Remember when you had clean and quiet portable power? The WEN 3600-Watt Inverter Generator provides clean energy, free of voltage spikes and drops, without all the noise of a regular generator. Produce up to 3600 surge watts and 2900 rated watts of power on gasoline, or connect a propane tank using the tool-free quick-connector for up to 3500 surge watts and 2600 rated watts of power on LPG. The WEN Watchdog CO Shutdown Sensor helps protect both you and your family by automatically turning off the generator if dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected. Our 149cc engine operates at a modest 65 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 3600W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The lightweight 49-pound design makes for easy portability while the ultra-efficient 1.5-gallon tank provides up to 5 hours of half-load run time (or 14 hours half-load run time on a 20-pound LPG tank). The fully-packed panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode switch. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? Easily link up any two WEN inverter generators using a WEN Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) in order to share wattage amongst multiple units. Low-oil and low-fuel automatic shutdown combine with the built-in overload protection and indicator lights to safeguard both your generator and your electronics from damage. And because this is a WEN Product, your inverter generator comes backed by a 3-year limited warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians and a friendly customer helpline. Remember when your generator powered your electronics safely and quietly? Remember WEN.
Dual-fuel design runs on both gasoline (3600 surge watts, 2900 rated watts) and propane (3500 surge watts, 2600 rated watts)
Extremely quiet operation comparable to the sound of a normal conversation according to the US Department of Health and Human Services
Produces clean power to prevent damage to sensitive electronics such as smartphones, tablets and laptops
The WEN Watchdog CO Shutdown Sensor helps protect both you and your family by automatically turning off the generator if dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected
Includes fuel shut-off to help limit maintenance, two three-prong 120V receptacles, one TT-30R RV receptacle, one 12V DC receptacle, two 5V USB ports, a tool-free LPG quick-connector, and a three-year warranty

Title: Unboxing / first time use review
Review: Product received undamaged and was well packaged to prevent damage. Filled with supplied oil and gasoline and generator started on first pull. Completed 8 hour break-in as recommended by manufacturer (3 hours on gasoline and 5 hours on lp). Had no problem running a refrigerator and small window A/C during break-in. Generator ran smoothly and quietly exceeding all expectations. Only complaints are that the oil supplied was 10w-30 which according to the manual can only be used in 0-40F temperatures. Why not supply 5w-30 which can be used in all temps? Secondly according to the manual it will not automatically switch from gasoline to lp (or vice versa) when gas tank is empty. This would be a really useful feature to lengthen runtime. Overall very pleased with purchase, great price on a dual fuel 3000W inverter generator.

