Title: Great Price...Ease of Use...Quality, For a Premium Cup of Coffee!!!
Review: There were many considerations to purchase the Cuisinart SS-10 Premium Single Serve having owned a self grinding machine for 15yrs., but not the only factor in considering other brands. Did a lot of research before purchasing. Have low cabinets & this unit is the shortest in it's class. Easier to directly fill the reservoir with out removing, as well lifting the brew head with plenty of clearance to place coffee capsule. Pleasant blue led buttons & control panel that is easy to see & understand. A previous major brand had a poor visual screen that we struggled reading until over time memorized settings with not really being able to see them well. A complete pain especially for guest. Appearance not bulky, great design eye appeal, combination of silver, black chrome. Others dull black. Simple note: the water reservoir blue led soft hue makes the water appear pleasantly pure & the use of charcoal filter for those who don't use distilled water. Noticed in reviews about splashing on counter not uncommon on many competitors. Yes it did if your cup is pushed all the way to the back. Solved 99% by pulling to front edge of drip plate dispersing beverage center of cup. Size, Beautiful Appearance, Readable LED Panel, Simple Symbols & Ease Of Use, Accessible Hidden Reusable Filter Compartment. Easy Self Clean Flow Thru, Timers, Safety Features, Sturdy Construction, Low Priced Premium Unit & Most of All A great Cup Of Java. We feel They are steps ahead of competition. Would like to see Cuisinart add a raised cup platform similar to what Hamilton Beach did raising the cup closer to drip nozzle or some other great idea always meeting the challenge. Cuisinart once again has not disappointed putting a lot of thought into customer use. Thank You!

Title: A review from someone who had the SS700 and now has used the new one long enough to share
Review: I'm writing this after having had brewed a good 100 cups of coffee with it. My history is I had used the old larger version of this. I went through a brewer around 2013, was in the 2yr warranty and got it replaced no charged by cuisinart as the pump wasn't doing well. Then I bought another before they went to the new model currently offered and unfortunately it started to just not handle the new cups, I was getting half cups of what I wanted. So I decided to retire the old coffee maker and saw alot of reviews from people like myself who at first glance probably were not happy with the changes. I loved my old version but as a lot of times happens, the old equipment eventually goes bad and you can't repair them.Out of my own curiosity to what changed with this new version, I took it a step further on my old version to see what was inside the bigger version. The old version had a water tank, it was amber almost like some synthetic plastic/glass with heating elements like an electric water heater. it had to heat up, pressurize and pump. Over time this heat in a tank and plastic parts and let's be honest just ok air pump and water pump it starts to fail over time. I think I got lucky with a good 5 years and probably 2000 cups dispenses. I drink a lot of coffee daily! The new version is a smaller footprint. The tray is much smaller. What is different with this design is the new version has no water storage tank inside, now it runs the water to the k-cup, while that water is getting to the k-cup, it goes through a heating coil. This is much different and hence why it pumps slow and is smaller. I think the cup brew is hotter and better flavor that the old unit. The top cap to press down on the k-cup is improved in my opinion to ensure a tight seal and pump. Engineering seems better for ensuring a good outcome with the cups. I'm ok with that. If that means that there is less scaling and water tank issues and pumps failing this works.Same problems as the other unit with filling larger travel mugs. You have to brew into smaller cup then pour into your travel mug. Not a huge deal to me.The water tank no longer has a blue led light to blink when it's getting low. The tank is different designed, the charcoal spot is different how it seats but I have no idea if it's better or similar. The tank is a little smaller but I probably get 5 large coffee brews before I refill it or I just refill a water cup while it's brewing. So far so good. The warranty experience in past model I had was excellent. I don't know if I'll need it but last time cuisinart took care of a brewer that had failed me. I would expect the same experience should I need it.I'll come back if something changes but so far it's been a good replacement. I don't know if anything will ever be perfect but cuisinart makes a good k-cup brewer. If you are trying to figure out the best k-cup brewer, I can attest to 10+ years of this brand and alot of cups brewed. It's a good machine!

