Title: Good for deep frying
Review: I use it to make fried chicken because I was sick of oil flying around everywhere. It’s wonderful. Extremely tall. Might not fit into your dishwasher. Non-stick so no annoying scrubbing. Good quality.

Title: Great pot!
Review: As a pro- home chef, I demand high-quality cookware that can withstand the rigors of daily use in my kitchen. I recently purchased the T-fal Specialty Nonstick Stockpot 12 Quart Cookware, and I must say, I am impressed with its performance. The pot is made of high-quality materials that ensure durability and longevity. The nonstick surface is perfect for cooking soups, stews, and other dishes that require a lot of liquid, as it prevents food from sticking to the bottom of the pot. The 12 quart capacity is perfect for cooking large batches of food, which is essential in a busy restaurant kitchen. What I like most about this pot is that it is dishwasher safe, making it easy to clean and maintain. The pot is also oven safe up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, which allows me to transfer it directly from the stovetop to the oven, saving time and effort. The pot's handle is comfortable to grip and stays cool even when the pot is on the stove, which is essential for preventing burns and injuries. The lid fits tightly, ensuring that heat and moisture stay inside the pot, which is critical for achieving the perfect texture and flavor in soups and stews.I am pleased with my purchase of the T-fal Specialty Nonstick Stockpot 12 Quart Cookware. It is a high-quality product that provides excellent performance, is easy to clean and maintain, and is a great value for the price. I would highly recommend this pot to any chef or home cook who is looking for a reliable and versatile cookware.

Title: Great Pot for the $
Review: The pot is good! For the money it's great! Heat does not transfer to the handles. The volume is great for what I use it for. I cook my dog's food in it weekly. Just pile everything in. Boil it, and good to go. The non stick so far has also been a great feature. Sometimes I leave the food on the burner too long. Food is never burnt at the bottom. The lid doesn't fit without some maneuvering... but again for the cost I wasn't expecting laser fit.

Title: Best value for the money
Review: It's a good pot. I recently bought it for the second time. I fell asleep and burned some beans so bad I thought the pot was ruined 100%. After sitting it outside with some lye in it for a couple of times, each time for about a week, I cleaned it and I was surprised to see that the pot's surface coat still appeared to be intact. Since it was a protein burning (about the worst smell to eliminate and I've been trained in Odor Removal) on a gas stove, I ordered the second one because it's probably not safe to use the burnt one for cooking food anymore, but I was impressed enough to buy a second one. I dropped/it fell, off the stove empty (the first one) and the lid never fit quite right after that is why I'm only giving it a 4 star rating. To me a pot that falls 3 feet on to a linoleum surfaced wood floor shouldn't bend the circumference of the pot to where I have to fight with it for the lid to not sit on it cockeyed. If the aluminum was thicker it might help disperse the heat up the sides better to more evenly cook foods like thick spaghetti sauce, or beans and ham type foods., but the first one, (identical to the second one) did say "stock pot", implying it was for food with less viscosity, so I can't complain, when I i know what I was buying because they told me. (rare these days!)

Title: Better than expected!!!
Review: After reading much on the reviews online for this pot, I decided to order it and hoped that at least it would work as for my needs. What I received went well beyond my expectations for this pot! The finish is well made and the top fits perfectly all the time. There's that metal-chemical smell when you first remove the lid from the pot, as with any type of goods which receives special coatings of protection. After a generous bath in vinegar and another bath in concentrated orange cleaner, the odor is kaput! The pot is tall but not so much as to be hard to cook in the stovetop. Clean up is a breeze and the outside will not hold runs as others. The material in the lid knob as well as the two side handles is not the type used on my T-Fal set, they feel more plastic than rubbery. The pot heats evenly and as expected from non-stick interiors, foods will not cling to the walls or interior bottom. My only complaint would be that the external bottom is hard to clean when spills reach the base, as the grooves are anything but easy to scrub. Other than this minor setback, this is another great product from the T-Fal line which is becoming a classic stamp in our kitchen! If you want your non-stick pots and cooking sets to last, dump every piece of metallic spoons and serving ware that you normally use to cook in your kitchen! We have a set from 7 years ago made by T-Fal which still retains the non-stick abilities like the first day they were unboxed and used! No matter how much they tell you is ok to use metal spoons and stuff, don't!Update! 11/05/2012Man! This is not a "pot" but the "Pot" of pots! What a POT! Still like new after heavy, and I mean heavy use!The problems faced by others must be due to overheating the pot in the first place! Coated pots are NOT to be used with high heat at any given time!Apart from the normal wear from heavy use, the pot is the best value for the money! You won't be sorry if you order this pot!UPDATE!!! 06/07/2013After quite some nice time using this pot, the results are undeniable! The pot is good for the money paid!Again, don't use any metal serving ware or spoons and the coating will remain intact for years.I'm posting a few pictures as an update to the coating inside and outside of the pot, so you can judge on it after almost two years of weekly use. Pictures speak better than words...If your take care of your pot, it will last for a long time in service!Update! 09/10/2015Heavy every other day use and still in good shape! Some scuffs here and there, but still in top shape. It's a very good value for the buck. I'm happy I read as many reviews as I did before I purchased it.The coating is still intact for the most part. The bottom cleaning was hit and miss with many products, until I started to use a bit of baking soda. The lid is just the same as when I got it home. No warping, no residue build up in the inside seam, no lost parts. The handles are still firmly attached and the molding on them still as good as when new.Overall, if you can still find a pot like this, it's well worth the buck. The pictures 6 to 9 are from 09/10/2015!!!Update 05/31/2017!!!!!!!Still the pot of pots!No problems so far ( knock on wood). The coating has faded a bit more as of lately, but its non-stick properties are still there. Just normal wear after so many years of usage.Best por for my money!Pot'o luck!?Update 6/18/2019Still cooking weekly with it!Happy with my purchase!

Title: Works well
Review: This pot works well and I like it. It barely fits in the refrigerator, but it cooks big batches. I’ve cooked soybeans in it and even steamed carrots.

Review: I drink about $80 of soy milk per month. So I wanted to make my own soy milk. By my calculations, would be closer to $5/month if I made it myself.Making soy milk in a stainless steel pot does not work. No matter how careful I try to be (I have literally stirred it nonstop for the whole cooking process), it will always stick to the bottom of the pot, burn or brown heavily, and the batch will taste burnt. This pot is perfect. Nothing sticks, I can scrape the bottom with a silicone spatula once every 10 minutes or so and it's fine. It's super easy to clean. It also is super tall, which makes it great to prevent boiling over, especially if you use it half full, there's a lot of room for foam expansion.I've already made enough soymilk to pay for the pot.The bottom is basically the same thickness as the sides though, so don't expect a heavy bottom pan, but for boiling stuff this doesn't matter, only for searing as far as I know.

Review: The stockpot looked great but warped so much on the first use that the lid doesn't fit anymore. Pretty disappointing..
