Title: dinner rolls with melted butter so good
Review: I love fresh homemade dinner rolls with a wonderful meal and lots of butter to go with them. This book has some wonderful recipes for all kinds of dinner rolls. The cheesy dinner rolls are one of my favorite. But the potatoe roll is fantastic too. It's just up to you to decide for yourself which ones you enjoy best. Thank you and enjoy your meal and enjoy your day.

Title: Heavy on Technique, Short on Recipes
Review: There are some good photographs included in this book on some of the fancier types of rolls and it really is more of a resource for ideas on baking and shaping techniques than a recipe-filled cookbook. There are several recipes for basic types of rolls, but many of the example rolls shown use a commercial roll mix for which there are numerous outside links to their website for purchase. I do not like when books push a hard sell on me. Having a list of references or sources at the end of the book is acceptable, but embedding links to outside commercial sites every few pages is not.The recipes that are included are suitable for beginners to get started and have enough variations for variety including white, whole wheat, cheesy, and Parker House rolls. Several recipes call for dough conditioner, but I've found this to be an unnecessary ingredient for these types of yeast rolls, and it can be omitted without causing a problem with the final product. The big winner for me is the step-by-step instructions on how to shape a Kaiser roll. I've always cheated and used a press that embosses the top of a round with the classic indentations. Now I can try to do it the "real" way.Other topics include how to make a Butter Flake style of roll and using an outdoor grill to bake rolls. The formatting could use some tweaking. The author chose to use a border around several pages and the table of contents, but they do not display well on all Kindle devices.A color display device would be helpful for seeing the detail in some of the step by step photographsModerately recommended for those wishing to experiment with home baking or would like ideas on baking techniques.

Title: How To Bake Our Bread Mixes & 7 Real Scratch Roll Recipes
Review: Mostly Advertising For Bread mixes mingled with 7 real recipes with ingredients. I received this book for free and I'm glad I didn't pay for it as Part 1 gives 12 names of roll bread mixes and tips for making them but not the ingredients-but you get links to buy the bread mix at Prepared Pantry.Part 2 gives you 7 roll recipes which is nice, but I feel like the first priority is to sell me products and not so much to share recipes. Maybe if the author put the recipes in Part 1 I might feel like the reader was the priority. I went to one of the links in the book and under recipes--many of these techniques used to be free on their website (http://www.preparedpantry.com/blog/roll-recipes/?_route_=Recipes-Breads-Rolls.htm#).The author includes some photos which helps show some techniques. This ebook seems like an advertising tool to me to get you to their website to buy bread mixes. A better title might be How to use Our Bread Mixes & 7 Real Recipes.

Title: Not very helpful, very few recipes.
Review: Title sounds helpful but most of the book is full of links to outside sources selling baking mixes and links to walmart to buy different ingredients. Some recipe, when you finally find them have instructions like " make according to bread machine" and "make according to box".
