Title: Great iron - lots of steam when you need it.
Review: I like this iron, but I don’t love it. I’m finicky, so my complaints might be considered minor, but none the less I think they’re valid. First the good qualities; The mix of settings is very nice. Temperature settings are accurate. The iron is well balanced, and the sole plate is flawless. The tip is also good for getting into tight spots. Filling the water reservoir is a breeze and I like that it has a flapper style door to seal the reservoir. Aesthetically, I like the color, BUT it does hamper the ability to see how much water is in the reservoir. Now for my chief complaint - this iron uses a lot, and I do mean copious amounts, of water. Even at the low end of the steam setting I find myself filling up the reservoir after a couple of items. This excessive amount of steam leads to a lot of water droplets on the floor as you work your way around an item of clothing. Turn up the steam setting on this baby and you’ll quickly learn the meaning of the word sweatshop.

Title: My husband loves
Review: My husband Irons, his clothes every day lol so he’s very particular with his ironsIt has a good weight, works well and great steam function. I think the only small thing was we wish the cord was just a bit longer. Not nosey, it does have auto shut off but haven’t tried always unplugged after use. Overall great iron quality.

Title: Impressive Steam Iron
Review: I bought this to replace an older Rowenta steam iron which started leaking after many years of use. Am very pleased with this Rowenta model: it heats up very quickly and emits powerful steam bursts.

Title: Works better if you read about how to use the anti-calc features
Review: This is my third Rowenta. I don’t love ironing but I dislike it less by using a good Rowenta iron and a sturdy ironing board. I previously had a Rowenta that was spitting rusty water and spitting a lot of white lime particles out, so I decided to retire it and purchase the Everlast Anti-calc iron.I use plain old tap water as directed by Rowenta (instructions say to fill up with regular tap water - not any scented or distilled water). The first time I used the Everlast Anti-calc, I let it run out of water when I was done, then I pressed the steam and spray buttons to make sure there was nothing left and I also dumped it out over the sink. Thought that was sufficient to keep it cleaned out.I was so surprised when a half-week later I plugged it in and it immediately started spitting white particles out of the soleplate. I’ve included pictures of the particles on a shirt and stuff on my finger that was in the anti-calc chamber after just one use. Ugh! – I shouldn't have white flakes on a shirt I'm ironing on the second appliance use - this is why I got a new iron! So afterward, I re-read the instructions, a bit more closely this time. Here's some information that may be helpful to you:When you’re done using it, after unplugging and pouring off remaining water like you’re supposed to, flip the steam setting between opened and closed several times to prevent the valve hole into the steam chamber from scaling or backing up. You can also clean out the limestone collector and run the anti-calc features and they will help keep the iron clean. You can clean out the limescale collector in the base of the iron very easily (When the iron is completely cool, at least an hour after use, just twist the lever a quarter turn and pull down on the chamber and rinse it out). If you live somewhere with very hard water like me, you may need to clean that chamber out all the time. You can also use the Anti-calc function to flush the dirt and scale out of the steam chamber of the iron itself by filling with tap water to max, heating the iron to 3 dots, with the steam feature turned on. Unplug, hold the iron horizontally over a sink, and move the stem lever to the anti-calc position. Water with any particles should start coming out of the iron within a few seconds. After about a minute, move the iron back to the steam position, plug it back in and allow it to heat up until all water is evaporated. Unplug, let it cool down and then wipe the soleplate down.Once I read the instructions and figured out how to do these additional steps, ironing has been better for me. In addition to regular cleaning, just don't keep water in the iron between uses and your iron will perform better. As far as features on the iron I like and dislike:Filling it can be a pain. I fill the iron up using a small spray bottle with about a nickel sized opening. It works well and I don’t spill water that way. Others have complained about the water fill level being too hard to see but I don’t have a problem with that.Overall, I like the size and shape of the iron’s soleplate. It heats up quickly and glides over laundry easily. Its similarly lightweight to the other Rowenta's I have owned and has similar amount of steam features. What would make this iron better is a separate little piece of paper or some instructions on the outside of the box saying how to get rid of the particles instead of the information being buried in hard to read directions in the instruction pamphlet. (Why have features if no one will read about it to use them?)

Title: Broken out of the box. UPDATED 11 13 2023
Review: I read lots of negative reviews about Rowenta irons but the positives heavily outweighed the bad ones so I took a shot and invested in what I hope to be a great steam iron. It was delivered today and I was so excited to get it out and try it! I took it out of the box and the prongs on the power cord were bent out of place. No problem. I was able to bend it back so it would fit in the outlet. I added some water, plugged it in, and turned it on. I let it heat up for a moment and then began to iron a black cotton poplin shirt to test it out. As soon as I tipped the iron to horizontal, the steam kicked in and blew white chunks all over the black shirt. Concerning as I've literally never used this iron and I bought it NEW on Amazon. Whatever. I brushed the white bits away and ironed the shirt. It irons great! Very easy and smooth. I did notice a strange smell. A very heavy plastic smell, almost like melting plastic but it could just be the "new" iron smell? It's a little heavier than my previous iron but I wanted that so it's not a problem for me. After I iron the shirt successfully, I take a closer look at the knobs and various writing printed on the plastic and I discover that there are cracks in the plastic right out of the box! It also looks dirty like there is dust or something on it. Seriously?! I'm not sure if this is a Rowenta issue or if this is an Amazon issue but I'm getting a replacement sent out asap. If the replacement isn't immaculate, it's going back and I will order it from Williams Sonoma. The only reason I ordered from Amazon was because of the free prime shipping. I'm happy to buy from Williams Sonoma and pay $48 for shipping if it means I won't be getting a used/broken item.I will post an update when the replacement iron arrives.Update 11/13/2023The replacement iron has been great for the last 11 months. It just started leaking copious amounts of water from the reservoir and cord junction. Rowenta customer service is reviewing my proof of purchase and will hopefully send a label for it to be sent out for repair. I will be without an iron for 4-6 weeks according to the person I spoke with so now I have to buy an iron to hold me over while this one is being repaired. I iron a couple days a week so it's my only option. I am completely dissatisfied with Rowenta. All of the negative reviews are true and I will never order another Rowenta product. The customer service rep also said that the repair is only covered under warranty until the original end date of the initial warranty which is 12 months from the initial purchase. When I get it back, even the repair will be out of warranty and if the repair is substandard, I will be out of luck. For $130, I would have expected the iron to last longer than 11 months. For about $12 per month, you can lease an iron from Rowenta! It's like Netflix but for small appliances! Give me a break!Rowenta is trash.

Review: If your priority is getting wrinkles out, then you will be amazed with the steam power. I will say the same thing as other reviewers -- that the dial is an awkward place and challenging to read, that the water level is difficult to see and I will add that I miss having an easy on/off button ... this device turns on when it is plugged in. It is also a tad heavy, but it works really well at getting the creases out and maintaining steam, and the heft helps with that. Overall, it's around the same size as my previous iron, but performs much better and is made in Germany. It almost makes ironing fun. 😉

Review: Iron became faulty just 3 months after purchase with very minimal usage. Repair centre said this voltage is not meant for SG usage and can’t repair. Waiting for seller to get back on a solution to repair the iron.
