Title: Love the telemetry
Review: This is the third "smart scale" I have owned. The first was from Fitbit, and the second was from Eufy. I have never been as delighted with a bathroom scale as I am with this one. I am a data junky, and there is no end to the good data this scale is able to provide. The App is, well, it leaves a little room for improvement, just because the data isnt laid out in the most intuitive way, but that is fixable. The hardware is great.

Title: Start your new year off with a GREAT Scale!
Review: My overall rating is 5 Star based on: (5) Easy to use (5) Set up with app (5) Unit appearance and display (5) Accuracy in reading/consistency (4) Price point and still pending on cardio vascular age reading since it does require 5 days of measurement to give you a reading and I'm posting this review after 3 days of use. I am in the fitness industry and the value to me is in the body fat reading and overall consistency in readings. I had a competitor scale (Weight Gurus) which served me well over the years and was fairly good in it's consistency of readings. As a first impression, it's very well packed and after removing it from the box I noticed that it is a bit heavier than my previous scale so the product appears pretty sturdy and well built. The charging cable included to charge the scale is 6 feet long and USB so I was able to charge it on the floor next to my other USB items. AFTER charging the scale overnight it gave me a full battery life reading in the digital display in the morning. I can't review battery life until I actually have to recharge the scale but from what I read it can be up to year depending on use and I will use it once per day. I downloaded the app to my iPhone 12 and briefly skimmed over the paper instructions on pairing the items. I placed the scale on the counter next to me. Turned the scale on (hold the little button on the side for 3 seconds) and immediately the app kicked in and started the pairing process which was painless. Once paired, I placed the scale in the same spot as my previous scale which is a solid wood, level surface (not rug or over a bathroom mat). Best time for consistent readings is first thing AM but if you can't make that happen, then at least try to make it the same time every day so the readings won't fluctuate wildly based on your daily intake and caloric output. For this review, I actually compared readings side by side with my previous scale and noticed no real discrepancy at all. Readings were very close. The digital display is BIG and easy to read so if you are over 40 you will be happy that you don't need to wear your glasses to see the display as it scrolls through your overall weight, body fat, muscle weight, water, and bone. It even gave me the weather conditions outside since it's connected to wifi. You can change the option/s that are displayed but I was good with that since I start my mornings at 5am and I always check the weather conditions before going outside so I know what training gear is required. Once it completed it's overall body scan, it uploads your stats onto the app which you can then read through and compare on a daily or weekly basis. At least as far as apple products, results of your scale are posted onto the Apple Health app which is great since I use MyFitnessPal and I also have an Alexa Amazon T-Rex watch which also uploads to the Apple Health App so I can look over everything in one place when I want to review the week. I did notice that I had to reload my app page once when the information wasn't immediately synced but that's not an issue at all. Overall, and my only rating under 5 is because it is a bit pricey compared to my previous scale but a great addition to your fitness items for 2023!

Title: Nice Weight Scale - Poor Software/Health Mate App Interface
Review: I purchased the Body Comp scale (mainly for the body composition and vascular age data), after using the Withings Wireless BP cuff for almost 4 months. The connectivity between the BP cuff and the Withings Health Mate app works seamlessly. So, based on this experience, I purchased the Body Comp scale thinking all the poor reviews reporting issues were just over-blown. Wrong!!! Upon receiving the scales, I activated the provided batteries (removed the piece of plastic from the battery compartment ), and completed the setup via the Health Mate app successfully. Placed the scales in the spot (bathroom) they would be used, and took my first weigh-in. All worked as expected and the results immediately appeared in the Health Mate app. I then added my wife as a second user, through the Health Mate app. Again, all worked as expected. Her first weigh-in reported correctly. The second day provided the expected results for both profiles. Then, on the third morning, is when things went wrong (no settings on the scale had been changed, and no up-dates to our phones iOS). We both weighed-in. The scale automatically selected the correct profile for each of us and proceeded as expected. The issue with my profile was the body composition data showed on the scale LCD, but then reported an error when attempting to up-load the data to the Health Mate app. The scale then correctly selected my wife’s profile and showed all the data correctly on the scale’s LCD, but did not up-load any new data to the Health Mate app. Both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi were connected correctly and both phones showed a connection in the Bluetooth settings. During the following three days, every possible action to correct the issues were taken (e.g., confirmed the batteries were 100%, cleaned the top of the scales (even though the scales were brand new), moistened our feet per Withings FAQs, removed scales from the Health Mate app, deleted the Health Mate app from the phones and re-booted the phones, reinstalled the Health Mate app, restored scale to factory settings, and re-installing with the Health Mate app, etc.). After all these actions, making numerous searches on Withings’ website and the general internet, no solutions were found and the scale’s data never up-loaded correctly to the Health Mate app. The Withings’ website has very limited (and very basic) guidance in their FAQ and Troubleshooting sections addressing these issues (I checked multiple times to ensure I had not over-looked a possible solution). After the level of frustration I experienced with the data not up-loading to the Health Mate app and the very expensive price this scale cost, I decided it was an “omen” the scale would be a constant problem, so I returned it to Amazon for a full refund and purchased a different brand (much less expensive and worked much better straight out of the box). I would not recommend Withings Body Comp scale because there appears to be an issue either in the scale’s internal software or maintaining a reliable interface with the Health Mate app.

Review: Balança cara mas nada a dizer da qualidade. A nível de integração com iPhone é 5 estrelas. Os resultados medidos não são muito diferente de uma balança mais barata mas ainda assim acho que é uma boa compra
