ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of 280 years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous Study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip designed in Italy by matteo thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS, the company that sets the standard for exceptional cutlery worldwide. The zwilling Pro chef's knife is the workhorse of the kitchen. Whether chopping, slicing, or dicing, the broad blade and comfortable, balanced size will quickly become the go-to knife for everyday tasks.

Title: Excellent 6" Chef's knife
Review: I bought this knife for my wife who has smaller hands and didn't do well with the 8" chef knives. She loves it! Package arrived roughly a week after purchase. The knife itself is super sharp! Be careful pulling it out of the box! We have used the knife a few times already and we're impressed with it. Recommended.

Title: Perfect knife for me but maybe not for everyone
Review: The SHAPE of 6" zwillig pro is the deal maker or breaker. Some reviewers dislike it. I love the scimitar shape. I can stab into a head of cauliflower and then follow through. The weight of the knife assists me so my hands don't work so hard. The 6" blade is manageable for a female or someone with small hands. The beefy blade means I can put my left hand on top of the knife for an extra assist. This isn't standard knife technique but if you have weak hands or arthritis you will know why this helps. If you're used to the rocking back & forth motion for speed cutting, you might dislike this shape. The super wide blade means items adhere to it as you slice. You must pause and remove food from the knife. If I were working in a commercial kitchen this would seem too slow.. I would want that speed cutting. As a home cook I listen to music and relax when I prep, so I don't mind a slower knife. Also, it's beautiful. I like the way it looks on my magnetic knife holder.I bought the 6 inch zwillig pro chef to replace a henkels 8 inch chef I got 42 years ago for my first cooking job. The Henkel knife performed great for 42 years, but when I got arthritis, food prep became painful and dangerous. The new zwillig 6" is a total game changer. It's a beast [in a good way].

Title: Quality but...
Review: I purchases these knowing the reputation of Zwilling knives. I'm satisfied with the knives and their quality. However, my knives were packaged in a way that seemed less than the highly professional reputation that Zwilling is known for. Also some of the original packaging was faded like it had been sit-in in the sun for some time. I'd like to know why and what store is selling this product on Amazon.

Title: Henckles never disappoints!
Review: Excellent handle, excellent blade craftsmanship. I can always rely on Henckles. This blade was properly crafted so as to not have sharp flat areas that can cause pain on your hands when doing long sessions of onion chopping! I've always been a fan of Henckles and will continue to be.

Title: Will be your go-to prep knife.
Review: Have ten Zwilling J.A. Henckels pro grade knives, including some of their more specialized knives. This chubby Chef's Knife is 6" long, a heavy, wide bladed fantastic knife for your culinary prep work. Don't go for the longer blade....it is the smaller blade size, combined with the wider blade width, that makes this a winner. If you like the Henckels Pro series knives....this is a must have.

Title: Needed a little work
Review: This is a very nice knife, and is one of many Zwillings that I own. My only complaint is that it showed up with an uneven edge grind: not the typical 15/15 degree on each side. More like 10/20 degrees. It also had a wicked burr that took a little time to remove. Fortunately, I know how to sharpen knives, so I fixed the uneven grind and removed the burr myself. But a knife this expensive should be ready to use right out of the box. I guess it slipped past quality control.

Review: So much for the laser cut precision angle 15/15 degrees drind - where is the quality control? One side is different from the other. The knife showed up with an uneven edge grind, not at 15/15 degree on each side, but more like 10/20 degrees. Donât waste your money, I hope that I can return it. Not what expected for the price, cheaper knives have better quality control.
