Title: They're affordable and get the job done!
Review: Recently, my desktop's internal speaker stopped working a couple days ago. The only way for me hear audio was to plug in earbuds or use Bluetooth.I was looking for a simple pair of replacement speakers that wouldn't break bank too much and I came across these. It took a little bit of tinkering, but they do indeed work. All you need to do is plug it in the USB slot and plug the speaker cord in the green slot.They're relatively small and easy to carry around when you need to transport them somewhere else and the sound level is pretty good.I'd say if you're in the market for a cost-effective pair of speakers, try this out.

Title: Great set of speakers at a good price
Review: My speakers crapped out last week on me. Honestly, I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a new set. Found these speakers on amazon and looked at the reviews - almost 5 stars. I ordered them and paid little over $15 total. They are quite solid and heavy which I did not expect (pleasantly surprised) and appear very well made. They were super easy to set up in literally less than a few minutes and the sound is very good (better than the expensive pair I did have). So far, very happy with this purchase.

Title: Just think of it as what a laptop speaker should sound like from the factory
Review: I set out to purchase these speakers because I didn't want to assault my ears anymore all work day with headphone/earbuds anymore. I also wanted:1) It to be powered by one of the available USB ports on my laptop and not have to have a wall power supply since my desk is cluttered as it is with other wires. This uses a USB A plug, so the power levels will be low. At 2W per speaker, don't expect miracles with bass.2) Compact footprint since my desk is already cluttered and these are about the most compact ones available.3) Be a sonic upgrade from my tinny, harsh-sounding LG Gram 17" laptop speakers. I didn't want a single-piece soundbar, but two separate speakers that I could space apart to the left and right of my laptop.4) Not spend much.I'm so happy with the purchase of these super affordable speakers. If you have a high-quality music source and a DSP/equalizer app like DTS:X Ultra (free download) that you're willing to spend seconds setting, the sonic experience is excellent as long as you're not greedy for bass. There's nice detail and there's lush mellowness akin to my Denon HEOS 7 and none of the harshness of my laptop speakers. The styling and bonus mood lighting are a real bonus that they didn't have to do but did.These speakers are best for talk, dramas, classical, orchestral, not-bass-heavy rock heard at modest to moderate volumes in a quiet room. These speakers are not good if you want to hear bass-heavy songs like some EDM or hip-hop or hear rumbling action in shows/movies. The lower bound frequency range is 80 Hz, so it won't capture the deepest bass. Upping the bass in the EQ won't help either. With bass-heavy songs, turning up the volume gets you a numb and anemic representation of what the rumble/thump is supposed to be. If you enjoy lots of bass with still a compact package, you're better off with a USB-C style mini-speaker like the Creative Pebble may be a better choice, and the v3 is about twice the price of these Amazon Basics speakers. If you're not bass-hungry, the low-end will be fine. THINK OF THESE SPEAKERS AS DELIVERING SOUND THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE CASE FOR THE FACTORY LAPTOP SPEAKERS.There is no bluetooth connectivity, but you want a headphone jack wired connectivity for best results anyways.SUGGESTION: On a typical desk the sound is aimed at tummy level. When I angle these speakers toward my ears, the mid-high frequency sonic experience improved significantly. This is no surprise since it's well known high frequencies audio travel in beams while low frequencies radiate in all directions. The Creative Pebble speakers are angled up. If for a couple to a few bucks more, they could incorporate an angle adjuster or just have a fixed tilted angle, that would be awesome.4-STARS OVERALL if under $17. 3-STARS IF BETWEEN $17-$22.

Title: Great for Price - Don't Hesitate to Buy Used
Review: Got two pairs from both my sons computer desks. Took a risk and purchased used for about $10 each. Both speakers came in immaculate condition and work just fine.Speakers don't good bass which should be obvious. If you need something to feel lower frequencies get a 2.1 system. These sound bright and are great for kids playing games or even people needing background music or phone calls.

Title: So Impressed by the Speakers!
Review: Ok, I'm not using these as a home theater. Just for my office. But I listen to music, world news videos and audio, and movies at lunchtime, and I can say WOW!!! They sound great. Great clarity and low-end sounds from these little speakers. I also have to say they also look great. Love, love, love! You can have them exposed, or hidden due to their compact size. Also love the dim light it gives off. Will be buying these for myself, as gifts. Such a great value!

Title: Read before buying
Review: This is a update review. Speakers work great. However the bass is super strong so you will have to adjust them within a equalizer on the computer. For people who don't have a equalizer on the their computer like me it, is okay. Download FXSound and you can adjust the speakers from there. Took me a while but after I adjusted the drivers as default and played with the equalizer the sound is great for the cost. I know it seems like a lot but it's way easier then you think. Amazing for gaming btw

Title: Worth Every Penny - Plus So Much More
Review: I've had the same computer speakers attached to my desktop computer for the past ten years. They worked, so I didn't see any reason to purchase new ones. However, when my computer finally died, and I needed to purchase a new one, my old speakers didn't work well with the new computer, and I needed to find something that did, since I use speakers with my computer on a daily basis. I wasn't picky about the brand and the Amazon Basics Stereo 2.0 Speakers came up on my Amazon search, and at the offered price I couldn't say no. From the moment that I plugged them in to my new computer and tested them out, I was hooked. The sound quality was outstanding. I could hear every voice and sound coming clearly through these new speakers. There is also an in-line volume dial, that allows you to control the volume manually, or you can set that dial, and then control the volume through your keyboard and/or computer screen. I am very impressed with the sound quality and small size of these speakers. They are worth every penny, and come with a sound quality that is worth so much more than I paid. Highly recommended!

Review: This was to replace my work speakers that would crackle when I'd turn the volume knob, buzz if I had my phone too close to it, and the sound wasn't linear. This thing is good, small, crisp, linear volume. Good bang for the buck. I don't need any bass since it would carry through the wall that I share with a colleague. I don't need the blue light but I can't turn it off, but it's not worth taking off a star for.
