Title: SCEPTRE? Never heard of her.
Review: So I decided to walk into a Staples and check out smaller sized monitors one day after a long drive from NYC to NJ. Seriously it's such a hassle to cross a bridge these days. Anyway big mistake. I was expecting more from a customer service rep these days. Nothing in available either. Shocker. Must be a supply chain issue or something. I decided at that point to go home and learn a little about monitors. I got as far as some competitor sites and stopped. I'm using this monitor for small stuff and the occasional highlight video. I grabbed the cheapest one during Prime Days.Great deal on the price and you get what you pay for. It's easy to setup. Basically plug and play with the exception you need to make a small adjustment in your Display settings to scroll over and not mirror. It's pretty good. I tested the picture with different videos. It can get pretty crisp. I watched hockey highlights, baseball highlights, live concert footage, two movies with fast action openers. This monitor isn't half bad. It lacks some crispness at times and the tint is a little off compared to my laptops.Worth the buy if you can get it under $100 with free shipping.

Title: College dorm use
Review: My son loves this monitor. It was as simple as plugging in the USB to connect his laptop to it. Heâs taking some computer programming classes at college and needed more screen space for his projects. The quality is nice and it appears to be very simple to use.

Title: Don't Buy Cheap Monitor
Review: Set up the monitor. 1. has downward tilt, can't be adjusted. 2. Hooked up to computer, turned on and the picture was compressed, about an inch of black across the bottom, and about a 1/4 inch down the right hand side. The display was cut off on the left side of the screen. Made sure the settings were what was recommended, rebooted, no change. Called tech support, he had me go into settings and reset, no change, power off monitor no change. He said it must be the cable that I have to buy a new one and he ended the support session. Cable worked fine on another monitor. Using some adjustments I was able to stretch the display to fill the screen but since you can't use the controls to adjust just a side at a time I still have some of the display cut off, I chose the right side as the start button to access shutdown etc. is on the left side. So I live without the last 2 digits of the year and only half of the M in the time. Now lets talk about the color, I can't get it to be okay. The black looks like a black t-shirt that has been washed 100 times, sure it's still black, but super faded. Red looks like a faded pink, sometimes a faded red with an orangish tint. Despite the description there are no built in speakers and 75Hz is only through HDMI, not the VGA which is all my tower has for video. As a matter of fact it has no HDMI ports. Even though it is a cheap monitor it is not worth the price.
