Title: Made for You - 4.5 stars
Review: Since they were teenagers, Brynn and Will have been at each otherâs throats like cats and dogs. They canât stand each other but three years ago, Brynn made a huge mistake by sleeping with him and not long after that, Will left the state. Now, Brynnâs just turned thirty-one and feeling more lost than ever and not only is Will back in town but heâs also her new neighbor. When Brynnâs boyfriend breaks up with her, she decides to take a break⦠from herself. Who better to spice up her life than the very person whoâs the exact opposite of her? Willâs been in love with Brynn for years and when she not only wants to have a fling with him but be a completely different person, he just canât say no to her. Heâll do anything to get to her embrace the real Brynn but will his patience run out when Brynn proves more stubborn than he thought?Oh my God. This book! I donât really know what to say exactly. It took me on an emotional ride because we get Brynn, who is this Ice Princess but still self-conscious and canât let go of the fact that she used to be a social outcast and then thereâs Will, whoâs perfect and wild and free. Total opposites but who have so an insane amount of sexual tension that NO ONE could miss seeing the connection they have. As characters, I adored the fact that they bickered so much. Some of Willâs barbs were cruel and I didnât really get why he would insult her so much but, oh, how it riled Brynn up! She became ALIVE when he got her angry and that was exactly what he wanted. At the same time, Brynn was able to get Will all hot and bothered without even realizing it!Theyâre a match made in Heaven, even if it took them going through Hell to finally come together. Still, this book is about more than discovering their mutual and long-awaited love. Itâs about growing for both of them. Brynn has made it her life to have the perfect job, the perfect body, the perfect boyfriend/husband, the perfect life, etc. However, this book was like a self-discovery for her to the point that she finally found the woman in herself that made her comfortable. Will has always been the partier, the playboy, the slacker but in this one, he shows his true colors and the fantasies that he wants with Brynn â a life together, babies, LOVE. Itâs sweet and intense and totally engrossing. I just couldnât get enough of their chemistry and I loved that I connected so much with them that I even cried! Often! I felt so sad for Willâs unrequited love and Brynnâs confusion towards him. It took a lot for Will to admit his feelings but also a lot for Brynn to really understand how much she NEEDS Will in her life.My only real niggle was that Brynn didnât really know Will at all. Will knew so much about her to the point of being obsessed but Brynn still doesnât really know Will by the end of the book. She doesnât know his favorite ice cream, his favorite sandwich or anything like that. It didnât seem like she made an effort to get to know him during their fling so while I loved that they got together and definitely FELT their love, I just didnât feel like she KNEW him as much as he knew her, beyond the judgmental assumptions she had made of him already.Still, in the end, I absolutely loved the book. It has its flaws but, for me, it was a very emotional book and I definitely connected with both characters. I wasnât sure whether I liked the flashbacks, especially the ones that seem to be just repeat scenes from the first book, Only With You, but it was still a phenomenal story where Brynn grew and found herself and Will finally got his girl. Iâm crossing my fingers there will be another book in this series because I donât want to let these characters go just yet! If you like Ms. Layneâs writing or enjoyed the first Best Mistake novel, then youâll definitely enjoy this one!

Title: Wonderful ending
Review: Well Lauren Layne has done it again. I knew Brynn and Will had chemistry from the first book but they took it to a whole new level. I absolutely adored Will. There were moments when I just wished he would be honest with Brynn though. I felt like he wasn't being completely fair to her by dropping this huge bomb about being in love for 15 years and not giving her any time to really react. Also, Brynn was a fantastically flawed character who you could relate to and feel for, however, I thought her reasoning for needing to be perfect fell a little short. I understood her feelings toward Will but I really wish she could have let go of the bullying a little sooner. The end was really fantastic though.