Title: 3600-Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generator
Review: Last night around 6:30 the power went out as hurricane Francine was approaching us. Waited half an hour and it looked like it wasnt coming back on so I went outside and got out my brand new Wen 3600 Watt generator that I bought in June. Still had to put the oil in it it was so new. So I put oil in it, gassed it up and fired it up. Second pull it started and smoked its tail off. And then it died and wouldnt restart. Tried the fuel cap and it had a suction sound to it so figured that was it, cap wasnt venting. Restarted it and it still smoked and ran rough. Died a few times and couldnt get it to run long enough to hook up any load to it. By this time I am in a T shirt, joggers with flip flops and soaked to the bone. Its getting dark and weather is getting worse so figured I would look at it in the morning after the storm and went in and dried off.Had some battery camping lights and a radio so I was set for the night and it was cool. Low 70's so me and Jasper my cat chilled while listening to the storm pass us on by. The eye of the storm went right over my house. This morning went out and started the generator up again. It cranked right up and still smoking its tail off. Plugged up the load from my solar system with the chest freezer, fridge and the gen idled way up and took the load. Almost died a couple times but it kept running while still smoking its tail off. Figured ok, lets see what else this smoking pig will take and plugged up the line that had the lights, computer, all the kitchen and living room appliances and it took that load fine. Still smoking but not nearly as bad as it was. So i plugged up a 5000 btu window AC and turned that on high. Damn lil generator took the load just fine. I estimated 2000 watt load on it now. Ok, time to get greedy and got out the coffee maker. That takes about 1000 watts and is a big load on top of everything else but I wanted to see how strong this generator really is. Not even a hick up. Damn thing took the load fine and I opened the door and the smoking stopped. It was sitting there running nice and quietly. At first I thought the generator was going to be pure junk that is way past its return date but I lucked out and its a keeper. It ran for about 4 hours before the power came back on and burned maybe half a gallon of gas. Not bad. Then my girlfriend came and grabbed the little generator to take to a friend that lived next door to her. She had a freezer full of food she didnt want to lose and I had power restored so sure. Girlfriend told me last night she watched her go out around 7 am and gas up my generator, cranked it up and went to work. Around 5 yesterday afternoon the wife said she heard it die so she went over, filled the gas up and cranked it up again. Thing ran 10 hours keeping a freezer and fridge running. Not bad at all on a gallon and a half of gas. At the time of writing this review the generator has around 50 hours run time and runs perfectly. No smoking at all and provides plenty of power. I was able to run a fridge and freezer (500 watts combined) desktop computer and monitor (300 watts) lights and small appliances like router and modems (200 watts) and a 5K btu window air conditioner ( 600 watts) for around 1600 watts combined and then use a coffee maker for another 1K watts which is about 2600 watts total and the generator took the load with no complaints Ran great. Highly recommend!!!

Title: Perfecfor us
Review: We live in Fla. Just got done with second hurricane within a 10 day span. Lost power for only 2 days. This generator was perfect for what we needed. We ran our refrigerator, fans and coffee maker and used the electronics (battieries, iPhone, computers etc. Used the propane. Amazingly long tank life once we learned to use the eco function. I can lift the unit by hand (couldn’t go too far) enough to put it where I needed it. Did an oil change between runs which wa also easy. This is not a whole house generator. It gave us everything we needed to make it in an emergency. (An aside; you will never be totally comfortable in a storm and recovery. You don’t need to spend a fortune to make it.) The comparative price with the performance is very good. Plainly a life saver. Better yet it is made in America by an old line company I had not heard of: Wen.. I needed some help when I first got the unit and they were very accommodating and actually seemed to care……They have a whole list of power tools and battery operated hand tools at a good price. I will buy my next battery operated hand held tool from them. If it has the same quality, they will be my go to.

Title: WOW WOW WOW..... TAKE THAT HURRICANE MILTON
Review: So at first glance you're like okay...this is like the other dozen like it... but its not. This is a portable generator that hits the wattage sweet spot! Is it light...no. But its also not completely unbearable but ...lol its close. Producing 2800 watts base , it did a fantastic job at punching way above its weight class. I have an older but awesome Westinghouse igen4200 that is higher capacity but still was struggling at times to manage the loads...where this one would find the sweet spot in RPM's and just maintain. Think of it like a 3 speed vs. a 5 speed.I'm likely selling my Westinghouse and will buy another Wen 3600 to connect / parallel the two for future slightly heavier loads.MY ONLY COMPLAINT! Is that I use a TT30-L14 adapter to plug into my interlock on my house. The nature of the adapters on the market makes the orientation of the plug upside down which isn't correct for standard NEMA compliance. Could be just my gen or in general. Wen, this caused my adapter to be strained upside down unnecessarily exposing the ground a little awkward. I'll see if I can disassemble and reorient.

Title: Will not stay running.
Review: I unboxed, added oil and after about 4 pulls it started. The CO watchdog light flashed red, it ran for about 10 seconds and turned off. I restarted several times, same thing.

Title: So far so good.
Review: Just fired the unit up for an initial test with propane. Hooked it to my inlet with an adapter and it ran my most critical circuits which included fridge and deep freezer well below 50% load. After break in, I'll increase the load on it to include a portable air conditioner. It was pretty quiet, but I'm only comparing it to my big portable generator. This unit seems like it will make a great backup to my main generator and something to run my camper if we go off grid.
