Title: Great vacuum, tips below
Review: This thing kicks butt for the price and the mapping is great, I have a few tips to help you get more out of it that aren’t really obvious at first since I’ve been using it for a few months now:1. THIS ONE’S IMPORTANT: Use “manual cleaning” mode in the app settings before your first run. It will give you manual control so you can drive the robot, and you can drive it around the areas you plan on cleaning. The reason you wanna do this is because it maps the room out as you’re manually driving it around the room, so you can set boundaries/no go spaces without having the robot clean first and get stuck in some annoying spot. Takes about 5 minutes and makes it much simpler.2. Save the map once you finish your first run, in the robot’s settings in the app under Map Management. I’ve only had it forget the room layout once, but I wish I had saved it beforehand, and it doesn’t do this automatically. If you move your furniture around a lot like me this is really important.2.5. If it does forget your map due to the room being too different/getting confused and you forgot to save it, you can use the manual cleaning tip above to get a general room scan before running again to get boundaries set back up.3. Add 1-2 drops of dish soap to the water if you’re using the mop. It helps keep the mop cloth clean and does a better job of cleaning your floor. Just don’t do more than 1 or 2 drops or you’ll get residue.4. If you have a room with a lot of oddly placed furniture or with smaller spaces that get dirty (between the coffee table and the couch for example), you can in the room settings set the robot to clean that room twice by default every run. Helps make sure it gets everything.5. It usually runs very quiet by default, but if you notice it getting noisy randomly and you don’t want that behavior, disable Carpet Boost in the robot settings. Also you can disable the voice entirely (thank the heavens).I’ve tried so many of these and this is easily the best one I’ve used so far. It’s great for pet hair, its genuinely smart, and the app is really powerful especially if you like customizing the map down to the last detail, but honestly most people could just set it and forget it and it would work great.

Title: Fantastic, especially on dark floors.
Review: This robot is fantastic for dark hardwood floors. I installed dark brown hardwood floors 2 years ago. When clean they are beautiful but every speck of dust, lint, pollen screams "dirty floor, dirty floor" to the point I regretted not going with a light color floor. I returned a previous robot vac after a couple weeks. I cleaned pretty good but floors always were left with a fine film of dust very noticeable because of their dark color. This robot has both adjustable vac power and adjustable mop water volume. Perfect to get the light dust or pollen up and leave the floors looking great. I have a cowhide rug, two large woven leather rugs this robot handles either very well and with the mop water setting on low does not put enough water on rug to be concerned with and rug is not left feeling wet. Every robot vac leaves homeowner with some work to do for a completely clean floor on. As picky as I am I have found after 4 robot cleanings the robot is good enough for me. I am estimating I'll be able to go 2 week without the need to touch up from the robot. The only time I cleared the floor of obstacles and rugs was for the first "mapping" recording. It mapped great. Then I put all rugs and other things back in place and since then the vacuum has handled everything great.Seriously does a far better job then the 2023 consumer report #1 robovac I gave to my daughter last Christmas.

Title: Vacuum is a 5, WiFi Setup is a 1
Review: This is a great vacuum, it vacuums and mops at the same time, covers my whole house on a charge, picks up a tremendous amount of dirt and hair, has extra suction on carpets, doesn't get hung up on my anti-fatigue mats in the kitchen, and did a decent job of mapping the house on the first pass. (It takes 2 or 3 to get it really accurate. It also has a lot of features you would only normally see on a more expensive vacuum, so that's nice as well, and it looks like you can purchase dustbin accessories (possibly other accessories as well). That said, if you have ANY kind of LAN segmentation at your house, firewall, use a 5GHz network, etc., this vacuum is a nightmare to set up. I figured it out, but it is VERY particular about the network requirements.WiFi network HAS to be 2.4GHz ONLY, if you're running a dual or tri-band WiFi SSID, you either have to turn your 5/6GHz bands off or create another network.If/when you create your new network, you can't use an Adblocker or any 'local' DNS server, you must use DNS that either your internet provider dishes out, or a public one like 1.1.1.1If you use a firewall, you have to create an ANY-ANY rule for it to reach the required resources to add the vacuum to the app (make sure you disable/delete this rule after setup).Your WiFi password can't contain special characters (I'm not sure if it's specific ones or all of them, but the passwords I use generally have them in there for security) so only lowercase/uppercase letters and numbers. That said, once you add the vacuum to the app, you can edit your firewall rules to block local networks and filter the DNS like you would your IoT network (if that's your thing) and additionally, I turned MAC filtering on the VLAN I put the vacuum on.I couldn't put this on my IoT network because a lot of my devices take advantage of the 5GHz signal and I wasn't willing to kill that band. Even when I did, my password was still too complex for the vacuum, hence all the extra leg work. Most appliances, even those that only run on 2.4GHz can be added to a dual-band WiFi network and just take advantage of the band it requires, but this vacuum doesn't have that capability.UPDATE: Changed to a 1 star rating. After only 2 months, the vacuum will not clean, doesn't pick up any dirt and basically acts like a drunk stumbling around my house. I've reset it, cleaned it thoroughly, re-added to wifi, re-mapped the house and this thing just does not work. Too bad, it was good for a whopping 2 months.

Review: Tikom L9000 has made my house so much cleaner. I have a long haired dog and I used to have to vacuum every day. With Tikom, I no longer have that issue. It picks up the hair, goes under the bed, etc. and gets everything. I tried the mopping function, it works well but not deep clean. Some thing to note (and I'm not sure if this is the same for all robot vacuum cleaners) - if you have a large house, it will take time! You must clean the dust bin every time it is used. It is remarkably simple to set up. Overall, I highly recommend the Tikom L9000.
