Title: The Best Home Automation Hub
Review: I got rid of all my hubs, this one is superb. Not perfect, it started in Europe so many devices on this side of the ocean are still not supported but there is a great community making things happen. As for my setup, only some motion sensors not working. Pairing devices is a snap, very responsive.

Title: Regret buying it. Please read before making the same mistake I did.
Review: I recently bought a new home in June of 2023 and immediately started converting everything to smart tech. As anyone who has done this knows, this means ending up with devices controlled/linked to multiple apps/protocols.I watched all the social media influencers videos about Homey Pro and thought it would be my best option by far for me. But it most definitely wasn't!Most of my devices (Tuya, SONOFF/Ewelink controlled) do not have legit Homey Pro apps. When I went to the Homey forums for assistance/guidance, what I discovered is basically almost all of the community app creators/coders have abandoned Homey and gone back to Home Assistant and all of their community Homey apps are now just abandoned and not being upgraded/updated. At this point, there is literally one guy on the forums who tries to assist and no one else. When it come to SONOFF devices, they claim to have an official app, but it has next to no devices added and when I reached out to them (via email) to ask them to add my SONOFF T5 TX Ultimate smart switches (I have over ten of them in my home), they told me it wasn't on their list of what they are adding and they wouldn't add it any time soon. They do not have working apps or community creators/coders to add Tuya devices, and even when they claim to have an "official" app like for SONOFF, it's very limited to a handful of devices and they refuse to assist in adding new devices when a customer makes a request. In addition, reaching directly out to Homey Pro is completely useless, they never reply. Sadly, they have taken advantage of sending their products to many social media influencers for review and received less that completely honest/educated reviews which clearly miss lead buyers like myself and the many more dozens who have taken their time to leave similar reviews/warnings.I have so many projects going on with my new home and life so I made the mistake of not opening and setting up the Homey Pro right away and by the time I realized I had been scammed, it was too late to return it :(.

Title: High Ticket, Big Disappointment
Review: I was very nervous on spending a lot on this smart home hub. After seeing screenshots of its UI, I needed to have it. I loved the graphs and reports on how and when devices reported, like seeing how temperature measures throughout the day. I loved the way the smart phone app looked. It seemed very user friendly. I was, however, extremely disappointed by the lack of automations that you can create. Processes that seemed so simple, were not existent. I have over 200 smart home devices, and had I transferred everything over, I would have lost half of my automations. Some of the devices I did transfer were missing features that my previous systems had. This may be a good for basic users who simply just use their phone to turn devices on and off. If you create a wide range of automations, I would steer far away, regardless of how simply and great the “flows” process looks. It is extremely limited and lackluster.

Title: Powerful but limited integrations
Review: I’ve been wanting to get a homey ever since I first saw it in 2019 but they were limited to EU. The homey pro allowed me to replace multiple hubs and gives me very nice advanced abilities with a nice ui without 100s of lines of yaml code like HA.That said the integration claims are way over exaggerated and there isn’t a strong marketplace yet for products that are primarily US based. This will just come with time and the system is open enough for companies and devs to easily expand it.I’m not sure I would recommend this to anyone who isn’t technically inclined. It’s kinda pricey but remember no subscription and all local. Companies like Arlo make their devices so cheap and handicap them without a subscription. Because they rely on network they are vulnerable to hacks, high network usage and useless without internet.Overall, nice device with lots of capabilities and potential for growth. I’ve scoured the internet for a device like this and this is pretty much it unless you love writing yaml and like bad uis.