Title: Delicious Enemies to Lovers Tale!
Review: First of all, I just have to say that this was one of the books I've been anticipating for several months and it definitely lived up to my expectations! This fabulous romance is the story of Will and Brynn. Hated enemies since teenagers, they've never missed a chance to snipe at each other, fireworks between them finally exploding in a night of hot steamy sex three years earlier after which Will took off without a word or a goodbye. Now he's back and living next door to Brynn, much to her chagrin. When the lacklustre relationship she's been involved in ends, she throws caution to the winds and finally acknowledges that she needs to let loose while she figures out her future and having a secret no-strings affair with Will despite their mutual dislike (or so it seems) looks like the best plan. But Will's depth of knowledge about her makes her uncomfortably aware that she may have misjudged him from the start of their rocky relationship. Will she admit her feelings for him to herself and to him, before it's too late?I loved this story! Once I started it, I had such a hard time putting it down! From the very beginning, the sexual tension between Will and Brynn is clear and captivating, leading the reader through the flashbacks of their relationship as Will's intentions and feelings become clear to us, even if they confuse Brynn. It's only a matter of time before they end up in bed together and the love scenes between them are steamy and emotional. I really enjoyed having the story told from both points of view as well, Will being steadfast in his desire to show Brynn what she's been missing and Brynn being confused and utterly unaware of the feelings Will has harboured towards her. I really liked Brynn's character. She has her flaws definitely, but they aren't without reason and over the course of the story she begins to realize her mistakes and how she can fix them. And Will of course is the handsome playboy, the man who always has a woman on his arm and in his bed, something that drives Brynn crazy though she doesn't realize why until it's almost too late. The secondary characters in the story add a wonderful dynamic, in particular Brynn's sister Sophie who has been best friends with Will for many years. His easy relationship with her family has always driven Brynn crazy, yet another chip in the wall she's built around herself against him for so many years, a wall that is finally tumbling down.As a highly anticipated sequel to Sophie and Gray's story, this book delivered on all counts. Sexy, emotional, moments to make you laugh and to bring a tear to your eye. A definite new favourite for me. 5 fabulous stars!

Title: This book is made for everyone, it's one you don't want to miss!
Review: I love frenemies to lovers stories, the fire and passion that happens is one of my favorite subgenre to read. Lauren Layne hit the nail on the head with Will and Brynn. These two have known each other for years, and attraction has never been the issue, but personalities get in the way. Sparks fly, my cheeks ache from smiling so much, and this is a winner of a book. It's the second in a series that is made of interconnected standalones. If you have yet to read Lauren Layne, you don't know what you're missing. Funny, witty, and sexy, these books are simply a feel-good fantastic read.

Review: Another romance classic. It's the second of the kind that I read from Lauren Layne. First one was "Just one night" of the Stilletos series. In both, they met in high school and were attracted to each other, but in "Made for you" the misunderstandings are way more numerous and complicated. Nevertheless, just like in every Lauren Layne's novels I've read so far, both characters are very likable, and I couldn't put down the book because I needed to know how they would manage. Brynn built around her a huge wall of rules thinking that it helped her to become the best person, but in the process, she forgot to look around her and listen to her inner self. Instead, she based her rules only on what she thinks the world is expecting from her. As a bright young woman, she pretty much succeeded until it started to crumble. The character of Will was more challenging to grasp as it was unraveled very slowly. I still didn't get how he got so close to Brynn's family. The multiple flashbacks at the beginning of the chapters enlightened Will & Brynn behavior, but they were a little too long. Brynn was blinded by all her rules, and it was irritating.I haven't read the first book in this series, but I'll probably do it now that I know that it's the sorry of Brynn's sister that I liked very much.

Review: All in all I liked the story but it is my least favorite Lauren Layne novel. I really liked Will but Brynn was just so annoying and was getting on my nerves. There are also a couple of chapters from the first book in this novel which I just skipped. The ending was great and that is why I chose four instead of three stars. In the end it was a round story but I won't read it again.

Review: There is a fine line between love and hate, something that Brynn and Will know all too well. Meeting back in high school, Will humiliated Brynn, something she has never quite gotten over. However, when Will is your younger sister's best friend it's not very easy to get away from him.Three years ago Will moved across the country, without saying anything to Brynn. But now he is back and moving into the house next door to her. This time he is determined not to let her slip through his fingers and tried everything to show her that he isn't a foolish high schoolboy anymore.A will they, won't they tale with a good dose of 'just get together already' added into the mix. The second instalment in the series, but could be read as a standalone with flashbacks to things that happened in the first book.
