Title: Great vacuum. Works and easy to maneuver.
Review: the first one of these we purchased, we had for 14 years. This is the best vacuum cleaner we have ever had. Our old one gave out and we were very happy this model was still available. Easy to maneuver. Easy to maintain and discard of dirt and dust. I remove the dirt and dust outdoors as this machine really picks up a lot of debris; dirt, dust, pet hair, etc. Very durable and long life. Thank God they still made this model!

Title: A smaller vacuum, but powerful
Review: After reading many reviews, I decided to buy the Shark NV501 Rotator Professional Lift-Away Upright Vacuum with HEPA Filter. I was dealing with a flea infestation, and my 15 year-old Bissell was on its last leg, so it was time to get a new vacuum cleaner. After unboxing & assembly, I was surprised at the size--it's about 1/3 smaller than my previous vacuum, so each push covers a smaller surface area. However, its suction is impressively powerful, and the smaller overall size w/swivel steering make it easier to maneuver and work with. It's also nicely designed; pulling the hose handle to do corners is easy, as is removing the debris container to empty it. The HEPA filter is VERY effective; it doesn't put dust or carpet odors into the air, and I no longer have to wear a mask when vacuuming--it's really that good. I also like the lights that shine on the floor, so you can see the carpet when using it. I've used it approx. 20 times at this point, no problems so far.

Title: Definitely my new first choice.
Review: I’ve never taken the time to write a review before but I decided I needed to for this vacuum. To start, I hate cleaning, period. I do it because I don’t like a messy house but I absolutely dread having to clean. When the vacuum arrived I was excited because it’s something shiny and new for the house. The box was in great condition and it was a speedy delivery and arrived before it was supposed to. I opened the box and everything was individually wrapped and well padded which made me happy. I started unwrapping and didn’t even look at the instructions to put it together because it was that easy(I did check the instructions after to find that I put it together right). In the box along with the vacuum we’re the crevice tool, the dusting brush, the straight suction floor nozzle and the upholstery tool. The straight suction floor nozzle fits all the way under my couch and my recliner which makes it much easijer to clean. Second, my one year old son is deathly afraid of vacuums and when I turned this on he didn’t even flinch. He just sat there and watched it because it’s not super noisy like most vacuums. He was ok as I went toward him slowly with it and didn’t scream like normal which made me one happy momma. Third, I have mostly hard floors and only two carpeted rooms in my house and I started vacuuming with the brush roll off and was just absolutely amazed by what it picked up, and by that I mean everything. This vacuum picked up all the dirt and crumbs and even the goldfish that were underneath the high chair. We also have an abc floor mat and I went over that and it again picked up everything. So I went ahead and vacuumed the living room, dining room and kitchen with no problems. I didn’t have to unplug and move outlets because the cord was long enough to reach all of it. I looked at the dirt on the floor of the mud room from everyone walking in and out and then looked at the vacuum and continued on and it picked up all of it no problem. I went to empty it and there is a latch at the bottom and top of the dirt compartment which made it so much easier to empty and I didn’t have to get my hands dirty. After that I turned the brush roll on and went to vacuum the two carpeted bedrooms (which had been vacuumed the night before) and to my surprise it picked up so much. I thought the carpets were clean but on no, the shark rotator changed my mind about that one! By the time I was done the dust cup was about half full. My old vacuum definitely wasn’t doing the job correctly. Finally, the vacuum basically pulls it’s self along the carpet so I didn’t have to fight with it to move or turn because it goes so easily. With this vacuum I don’t have to work to clean my floors and it’s a whole new type of clean in my house. It takes maybe 20 minutes to do my entire house which is astonishing. Before it would take me 40 minutes with sweeping and wrenching my old vacuum across the floor. Thank god for someone recommending this vacuum for us when we were talking about getting a new one. I will be sticking with this vacuum for life if I can.**Update time!It's been almost a year and a half that I've had this vacuum now and it's still amazing! The suction has never failed me and it still picks up like a pro. I still amaze people with how much it can pick up when they watch my now 2 1/2 year old make a mess and me grab the vacuum to clean it up. I've convinced 3 other people to buy these and they absolutely love their vacuum and swear by it now too. I still 100% recommend this vacuum to anyone that mentions buying a new vacuum. Still worth every penny.

Title: It sucks (the good way) but does have some sucky features
Review: I’ve now had this vacuum for more than two months and use it on average 3 times per week.Pro’s: this vacuum has great sucking power. I also really enjoy how well the head swivels. The suction control ring is also nice when you’re trying to vacuum things like door mats and smaller rugs. The self-cleaning “brush” roller does seem to work great. I have a long-haired cat who sheds like the devil, and in the past, our loose hair together would quickly compromise past machine’s brush rolls. This one is staying clean like a champ - which is really what enticed me to buy it to begin with. So big win there!Now, the CONS: The cord really is pretty short. I saw someone else mention this, but I thought surely it was long enough to quickly vacuum my small studio apartment (750sqft) without changing outlets… and I was wrong. I actually have to unplug it twice to clean all of my floors. That’s not the biggest deal but my last vacuum had a much longer cord.Another big disappointment is I’m not entirely sold on the detachable hose/bucket construction. I actually rarely will take the bucket and hose off the wheeled base because it’s cumbersome and kinda pointless. Instead I’ll take the hose attachment off and vacuum in small nooks and crannies… but unfortunately the vacuum isn’t balanced well enough and it almost always falls over, even when I try not to stretch the hose too far. The big frustration with this is that it always falls on me since that’s the direction the hose is being pulled in. And it slams into you pretty hard due to the balance being wonky. It actually scraped and cut my elbow earlier tonight, which was rude. A couple other disappointments is that the brush housing is a bit bulkier than my last vacuums, so I can’t get it under the edges of furniture as easily… and to be honest if they were going to make it bulky like this, I wish they’d at least added a “sweep” light for better vacuuming visibility. My last note is just that the filters on it are just two layers of foam. Not quite as durable nor as easy to clean/dry as some of the filters on my past vacuums.Overall this is still great machine for the price… but after a couple of months using it these cons do routinely disappointment me when in use. Definitely a great machine and reliable, but if you’re used to smaller profile vacuums, this may take some adjustment.

La solucion a esto como usuario es de sencillamente quitar dichos accesorios pero, lo practico es tenerlos siempre cercanos a uno !!

Review: So far I've been happy with it. It picks up cat litter with a lot less scattering than my old vaccuum and is pretty good at getting stuff at the edges of walls and in corners. The hand tools have good suction unlike my old vaccuum. The lift away canister feature is handy. I do find it feels a bit heavier to use than my old vaccuum because the full weight tilts forward onto the handle when vaccuming instead of the canister balancing on the base, but it does a good job.
