An abstract game of time and murder! That Time You Killed Me is a narrative game that introduces new scenarios with unique rules and components as you play. As with any game about mucking about across time, you must play through this content in a strict, unalterable order. Play through 4 different Chapters, each with its own rules and components and increasing difficulty! You and your opponent are rival time travelers trying to erase each other from history. To prove you are the one true inventor of time travel, you must use your invention to find your enemy in time and murder them - before they get you! Unfortunately, since your enemy has strewn many copies of themself across the timeline, you may have to do the terrible deed many, many times before it sticks. Just make sure you don't get erased first!

Title: Keeps getting better
Review: A little tricky to rape your head round at first but gets really good once you get the hang of it, and that's just the brace game. Each new addition is like getting a whole new game. 100% recommended to fans of abstract strategy games.

Title: Clever little time-travelling chesslike game!
Review: I picked up a copy of this game at PAX Unplugged because Pandasauras Games is amazing and of course I checked out their booth. This game was the highlight of the booth because they had a bunch of demos and boxes all setup everywhere. It's really quite a clever little game - super simple to learn, quick to setup and jump in. Probably going to require a lot of time to master and figure out strategies and tricks. The premise is simple, starting with the first mechanic introduced when you learn to play, you can move your characters around the board in one time era (past, present, future) and/or jump to a different era. If you jump into the past, you leave a copy of yourself in the original timeframe (thus spawning more copies if yourself as you go). If you're in the past, you can plant a seed which becomes a bush in the present, and a tree in the future. The objective is to kill as many versions of your opponent by pushing them into walls, bushes, trees (or knocking trees over onto them) or into their other selves - creating a paradox which kills them both! And this is just the first core mechanic of 3 that get introduced the more you play the game. The instructions are treated as somewhat narrative, with a big STOP! in each section as you hit break points. They want you to play a few rounds using the mechanics you know up to that point before moving on. And that makes sense, because each mechanic that gets introduced creates a whole new level of gameplay possibilities! I wont go into the others because theres a spoiler element but use your imagination as to what kind of mechanics could be introduced in a game where a past version of your self can affect the future (and how you can use those to your advantage to setup traps and tricks to take out your opponent).

Title: Simple to learn; complex to master
Review: I got this as a birthday gift, and it is the most fun I've had with a board game since I learned chess as a kid. Additionally, it's the only strategy board game I have that friends and family who aren't into strategy games really enjoy playing. Can't recommend this game enough.
