Title: Awesome system and easy to use!
Review: Purchased this system for a new home build. Installed and the system works flawlessly. Has all the bells and whistles I was looking for and the quality of the components are top notch. Customer service is outstanding should you have any questions. I will be purchasing more cameras in the future to expand also.

Title: Great quality at a low price
Review: Images are from my test setup before I installed them outside. These cameras are crazy good, especially for the price. I had a few other cameras from different brands set up, mostly wireless ones, but when I saw this one I knew it would be a great hardwired option to replace my other ones.First off, it's POE, so there's only one cord for power and data. They're super long too, I only used half of each one to wire a 360â° view around my home.Setup was simple as well. Just plug them in and you're off! You can expand this with up to 8 cameras. The kit includes 4 cameras and 4 Ethernet cables for them. The Ethernet cables also have a water resistant screw on cover to protect the connection. I see no reason why water would get in, but I did still wrap them in electrical tape for some extra piece of mind. The box comes with a mouse that is used for navigating the interface. When it starts it'll be in 12 camera mode. I'm not sure why, as the unit only supports 8, but if you right click and select view, you can click the four camera view to see them in their HD glory side by side by side by side. A really nice interface. All in all, these cameras are easy to use, easy to set up, super high resolution, and come with everything you need to get started.Do note: they need to be top mounted. So you'll have to make a mount to put them on the side of a building. But we put ours under the front and back porch roof overhangs and they mounted up great.

Title: With a LOUD recorded voice it says camera is starting up each time it gets power up!!!!
Review: I do not want my neighbors/people hear my camera saying "Camera is starting up" each time my NVR resets itself for maintenance or power goes out. Who wants their camera to be noticed???? My NVR resets around 3am in the morning for 10 seconds so when it comes back on this camera is going to yell "Camera is starting up"!!! I tried to disable this stupid option but cannot see how.

Title: Excellenti
Review: I bought this system to replace a wireless system that lost connection frequently.I bought the NVR and extender, so I now have 16 channels, 4 Dome, 4 Bullet and 2 PTZ cameras.I especially like several features about this system. First, two way audio. I didn't want to just listen to what was going on outside, but wanted to be able to speak to people too. Most other systems have only one way audio. The cameras provide a wonderful picture and the ability to draw zones allows folks to access allowed areas without setting off the alarms. The humanoid and car detection feature is also great. The cameras are not too big and fit perfectly against the walls. I would recommend this system to any one looking for a stable and advanced system.

Title: Finally Installed!
Review: Took me awhile to get around to installing this system, could not be happier. Only used 6 of the 8 for full coverage needed. Installed Gurdian View app on phone and can view anywhere. Great system. Would buy again.

Title: user friendly
Review: Update!: coming around to appreciate the system more. Video is pretty clear just donât know how to work these so-called spotlights but night vision is pretty good. Wish user settings was more easier. Overall fantastic for the price. Change star rating from a to 2 to a 4 star.Just got wired and turned on. System is not user friendly and my 4k cams are not close to 1080 with high resolution! Seems like system says âmy phoneâ has no memory for some replay back from dvr(?) I have to refresh a lot for play back. Way to many user option for me personal.

Review: Almost one month later and this system is still working great. Very happy with it. Arrived as expected and was really well packaged. Setup was more or less plug and play. Pretty simple if you can read basic instructions. Plug your set top box into a TV, and follow the onscreen prompts. Hook up your cameras and the device auto detects them. Set up the cameras sensitivity to alerts and that is it. They have a real simple to use app for android/apple and it seems to be quite stable thus far. Alerts come in quickly. You can record playback directly to your phone and it actually goes into your camera roll instead of their app thankfully. It also has a stand alone app for PC that works great and is easy to customize. With the PC app you can actually use your PC as a DVR of sorts if you want to. Can also record footage directly to your computer. Pretty nifty I thought. Video quality surpassed my expectations by quite a bit. Some of these companies consider "4k" potato cam quality video. I can verify that these cameras actually do record in 4k. The addition of 2way talk and a useful spotlight on them further enhances their use. I find myself turning the spotlights on quite often. The playback experience is quite fast too. They have indicators in the playback timeline so you can just zip to where the cameras detected motion and go from there. There isn't much in the way of lag while skipping around different times. My previous camera systems playback mode was super frustrating to use, so this was a welcome change. I read a bunch of reviews of this system and one of the big gripes was false alerts. I can see this being an issue for some, but it just appears to be the nature of the game. From what I have read most of the current generation of camera systems suffer the same fault. I have most of my cameras set to near the lowest alert setting and it seems to have killed most of the false alerts. Getting the random buzz in my pocket because a bug walked across the lens of my camera isn't going to be a deal breaker. I had to purchase longer cables of 150ft to get my cameras to their desired location. If you need to exceed 60ft I would suggest buying the "CableGeeker" flat cat6 ethernet cable. They are extremely thin and are easy to run with basic cable management. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. If it blows up in the next year or something else happens to it I will add more reviews. At this time 10/10

Review: I was taked to install a security camera system for my volunteer-run, non-profit, tennis club and there were so many choices and product nuances that I was almost overwhelmed. It needed to be wired, for 24/7 recording, and one of the cameras was to be live streamed to the clubs website so members could check conditions. This system, with its plug and play and install wizard got me 80% of the way and the very helpful product support team held my novice hands and walked me through the requirments and set up of the live stream. Great price, arrived quickly, performed as required with no headaches and product support was superb! I was happy and our club members overjoyed!
