Review: This thing works SO well! It shreds cabbage really finely, far faster and more evenly than I could ever do with a knife. The angle of the handle makes it very ergonomic if you're right-handed. You can get a fluffy pile of perfectly shredded cabbage or lettuce in nothing flat. I try to keep my kitchen gadgets to a minimum, but this is worth the very small space it takes up in my kitchen drawer.

Review: I wanted something to finely shred cabbage for making sauerkraut and thought this might work well. And oh boy does it. Adequate size for shredding the side of a head of cabbage. It's sharp enough to slice the leaves easily. And it shreds more finely than I can consistently do with a sharp knife. Makes prep for kraut so much quicker and easier
