Title: Great
Review: These 3 year crowns were packaged well. They were very dry when I got them and I was a little worried so I soaked them in water for a bit and then planted as directed. They started to sprout within a few days.I would definitely recommend and buy again. Last 2 pictures are after being planted for 1 month, only 1 did not grow. Now I will pull weeds and put straw down so they don’t have to fight for nutrients and they should be good. It’s not something you just plant and not worry about for the first year.

Title: Incredible!
Review: We seldom write reviews (positive or negative), but felt we had to share our experience with this purchase.To begin, we have a home in Central America ("CA") where we wished to establish a new asparagus patch. So, the order would first arrive to a freight forwarder and then export to our home in CA. This implies 10 days to two weeks total travel time. With that in mind, we purchased these live crowns with the understanding that none may survive (with no fault to the seller) and if half survived we'd be over the moon.Our freight forwarder received the crowns in four days and we received it in CA ten days later. Two full weeks out of the ground in travel could not kill them! They all survived! We planted the crowns the day we received them and overnight we already saw most of them popping up out of the soil. Within three days, all of them were -- and some were already 4" tall! The health and stored energy of these roots are incredible -- far and away above our expectations! Thank you!Last notable comment. As many other reviewers made mention, the seller supplied more than the 10 crowns as advertised. We felt it was necessary to affirm that not only was the quality was above our expectations, but we got more quantity than we paid for. Thanks again.We will definitely be ordering again.

Title: Excellent root stock
Review: I have purchased other asparagus root stock from different vendors, most of them show up looking like they’re a couple years old, but dried out… Very few of them actually did well. All of these showed up great, Even showing new growth …actually budding out on top, all of them are thriving

Title: Definitely Not Impressed
Review: Ordered on May 22, delivered on May 30 and planted on May 31st. Crowns looked healthy but did have little bit of mold starting which should not be a big issue since they were shipped damp. No place in the description does it say these are 2 year crowns. I asked and several people answered that they were 2 year crowns. So I ordered them. I know now why it's not mentioned in the description. They were very small for two year crowns. I'm thinking they are one year crowns. So far only six of the ten have come up (very tiny flimsy stalks and only 3/4 inches of growth) and they have been in the ground for four weeks. It's too early to say they are bad but I certainly am not impressed with the size of the crowns or that only six of the ten have shown any growth. Three years ago I ordered 2 year crowns (from a different seller and a different variety) that were much larger and all of them sprouted new growth in just a week or two. I also see from some of the pictures that some received much larger crowns than I did.A lot of things can come into play when gardening so have not given up on the other four. But, I will probably not order from this seller again unless these crowns perk up and start showing more progress. A lot of people gave five star reviews and that is why I ordered these crowns but I just cannot do that and still feel like I'm giving an honest review on the crowns that I received.

Title: Bare root Jersey Knight asparagus plants
Review: The asparagus roots from this seller were very much alive and well! Not dried up as I’ve previously gotten when bought from the big box stores (which never grew). These were shipped quickly and were carefully packaged and came with very clear planting instructions!The roots arrived on a Friday in the beginning of May 2022 and I planted them on Sunday and within a few weeks (less than 1 month) they all started to grow! I have some pretty nice ferns now.The seller included a couple of extra roots which was so nice of them!I’d buy from this seller again and I’d strongly recommend them!Thank you so much.
