Title: Cool Bottle. Great Tool.
Review: My previous diet consisted mainly of junk and beer. I'm now retired, and it has become exceedingly clear that I need as much fresh, clean food in me as I can get. The answer I came up with was: 1) ditch the beer; 2) juice raw vegetables, and drink at least 16oz of that juice each day (if not 32oz); and 3) eat a big salad daily, if possible.I like salads, but Im not crazy about them. But I always liked the make-your-own approach of Good Seasons. I couldn't find the lids to my two GS cruets (of course), so I started looking on Amazon, and came across this slick bottle.I just got back from the grocery store where I got a nice variety of vinegars and healthy oils. I already had packets of Good Seasons, so I used that for the spices (why not?), and then used the fill lines on this new bottle (for the Italian recipe) for the liquids. I used a nice red wine vinegar, and about a 50-50 mix of avocado oil and olive oil -- 2 of the healthiest oils out there. (BTW, adding the avocado oil prevents the olive oil from getting all clumped up when it's cold in the fridge. No more having to choose between using not-so healthy oils, and having to let my dressing warm up on the counter for 15 minutes for the good oil to re-liquify.)Think of this bottle as being the next generation GS cruet, because it has 7 more nice recipes printed on the bottle, beyond just Itailian.As for certain other negative reviews, here is my take on those complaints:1. The lid is perfectly fine. If you feel it's a bit on the thin side, it is a rather standard size that other salad dressings and other bottled products are sold with, so swapping it out for a cap you prefer is trivial. I've used other bottles for years with highly similar lids, and they are all doing great.2. If you feel the printing on the bottle is too small, then you need better glasses. The print size is perfectly legible.3. For thinner (less viscous) dressings like Italian, it would be nice to have a plastic insert that makes the pouring hole much smaller. But again, certain store-bought brands have these removable inserts. Simply keep and use one from a spent bottle.But my plan is to pour some dressing into a small (2.4oz) stainless steel condiment cup (sold on Amazon), and carefully drizzle the dressing onto my salad that way.4. There is nothing confusing on how to use the fill lines. Same deal as the GS cruets, only it has 8 complete recipes, not just one. Plus, each lists spices and herbs for each individual recipe. A very nice visual layout.Finally, don't let the handful of naysayers keep you from getting this cool tool to add flavor, fun, and variety to your meals, and fresh, healthy foods to your daily diet.4.5 STARS

Title: Love it so much I ordered 2 more of them!
Review: I started making my own salad dressings and needed something to store them in and take them to work to put on my lunch salads. I purchased one of these bottles. I love the recipe ideas on the side, and they are such a perfect size to take to work. I loved it so much, I bought two more of them. Mine have not leaked, but I am very careful with them. I wash them by hand and keep them upright most of the time. The lids on mine have been fine and have not broken or anything. I do wish there were a seal ring in the cap, but it is fine without it.I also make health shakes that I store in these.It's a great product at a great price! It's also made in the U.S.A.! Can't beat that!Later edit: I have been using the bottles for a while now and thought I should add that they can leak a bit around the cap. I know at least one of my bottles leaks a slight bit if turned on its side.

Title: Glass, durable, long lasting, affordable, & convenient.
Review: We really like our salad dressing bottle. It's glass, which is what we were looking for. I read some reviews at the time of purchase that said the recipes were disgusting. We have not found that to be true. Everybody's tastes are different, but we've found several of the dressing recipes that we like. Plus, if one is accustomed to making their own dressing, they could always adapt it to suit their tastes - although we've not found that to be necessary with our favorites. In addition, it's easier than getting a cookbook out - as a result, my husband now sometimes makes the dressing - which I appreciate. Not much in the way of measuring devices to wash up afterwards either - a definite bonus. Other reviewers said their cap broke or the recipes wore off. We've had our bottle for over 2 years & it's used constantly - we're 3 - 5 times a week salad eaters (made some dietary changes a few years back for health and weight loss purposes & stuck to it), and our lid is still fine. We found a lid from another container & put it in a drawer - just in case. In addition, after frequent hand washing as well as many trips through the dishwasher, the recipes are still very clear. The only thing that's changed is my eyes - I now need reading glasses to read the recipes easily - so, I guess the print shrank, because it couldn't possibly be because I'm getting older 🙂 It's taken a few short drops (onto counters - not drops to the floor) and hasn't broken. We do find that the thicker dressings tend to drip a bit - requiring the bottle to be rinsed before going to the fridge, but I'm not sure that there's a way to design it to prevent that. Very happy with this purchase!
