Title: Skip the 9 Series and buy this--NOW!
Review: Update - - I'm still loving this razor! I bought it in mid-September and today, the last day in November, I had to charge it for the second time. I've used this razor every weekday and continue to love the close shave. The product has held up very well and still looks very nice. And it holds a charge phenomenally.I'm a big Norelco fan--for decades. I've had several of their top of the line models with my last one being a 9000 series. It did well for years but as all know, Norelco stopped selling complete head replacements and only would sell replacement blades--my shaver head become very calcified and crusty (yes, I could clean it with some special products, but it was also getting old and faded). So I decided to get a new shaver. I reviewed all the models and nothing really excited me, until I saw the new 7 series! Very nice looking--and then I saw the price! I couldn't believe it was so cheap I had to look several times. I thought perhaps Amazon made a mistake in the listing price! This is about the price of 2 replacement blades. Given that price, I bought it immediately. When the product arrived, I was impressed with the quality of build. Very nice looking and good feel. It is lighter than the 9000 series but that's fine. I LOVE that it has a built-in trimmer--I missed that with my latest 9 series shaver. And I like that the shaver blades pop open with a hinge rather than my older 9 series which required me to completely remove the top--often dropping it into the sink, when rinsing.The shave was SO SMOOTH and close. It doesn't sound as nice as the 9 series--remember this is less than a third of the price! But it cuts amazingly--so much better than my old one--very close, and very powerful. My old shaver would struggle with weekend stubble and sometimes I'd have to use a blade and then the shaver on Mondays--no more with this shaver! I've had it for several months now and have yet to have it drop even one of the 3 bars on the battery. I actually look forward to shaving every morning--it's so smooth and fun. The only drawback with the new Norelco design is, as others have mentioned, this doesn't get under the nose as well as the older design.But again, for the money, one can but a new shaver 3 times as often as the older 9 series and I have not noticed anything lacking from this model. BUY IT NOW! You won't regret your decision.

Title: Best Shave Ever! Safe for Black Men.
Review: I am pleasantly surprised that as a Black man who has to be careful of his shaving techniques, because of the potential problem of pseudofolliculitis barbae (razor bumps) I can use this everyday. I researched shavers that are recommended for Black men. This one came up, and was highly rated outside of Amazon. I may even have seen it as part of the testing program at Consumer Reports.I have shaved for nearly 50 years. This is my first rotary shaver. I had to replace my MG7750, which would no longer take a charge. I never knew that I could have as clean a shave a trim as I have enjoyed with this one, to the point where others are noticing the diffeence in my appearance.I do not use the charging cradle, because the top-heavy design of the shaver makes it wobble. I am happy to maintain blissful ignorance of the shaver's durability. I just plug the charger cord directly into the port on the shaver and lay it on its back.I only charge it once a week, and I use it daily. It is unplugged when not charging. I do this to extend the life of the battery. As stated above I only need to plug it in once a week, and it is always ready by the time of my next shave. I tried to make a video showing how clean a shave I get from it, but it disappeared after I recorded it.It is a great value, a good, bump-free, burn-free, fast shave. You can be done, head and face, in three to five, if you are perfectionist as I am, or less if you are neuro-typical.It cmes with a case in which you can fit all of the accessories. Cleaning is easy. ISince I do not have a cleaner, I remove the blade array, tap it lightly on the sink, the clippings come out and I discard them.The manufacturer recommends shaving dry for the cleanest results. They are right. I have a truly clean look, cleaner than I thought was possible without going to a professional barber on a daily basis.

Title: Good close shave, LiPo battery and OK integrated sideburn trimmer
Review: I've owned a whole range of Philips/Norelco shavers over 15 years. This one is the right buying decision now. The cheaper units (than this one) still use 1990s battery tech (NiMH not LiPo) that don't last as long, and suffer 'memory' problems. (I'm an electrical engineer driving a Tesla). This shaver delivers good close shave, long run-time, and easy transport (as no separate plug-in charger). You can charge from USB cable, using hotel USB outlet, or existing phone charger you're packing anyway. I think I still prefer the prior head style - smaller round heads, rather than larger hex heads. In the past I've bought more expensive 9000 series, but in reality, you need replacement heads every three years with any model, so there is no point committing to a model that requires more expensive heads, as you can't really discern any closer/faster shaving. I use and love a separate Philips/Norelco sideburn trimmer (one-inch wide flat head), so the in-built pop-up trimmer on this shaver is not quite as good as the dedicated/separate product, for any fiddly work, but this one is fine for just trimming side-burns for cleaner look after a shave. I would recommend this 7200 model over other models, primarily as best-value of Philips Norelco shavers that use LITHIUM rather than Nickel battery.

Review: I wasn't aware that this shaver came with an app! Apparently, the app tracks the motion you use to shave and makes suggestions so that the shaver will work more efficiently. The instructions say that this takes at least 30 days, so I will update my review and let you all know how it goes, but compared to my 2000 series shaver, this seems to be a little faster, sharper, and cuts a tiny bit closer. It's still not on par with a wet blade, but it's just fine for everyday use. I do wish that Philips Norelco used USB-C charging, because that would make life much easier.

Review: Me gusto la rasuradora, se ve de muy buena calidad, los materiales se sienten bien construidos, además se ve elegante y fácil de utilizar, solo es mencionar que esta rasuradora no incluye la base ni el estuche de viaje, solo viene en la caja: - La rasuradora - Un cable de corriente - Una tapa - Un cepillo chico para limpiezaSin embargo por el precio considero que no es necesario el estuche de viaje, la otra versión que si lo contiene cuesta casi 1000 pesos mas, y esos estuches se pueden conseguir muy económicos, aunque no es problema si lo pones en tu maleta de ropa, no se daña.La carga si es muy rápida, en solo 40 min tenia cargada toda la batería, me agrada el modo de solo cargarlo 5 min y ya tienes batería para una rasurada, es algo que lo distingue de los modelos inferiores.En general se me hace un buen producto, de muy buena calidad y muy recomendable, sobre todo por el precio y las prestaciones que te da.

Review: Bought this shaver as a Xmas gift for my hubby to finally replace his old (like 15-16 yrs old!) Philips shaver. After more than month of daily usage, hubby gave me a green light for 5-star review and recommendation for other gentlemen. He said that he enjoys it so much that he is too lazy now to "manually" shave which he really liked to do 🙂
