Title: Great Filtration System
Review: I ordered the Express Water Heavy Metal Filtration System for the following reasons: 1. Very detailed and favorable reviews; 2. The sleek look of this system paired with the stainless steel; 3. Preinstalled pressure guages; and, 4. The availability of a variable range of replacement filters, all at an exceptional cost. The system was installed inside a barn that contains my water well and is attached to a line leading to my home. Water testing showed my primary concern to be water hardness and I contemplated getting the recently released Express Water Descaling system. (Note: I did purchase a set of Express Water Descaling Filters through Amazon). I opted for the Heavy Metal system because of the extensive filtering capability of its KDF filter. The system was installed by the contractor and team who constructed my country home. The system was installed on a piece of 3/4 inch ply board attached to the barn wall and elevated on the advice of the installer to simplify filter changes. In order to address descaling issues the system was paired following an ISpring spindown filter that contained pho, a compound that restricts bonding of calcium and magnesium that creates scaling. In addition, an ISpring electronic descaler was installed on the water line coming out of the Express Water system.I have attached a photo of the filtration system as completed. It operates through a bypass of the main line that can be closed to allow unfiltered water to flow from the well to the house bound line (I do have two outdoor faucets built from my house water system that are occasionally used for outside yard watering, and if excessive water usage becomes an issue, I will have the option of bypassing the system for that use). As shown, the filter system is constructed out of pvc piping. The system has been in operation for about one month.Following great advice provided in earlier reviews, installation was prompt and improvement to the clarity and purity of the water was almost instantaneous. This improvement has encouraged us to commence drinking the water, which now has a clean and pleasant taste. Recently my wife suggested we add an ice making machine to our refrigerator, to eliminate buying ice which we have been doing since building the home in late 2014. My contractor who installed the system and has installed many others in this rural area indicated it was the best designed system he has seen and indicated he is probably going to install an Express Water system at his new home. I am encouraged the company will live up to the fine reviews it has received. The cost of the system, including all components, with installation, was less than $1,000, which is about half the cost of many comparable systems being installed in the area.I will supplement this review if problems arise, but at the present time I rate it five stars and am glad to be free of the hassles of a salt based system, yet have good clean water on hand.

Title: Noticed a difference right away
Review: Fairly simple and straight forward to install! Especially with very basic plumbing experience. I installed an additional sediment filter since the water in my area is very full of minerals with all the water pipe work the city is doing. The strong chlorine smell was gone after an hour and water tastes so good now! Showering feels even better. The unit seems bigger than i had anticipated even though I knew the product dimensions. My water pressure with the filters installed didn’t drop at all! the gauges indicate a constant 62psi which is great! You don’t have to use all copper like I did but I had extra pipe so it just worked out to use all copper in my case. I also recommend configuring it with a bypass like the instructions say to do. BTW the instructions aren’t “step-by-step” but rather a guide of what you should do so you can install it with your preferred methods and materials. No leaks, and just worked immediately! Highly recommend!

Title: Highly recommend!
Review: After two months of everyday use.Good quality, easy installation, and excellent results. I would recommend a pre-filter and UV light for complete filtration. You can taste the difference at the faucet which I would describe as Dasani quality. Every load of laundry feels softer, cleaner, and smells 100% better. You can feel the difference with every shower as being more refreshing. The water staining and mildew has minimized in the kitchen, bathroom, and washer. I would highly recommend to any household looking to improve water quality.

Title: Great water now
Review: I've waited 4 months before reviewing. Installation in my case was a breeze, because my house had a traditional softener system in it previously when it was built, but when I bought the house, the previous owners had gotten rid of it about 10 years or so before selling the house. Fine by me, the salt-based softeners all have something in them that cause my eyes to swell up and close when I wash my face or shower/bathe in that water, and my skin to break out in red hives. I was looking for something else to alleviate the hard water spot woes in southeast Tennessee. Let me tell ya, this filtration unit is fantastic! No skin or eye issues, the water doesn't feel slick or slimy like with a salt-based unit. I've also already noticed that some of the hard water build up from the last ten years, even on the Glas shower doors has started to dissolve. In some spots and on some faucets, after about two months, I was able to scrape it off with a finger nail and a little force. Clothes in the washer are coming out fresher now, my sinks are easier to clean, the taste of the water is now fresh and fantastic! I will say, for the first month and a half or so, it tasted a little like a drinking water from a new hose in the yard, but I think that may have been the pipes and plumbing set up I had to add in order to hook it up. Now though, it's great! I sent a water quality report and a photo of the water pressure reading to their customer service from my utility company and they replied back after a few days and said I should get the 100,000 gallons or so use from all three filters. At that rate, my family will be on the first set for a year (I'll replace them annually, even though we won't hit 100,000 gallons). When installing, look at the diagrams, don't forget to make a bypass for when you change the filters, so if you have an issue, you can default to direct utility water. I had to get creative with some extra 90 degree joints, small sections of pex, and layering some pipes next to each other to fit the tight squeeze of the gap in my pipes, but it was very easy to do. I drew out a diagram of what I needed and bought a couple extra sticks of pex and pex to pvc adapters, just in case. If you have pex, you will need a pex to pvc adapter, the areas to thread into the filtration usit should be PVC, I tried a pex threaded one and it dripped for a day, then tried with the pex to pvc threaded adapter and it stopped leaking and has worked perfectly since then! This filtration system will most likely last for years and years so long as I change the filters as suggested and my garage never gets cold enough for a hard freeze, which I doubt it ever well. The design is great. I've had several neighbors who saw the box by the curb when I first got it wait, and then ask after a while how I like the filtration system. I've shown them the setup and shared the link, and I know of at least one that is getting one as well. I was worried about water plants with it, but they have thrived all summer, and I have no complaints as of yet! Seems very durable and I'll update this review if any issues ever pop up.

Review: I bought the whole home heavy metals filter because my wife and I returned from our Caribbean sanctuary and could not believe the taste and smell of our drinking water in Oshawa, Canada. Rather than risk poisoning we installed the whole home filter and immediately noticed a complete difference in the smell and taste of our water. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to take the risk out of drinking municipal water. Fluoride is an industrial byproduct (toxin) and should not be in our drinking water. This system deals with it too, so when your municipality fails you and adds it, you can eliminate it too.

Review: I am on a municipal well and for the last two years, our water seems to be getting worse. My water was never “clear” to the eye. Sometimes the water was yellow/brown even after running the water for a while. They shock the well too and we can smell chlorine in our water. My wife also has bad reactions to the water when showering. I installed the heavy metals whole house water filtration system with a sediment pre-filter. I also decided to replace my old water softener. We immediately noticed a difference. The photos are from one day after insulation. I'm honestly blown away by how well the system is working. Our water is completely clear!Tip for insulation, use shark bite fittings for the inlet and outlet so you can tighten the nylon fittings if they leak. The copper pipe will spin in the shark bite fittings so you won't need to mess around with re-sodering. I had to tighten the fittings twice and it took me seconds using shark bite fittings. Don't be shy with the teflon tape either.

Some also appreciate the value for money and smell. However, some customers have mixed opinions on the water pressure.
