Title: Works great!
Review: I use it in 4 minute increments for safety. I pull it out of the microwave and open it up and turn over the potato to test for doneness. Sometimes if potato is gigantic I have to trim it on one side lengthwise to get the lid to close. Also do a second and third 4 minute increment to get the potato super soft. Still a big time saver over oven baking. Cleans up in top rack dishwasher. Very happy with this purchase.

Review: I made the mistake of getting a potato bag that was supposed to be 100% cotton (including the thread). I had used it several times and it worked fine UNTIL... it caught fire in one corner, and if I hadn't been in the room, it would have been entirely in flames.THIS cooker is amazing. I usually have one fairly large potato that only takes five to six minutes and is wonderfully soft and ready to go. I love steaming my potatoes in this and will try other things also. Maybe will try corn on the cob.The cooker itself is not hot to the touch, but make sure to be careful when you let the steam out.

Title: Works but bent in the dishwasher and now I can't use it after one use
Review: It worked great. Used it one time and put it on the top shelf in the dishwasher. Sadly for some reason it bent and I can't get it back to shape. So really sad. I love potatoes of all types and it taking over a hr just takes to long and putting a cloth over always bugs me. So this for me is a great thing just so sad to only get to use it once and it bent. Hopefully I just got on that somehow is different and that won't be the case for you.

Review: I love baked potatoes , but I have not bought a bag of potatoes in 8 or 9 years because it takes too long in the oven and those red microwave quilted ones get gross after one try to make one. I bought this and was still hesitant to buy a bag. I took a leap of faith from reading the other reviews and got a 5 lbs bag. I had a craving for a baked potato so I tried this gadget. It’s WONDERFUL. I put in two small ones for the suggested time (you really need to know the microwave wattage to get the best results for the time you choose). VOILA! Perfect fluffy, moist potatoes with no hard spots done in 8 MINUTES!!! How I wish I had one of these years ago. I only have myself to cook for so I can’t say for a larger group of people if it would be feasible to have one. I am truly thrilled to have found this potato cooker. I am going to try sweet potatoes in it next, Sweet potatoes with pan fried bread ( like a pancake type deal. What a treat and what a meal.It’s definitely worth buying. It may not look like it’s worth it but it is.

Review: I love this gadget because it makes my jacket potatoes nice and fluffyinside. The only problem is if the potatos are too large for the lid toclose. I just cut the potato in half length wise and I can close the lid.
