Review: This book does a good job at explaining how intermittent fasting and how it helps women over 50 lose weight. Intermittent fasting is normally done as 16 hours of fasting with an 8 hour window that you eat. There are a hundred recipes and a meal plan that will help you jump start your new journey.

Title: Confusing
Review: Before I buy a book I read the reviews and sample. I'm a little suspect of these reviewers due to them all saying the same thing--writing about the book's intention. No one writes about having actually tried it. Additionally there are pervasive errors in their words. No evidence of anyone having used the book.The sample was confusing. I didn't know if I was reading a keto book or an IF book. The author addresses whether you can combine keto with IF and then says that the point of IF is ketosis. The author then says that they are two methods. Shortly afterward, she says that some people may go on IF because they eat low carb "and find that if they don't break their fast periodically, the effects of ketosis are not lasting enough." Now three concepts/methods are being mixed! Low carb eating is not fasting.Can't figure out the high number of review stars. Guess it's a good attempt at marketing.

Title: Just knowledge- No plan
Review: Lots of "You can do this or you can do that." Nothing specific. Lots of recipes. Information on what happens to the body during fasting but no plan of fasting besides a 14 day eating plan that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are looking for a complete plan, this book is not it.

Title: Great intro to IF
Review: If you are like me you have heard about intermittent fasting but were not sure what it entails. This book will.answer all of your questions. The author opens by explaining what IF is and its benefits. Then she moves into the recipes. I liked that the recipes had big flavors like shakshuka but were meant to be filling and healthier. Overall, I learned a lot.
