The BRAND NEW laugh-out-loud rockstar second chance romantic comedy from MILLION-COPY BESTSELLER Portia MacIntosh.

Nicole Wilde’s life has not panned out how she expected.

Ten years ago when she was living the rock star lifestyle as a music journalist - touring the country, going to gigs and hanging out with celebrities - she never thought she would end up living an uneventful life in suburbia, in a relationship that is well past its sell-by date.

Nicole knows that her days of wild parties and tour buses are over, but yet there is something that keeps drawing her back to her old life. So when rock star Dylan King turns up on her doorstep needing her help to restore his public image, she can’t resist one last trip down memory lane.

But Nicole and Dylan's history is complicated. And when her old life and new life collide, she will soon realise that you can’t run away from your past forever, and sometimes you just have to follow your heart...

Join MILLION-COPY bestseller Portia MacIntosh for a laugh-out-loud second chance, celebrity romantic comedy.

Title: 50/50
Review: It was OK, however, not what I was expecting when it says romance and there’s really not a whole lot of actual details about romance. I wish that would’ve had more, but at least the characters were good and it was OK.

Title: Such a fun read!
Review: -Second Chance Romance-Celebrity Romance-Music Lovers-Emotional RollercoasterI think many of us dreamed of being plunked from obscurity by our favorite band, joining them on tour, and getting to know the frontman intimately. Nicole Wilde also had this dream, but she made a career of it by becoming a music journalist and joining the popular band The Burnouts on tour. Nicole becomes best friends with the popular frontman Dylan King, and after an untrue scandal rocks their friendship, she returns to obscurity.Ten years later, Nicole is dating and living with social media influencer Rowan while she assists him in parenting his young children, Ned and Archie. She’s left her career as a music journalist and is now a fixer (think a smaller-scale Olivia Pope). However, now her life needs fixing, and right when she’s getting close to her matter being fixed, Dylan shows up, reigniting the flame she previously had for her. This book was sooooo much fun to read. As a music lover, I really enjoyed getting the inside perspective of life as a rock star/close friend of a rock star. The characters are pretty relatable and easy to love. I even found myself trying to find excuses/love for Rowan until the end of the book, but then he redeemed himself. I loved Nicole and Dylan together. They really gave off the OTP vibes, and it was beautiful to watch them fall back in love with each other and bring the best out of one another. It was also incredible to see characters loving and treating kids who were not their own so great. Ned and Archie got two bonus parents, and there was never a time when it was forced or something Nicole or Dylan had to do; they just had great love for the boys. This book does a great job of keeping the reader interested. There was never a lull in reading or moments that felt like fodder until the next big event happened. This was my first Portia MacIntosh, and it definitely won’t be the last.

Review: A woman trapped in suburbia gets to go back to her life touring with a band, and the hot rock star who was her best friend? Perfect for this elder emo kid who misses that music life.

Review: Language was a bit much for me. Story was cute and predictable but fun. Happy ending…as most are. If you can deal with the F word pretty often go ahead and read it.

Review: A decent predictable read. Honestly the beginning was a lot stretched and it got interesting in just about the end which by the pace of the book was predictable
