MATERIAL-- First you need to know this is a knife handmade forged from high carbon steel and high manganese steel. It is not made of stainless steel, so after each use, you may need keep it clean and dry to resist rust. But high carbon steel has a better ability to maintain sharp edges than stainless steel. Handmade Forged Technology -- The cutlery knives are sharpened manually by workers with more than 30 years of experience by using natural knife grinders mined from Mount Emei. Compared with kitchen knives made with mechanical ways, the service life of such knives is longer.

How To Maintain -- Due to the forged knife has higher carbon content, please pay attention to clean the knife, and acidic or alkaline substances cannot stay on the blade for a long period. Such knife shall be wiped dry after cleaning. Some cooking oil may be applied on it if it is not used for a long time. And it shall be placed at a dry place for storage.

Title: this knife is a bargain for the money
Review: my knife came in a very nice presentation box with a nice leather sheath. The blade is just shy of 6 and three quarters of an inch in length ,,,i am loving it,,,it came razor sharp and it is not stainless steel ,,,i did the quick magnet trick on it,Yes i would buy it again ....for the price its a great knife ....not light and not flimsy ...i gave it an overall rating of 4 stars because one of the wood handles was slightly loose...thats it.

Review: This knife is absolutely wonderful!I have to admit that I am a knife snob and unless it's from well known, high-end brand I usually won't buy it. I decided to buy this because I was looking for something a little heavier than the normal chef knife but not as bulky and single minded as a clever, and for 22 bucks this was a cheap way to experiment.I have to admit I was more than pleasantly surprised when I opened the package. This knife is hefty, solidly built, and SHARP! Listen to the other reviews when they say this thing is sharp right out of the box. It processes food quickly and efficiently. As I stated it is hefty, but it never feels unwieldy.This is exactly the same knife that you see marketed under a hundred different names and companies here on Amazon, so I'm sure that whatever brand you decide to go with you will not be disappointed. It is a well built, heavy, sharp and wonderful blade that if you maintain will certainly last for many years.

Review: Nice and sharp, holds edge. I don't use it much but every time i use it, it is sharp. Don't need to sharpen it. Probably used it over 40 times to cut meat and vegetables. For something so cheap it works well.

Review: 本日届き早速開けてみましたが刃が全くついておらず定規のような感じでとても食材を切れるような状態ではないです。自分で研ぐにしろ荒砥から根気よく研がないといけない状態です。同じような商品が何個かありますが1番値段が高いですが重さが比較的軽いこちらのナイフを購入しましたがちょっと残念な気持ちになりました。購入を考えられている方は商品説明にある刃が鋭くというのは全くのデタラメなのでその点注意していただければと思います。

Review: Tengo varios cuchillos, tanto de acampar, tacticos y de cocina soy chef amateur y déjenme decirles que este cuchillo es justo lo que quería. Es bonito, muy filoso de espiga completa con un precio atractivo y ademas de acero al carbón que se afila mucho muy fácil aunque en contraposición si se llega a oxidar; pero solo hay que tener cuidado de secarlo muy bien después de lavar y cubrir su hoja con una muy fina capa de aceite de cocina y listo. Para el uso que es, no podría estar mejor.
