Title: What an Adventure into the famous Four's Mind!
Review: What fun that was to be inside Four's mind! Four has to be by far, one, if not the sexiest book guy in all history! Its just something about him that drives me insane! He's so mysterious, and has this edgy edge to him, that is enough to send me into a frenzy... I loved getting a glimpse into Four's mind, and what he thought about Tris during initiation. I mean yeah, I knew the liked her, but its different to actually see what he thought as his feeling progressed, as he was still sorting through the reasons why he was so drawn to Tris. And what I liked most about getting this scene in Four's POV, was seeing why he felt what he felt for Tris, and the reasoning behind his feelings were...sweet, and that's saying a lot for Four because we all know theirs nothing sweet about him, well sometimes, but definitely not in the beginning of Tris's initiation. Four's attraction towards Tris was for all the right reasons, it made me fall more in love with his character. He didn't feel attracted to Tris for her looks, or because her body was drop dead gorges. And that's what I really liked about being insides Four's head. He felt for Tris because she was brave, selfless, smart, honest, and peaceful, all in one. And that's what makes her Divergent, just like him. They don't have one way of thinking like the non-divergent does. And I guess that was just one of the many reasons Four fell for Tris, and I loved getting just a little 14 page glimpse into the mind of the famous Four! I liked the fact that Veronica Roth picked the knife throwing scene to tell Tobias's POV. I felt it dug deeper into Four then another scene would, because he was battling with what he's feeling for Tris, yet he has his anger towards Eric show in this scene, what he felt about a lot of the initiates, and what he was thinking when he was wailing knives at Tris's head, and why he decided to nick Tris's ear with the knife. I've always wondered why he did that. I always figured it was for a good reason, and not to hurt her. But the reason he did do it was not what I was excepting! Leave it to Veronica Roth to always take me by surprise! That's one of the many reasons I love reading anything from this women. Not only does she keep me on my toes, and has me guessing, but she keeps my heart pounding, hands shacking, mind racing, nails biting, the whole way through Tris and Tobias's adventure! Next up, The Transfer. Another one of Tobias POV short stories, and I can't wait to see what happens as Four goes through his own initiation.

Title: Great, as long as you know what you're signing up for
Review: A lot of the reviews I read on this seemed to have the wrong idea of what the book was supposed to be. This is NOT a full book of Divergent from Four's perspective. It is a SCENE from his perspective. And for what it is, it's good. Roth stays true to her writing style, and she does bring you into Four's head. You see the scene from his eyes with his fears, his thoughts, his perceptions of Tris. How he sees his actions versus how she sees them. This is not one of those really intimate scenes, and honestly, it's the last one I would have expected Roth to pick to write from his eyes. It's the knife throwing scene where he's forced to throw knives at Tris in front of Eric and the other initiates. Obviously, the dialogue is all the same, and a lot of the things that go through his head are things we all already knew. But to be fair, some of his thoughts are really unexpected, and some of your own views on the scene get questioned.I often feel like a writer is trying too hard when they take a first-person perspective book and try to write it from another perspective. It's usually forced, and it's only there because the publisher thought it would be a nice touch. I have to appreciate Free Four, because it is only the one scene. She didn't try to make it something it wasn't.If you're a fan of Divergent, buy it and read it. It's only 99 cents, and it's a short, fun read. It gives a bit more depth to the book, and if you're one of us waiting on edge for the third one, it at least gives you something to grasp onto. Enjoy and be merry; just don't expect it to be more than it is.

Title: Awesome story that needs to be read!
Review: To be honest, I really don't understand why people are leaving such bad reviews for this. Maybe it's because they saw the title and were to stupid to read the description and thought they were getting an actual book told by four, I don't know but grow up. This book was short, yeah which kind of sucked, but very worth the .99 I spent on it. The subscription clearly stated it was a short chapter from the book, and if you'd actual read divergent then you'd understand just how short it was.Though the divergent trilogy could be read without this short snippet, reading this adds to the story so much it's hard to example. The knife throwing part is definitely one of the most important parts of this book, and having it be told from Tris's point of view left many questions unanswered. But, all those questions are cleared up and your finally understand the reasoning behind Four's actions. It's an extremely important part of the book, not to mention how important it is to Tris and Four's relationship. You learn some things about Four that you might not have known before, including just how much danger Four, I and even Tris, were in because of Eric's hatred for him. I wish that Veronica Roth would tell more parts of the books from Four's POV, but I am content with this short story.I highly recommend that anyone who loves the Divergent series and the relationship between Tris and Four, read this. It is well worth the .99 it costs!!!!

Title: Very interesting but still slightly disappointed.
Review: When i first found out the author made a book in Tobias's point of view, i was so excited because Tobias was such a mysterious person and i always wondered what he was thinking. The first chapter was very good but then i realized that...thats all there was! i knew it was going to be a short story because it says there's only 16 pages, but it turns out that the second half of the book is just a preview of Diverget. I'm a huge fan of the series but i was just a little disappointed because it was so short and didnt really have anything except for a chapter. So pay attention to that before you buy it!!! It's very short but for the short part that was actually there, i would say it was very good writing and i really enjoyed it

Review: This book was something I never thought that I would read. It retells the scene of the knife throwing perfectly and makes Four/Tobias seem a little more human than he did during Tris’s perspective. Great but quick read!“ I have to admit that Christina is good—though I don’t like giving credit to Candor smart-mouths—and so is Peter—though I don’t like giving credit to future psychopaths. Al, however, is just a walking, talking sledgehammer, all power and no finesse.“Best line in the book!

Review: This story... This perfect story is so, so wonderful! Though it's short, Tobias tell this scene (the best Divergent scene, in my opinion) with so much emotion that it's almost as we were there, inside his head and facing this exciting moment in Fourtris history. It is an easy and quick book, but I could not wish for something better.Totally recomend it!