Title: Nice K cup coffee brewer
Review: First off let me say we love the brewer, we have had numerous issues with the Keurig brand and finally said "NO MORE" to them, I found this one for almost 70 dollars off due to they said it was used, No one had ever actually used it, but they probably received it damaged ( see picture) I did find the little piece in the box and I can glue it back on ( fingers crossed ).. anywhooo, the brewer works great! I tried to brew some hot water before priming the machine, duh.. read directions! lol. after actually doing what I was supposed to do , it works great! I love how nice and hot it gets, 165 degrees, now this can be changed in the menu section, you can also change the default ounces you like to use, it came as 8oz but we like 10oz so I changed that. It's not any lounder then the keurig's we've had. Would I buy this again? YES, yes I would. Oh, I did see some people thought the water contain on the side might be a issued taking it off and on, LOL..NA... I'm 65 with arthritis in my wrist and fingers. easy peasy... I gave it 5 stars even though it's a little nicked. I don't care! I just want a machine to make my coffee and it does that nicely..

Title: It's sort of loud
Review: I have used a Keurig for years and decided to switch it up. This coffee maker is fine. It does make nice hot coffee, and the coffee seems to be stronger than with the keurig. It is easy to use and the on / off feature works great. The things I don't love: It is sort of loud. The tray at the bottom vibrates. I have tried to make it more secure so it doesn't rattle and have not been successful. The motor is louder than the Keurig too. I also think the mechanism to put the pods in is loud when you close it. It's sort of clunky. So overall, it does its job and makes hot coffee that tastes good.

Title: Makes great coffee
Review: I read many of the reviews and am happy I chose this coffee maker. It is quieter and faster than our old single serve coffee maker. I purchased extra pods on Amazon since we do not like to use the disposable ones. It makes great coffee which can be dependent on water, grounds and the machine. I like that you can set it to make hotter coffee which I do because I add milk. You can also set it to accommodate your cup/mug size. You can fit a 16 oz travel mug under it but keep in mind the max it brews is 12 ounces

Review: I have been a die hard keurig fan but they keep breaking down. This coffee pot is easy to use, seems reliable so far and I love it. The rinse button works great after making many cups of coffee and the hot water runs clear to make just hot water. It's louder and slower than the keurig BUT, it's making a much better cup of coffee. I hope to update in 6 months and still be happy

Review: Everything about this Coffee Maker is wonderful! It is the best coffee pod maker we have ever purchased. Previously we have bought 5 Kurig makers in total since they first came out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A KURIG. Our last one lasted exactly 2 years and then all of a sudden one morning it would not power on. My wife tried everything she knew to try as I was out of town then she called Kurig customer service and they told her to try the exact same things and still it wouldn’t turn on. They then told her there was nothing more they could offer as it was un-repairable and she would need to purchase a new one. It was a $220.00 machine that lasted 2 years. They then said they could offer a 30% off coupon if we bought another one from them. The coupon never did come. As it turned out, we benefited because I found the Cusinart machine on Amazon and it only cost $130.00 delivered. Moral of the story is STAY AWAY FROM KURIG and buy Cusinart. You will not be disappointed!!!

Review: We’ve had two Keurigs so I was leery switching brands - but our last one stopped working and I Loved the look of the Cuisinart. The silver has a classy look - a nice step up from black plastic) and is more compact on our counter. We used to have to pull the Keurig out from under the cabinets in order to give room to raise the pod housing handle. This machine’s handle is flat and spring loaded - it only requires a small lift to open the compartment, so there is enough head room for it to remain under the cabinets when making a cup of coffee. Love the look and compact size! I don’t find it any faster or quieter than a Keurig, but the water filter is a nice touch.

They mention it makes a very good cup of coffee, heats up instantly, and is an excellent choice for all their coffee needs. Some are satisfied with the brew speed and looks. However, some dislike the noise level and disagree on its functionality and build quality.
