all you need to set this up - SD card, front/rear cameras, power cord, long cord for rear camera, plastic tucking tools, and mounting stickers.Installing is straight forward, mount the devices where you like and run the cords. It works best if you can tuck the cords into the ceiling and into the door trip/weather stripping.Camera itself walks you through the setup after downloading the app and updating firmware. Alignment to the road and front of vehicle.One key note, if you have wireless car play or android auto, you will want to turn off your connection to your phone or you'll have a hard time maintaining connectivity to the dash cam.The camera has many settings you can toggle:- Lane Departure- Screen Saver- Pedestrian warning- Car in front moving- Sensitivity for events (meaning, if your vehicle hits something or gets hit, it will create a mini recording)You can take the SD card out of the camera and load on a PC, or you can connect with your phone and download clips. The camera is always recording, but cuts clips to manageable segments for ease of downloading, which is a great feature.Luckily I have not had any issues which caused me to pull a video, but so far I'm very happy with this purchase.

Review: Instant 1 star. I didn't even install the thing. Not installing a random app from a random company on my phone to operate this. Such a stupid thing to force a customer to do. No wonder it's inexpensive, they likely sell your personal data and information.

Review: Is nice finish product but rear cam poor quality picture , major interference with car gps , map on my 2020 Lexus car stop working and my map running good only if I disconnect the camera from power . For this price you aspected have better product 👎🏻

The compact size and 2.45" IPS screen make navigation and playback very convenient. The front camera captures stunning 4K ultra HD footage, thanks to the Sony IMX 415 sensor and STARVIS technology, ensuring clear visibility of license plates and road details even in low-light conditions. Although the rear camera has a resolution of only 1080p, it still performs well within this price range.What surprised me the most is the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) feature. It provides real-time monitoring of the road ahead, offering lane departure warnings and predestrian collision alerts, significantly enhancing driving safety. These features are particularly valuable during long drives or nighttime driving.Additionally, the use of a supercapacitor instead of a traditional battery improves the device’s lifespan and environmental friendliness, allowing it to operate normally under extreme temperatures. This dash cam offers great value for money, and my experience with it has been excellent.

Review: BOTSLAB Dual Channel (Front 4K & Rear 1080p) Dashcam Review.The presentation of this dashcam exudes premium. The accessories were neatly packaged in boxes and the unboxing experience was similar to getting a new high-end phone.The main forward dashcam has some heft and does not feel cheaply made. The view screen is small and provides some detail. Users will see much more detail when recorded footage is downloaded to a phone or a computer.The 170° wide-angle 4K (25 fps) dashcam lens captures detail in daylight and nighttime but lacks optical image stabilization. When your vehicle is stopped at a traffic light, the dashcam can capture license plates from a distance of half a car’s length. This is also ideal when parked in a parking lot. The rear 1080p (60 fps) camera captures sufficient detail in daylight and at night.However, when your vehicle is in motion, the dash cam turns oncoming licence plates into an indistinguishable blur. Minus the licence plate issue, your surroundings are captured in stunning detail. If an incident occurs, this dash cam will record it.A minor nitpick is that a green LED on the left side of the device blinks while recording. I covered the LED with a small piece of black electrical tape. The dash cam alerts users (by computerized voice) that it still records when the viewscreen turns off. The same ‘voice’ is used for the dash cam’s ADAS system alerting the driver to pedestrians, lane deviation, hard braking, aggressive driving and when the vehicle ahead of you starts moving. GPS logging and tracking at this price point is unheard of and is usually associated with higher-end model dashcams.The spoken ADAS prompts can be configured through the Botslab app.The supercapacitor is preferred over a lithium-ion battery. In past experiences, the supercapacitor endured extreme hot and cold temperatures. There is mention of a lithium-ion battery in the product description. The battery is likely used to keep the dashcam’s time and date.For 24/7 parking and sentry monitoring, you will need a hard-wire kit. I tried the cigarette lighter/power outlet adapter method first. When the adapter is plugged into an outlet that provides constant power, this will drain the vehicle battery over time. The hard wire kit resolves this problem.There are two options available. The first option is a kit that hard-wires the dash cam to your vehicle’s fuse panel. This allows the dash cam to go into parking/sentry mode. The kit includes an inline voltage regulator that automatically turns the dash cam off to avoid battery drainage. Some voltage regulators allow users to choose from four battery voltage settings. This option takes the most time to install.The second option takes the least installation time and uses the vehicle’s OBD II port. This method eliminates wiring the dash cam to the fuse panel. During operation, the dash cam was warm to the touch but was not as warm when I used the cigarette lighter/power outlet adapter method. If choosing this method, get the micro USB version, (B074M4XMBX).Ensure enough cable length is available to connect the dash cam to the OBD II port. The adapter is attached to roughly 3.5 metres (11.5 ft) of cable. To conceal the cable, I hid it under the headliner, A-pillar, and the excess cable was hidden near the OBD II port. Plug the adapter in, set the switch to the desired mode and that’s it. The OBD II adapter has a switch that selects two modes. The first mode keeps the dashcam on while driving and turns the dashcam off after five minutes when the car is shut off.The second mode puts the dashcam in parking/sentry mode. When your vehicle is turned off, the dashcam continues to record. The Botslab app can adjust how much time is allowed for recording. When the vehicle’s battery reaches 11.6 volts, the dashcam shuts off.Installation of the dash cam was straightforward. The instructions are clear and guide you through the process. A firmware update was available when the dashcam was first started. The dashcam is equipped with a built-in alignment guide that assists with positioning the device. The kit comes with an extra self-adhesive pad. The ESD sticker kept falling off despite having cleaned the windshield thoroughly. If the dash cam needs to be repositioned, I’ve found that a length of fishing line cuts through the adhesive. Goo gone removes any residue left behind.Overall, and despite minor nitpicks this dashcam exceeded my expectations. Recommended!

Review: I’ve been using the BOTSLAB 4K Dash Cam for a few days, and it’s really solid. It is easy to install and the app is user friendly. The video quality is super clear, both day and night, and I can easily see even license plates. The wide-angle view helps catch more of what's happening around me. I love the ADAS feature—it alerts me when I’m too close to a car. The GPS is handy for tracking my routes, and the app is easy to use for checking footage. Overall, a great dash cam!
