Title: Very heavy and well-made.
Review: This review is for a Muëller 6qt cast iron enameled Dutch Oven in red.1. I was not given any incentive for this 5- star review, nor do I know the seller in any way2. Note that I just opened the box and have not yet used the item. I carefully inspected it for flaws.I've never paid this much for any pan,so was apprehensive, considering that there are several much more expensive versions out there. Purchased on Prime Day for $59.21 which includes tax. Received the very next day.It's gorgeous! Looks very high- quality. Extremely heavy so you know it's cast iron under the beautiful enamel finish. Cannot wait to use it!

Title: Love it!
Review: I looked at Le Creuset & Staub but just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much when this one had such great reviews AND had the gold hardware on top (excellent choice). The color is also gorgeous!I made chicken gnocchi soup in it tonight and it turned out wonderfully. I loved only needing to dirty one pot, and the heat distribution was incredible. I didn’t even have to turn my gas burner on high to get a rolling boil going.I love it and look forward to my next cooking adventure with it.

Title: Soup Season
Review: Ya know those memes about being an adult, the ones about the favorite burner and pan. WELL this is my new favorite soup making tool. While it may have still been 90 degrees outside I had a hankering for tomato bisque, all the recipes talked about having a Dutch oven, one thing I did not have. Enter Amazon and the hunt began. The color, the quality, the size, EVERYTHING I needed. 12/10 makes your soup taste better.

Title: A Perfect Gift
Review: I bought this cast iron pot as a gift for our housekeeper. She loves when I make sourdough bread and I set her up with this, as well as all the necessary items to make the bread. This pot is really well made and a heavy gauge cast iron. It comes very well packaged. I would recommend this pot to any one looking for an inexpensive alternate to that VERY expensive French brand.

Review: This is a heavy pot that stews and simmers very well. It keeps the heat well and food turned out delicious. The size is perfect for me. Even though it says it’s dishwasher safe, the preferred method for cleaning is handwashing. And the instructions say to dry it immediately. So far I’m loving it. Will post an update if the enamel coating chips.

Review: I bought this to make homemade bread. I was looking for a dark blue but not one of 100s of dollars. This dutch oven is a great price for high quality craftsmanship. It does say not to heat while dry but I have not had problems doing that too preheat the oven for bread making on parchment paper. You won't regret this purchase!

Review: This is exactly as described. I really did my research before buying it. At the time it was on sale at a great price compared to others. I looked at all the well known and expensive Dutch Ovens but surprisingly this one had better reviews in which more people were happy with their purchase. I haven’t had chance to use it yet but the quality is excellent. Having read a helpful review by a previous buyer I did purchase the Lodge pot protectors for $6.33 here on Amazon. They fit and are a great idea since it will help to vent the pot when it’s been cleaned and stored. The actual enamel looks great and the outer red colour is perfect. It is heavy but that’s to be expected. I’m really happy I ordered it and I’m looking forward to using it for many years to come.

Review: I'm still waiting to try this out but I did a very thorough inspection of this Dutch oven and could not fine a single flaw either on the enamel inside or outside. I'm so glad I didn't think I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get a good Dutch oven. I know this is going to be perfect for my main reason for buying a Dutch oven and that's for cooking soups and stews. When I get a little more adventurous I'll try other dinners. The pot and lid fit well and are pretty heavy but manageable for me. I did purchase a package of 6 rubber clips that fit over the edge of the pot to protect nicks on the enamel after placing the lid onfrom after use. They allow air to circulate and reduce rusting I bought the clips on Amazon. The cost was very minimal. I think, $ 6 or soThe package the clips came in showed for a Lodge Dutch oven make but they fit and work well on my Mueller. I was a little surprised they were not include with the purchase of this Dutch oven but I'm glad these clips fit fine and not expensive. The lid fits well and does not slide around wjith the clips in place as they are made of rubber. I would recommend this Muelker cast iron enamel Dutch ovenI'm looking forward to creating some soups and stews this winter with it and recommend the Mueller brand for an enamel Dutch oven
