Title: We’ll built, but a minor design flaw
Review: Overall this mount is sturdy and well built. It will have no problems holding my spilt duct compressor unit. The issue is that the included lag screw heads are too large to fasten to the mounting bracket with a standard socket. The mounting bracket also doesn’t allow for the use of a washer either. I had to trek off to my local hardware store to purchase lag screw that could actually be tightened all the way with a socket. Would have given it a “5 star“ rating if it wasn’t for this minor design flaw.

Title: Terrible design
Review: Maybe this is because it’s designed somewhere else in the world I’m guessing France but in the US we use 16 inch centers for studs. This major is about 31 inches wide, which is too narrow to install into the stud. The horizontal piece is probably 16 gauge steel. It is so thin and flexible that if you were to mount it to the studs, the weight of the unit hanging on the down arms, would cause it to bend and collapse. Now, of course, the design of the down arms would be that you would mount those to studs, but because they are also not on 16 inch centers the best you can hope for is to mount them to one stud and the other one to a wall. They give you hangers to mount those down arms that are 3/8 of an inch but I do not know of a house in North America that has enough substantial material. The façade to be able to use these in any kind of manner to hold that weight

Title: Sturdy mount, but improper bolts
Review: Bought two of these HL-550 kits to mount two Senville mini-split systems. While the mounts seem very sturdy and have a nice enamel coating, the bolt hex heads to attach to the wall require a 17mm socket which does not fit in the bracket channel making it impossible to tighten the bolts down. Plus the included flat washers are too wide and will not seat in the bottom of the channel either. See attached photo. Both kits I purchased had the same problem.I contacted Senville customer support and they were nice enough to send me another full kit at no cost, but this third kit still had the same problem with the bolts, though the washers fit.I ended up going to Lowe's and buying comparable lag screws but with 15mm heads and different washers. Also, the smaller bolts they provide to mount the unit feet onto the L brackets are too short for my taste if you use the included plastic isolators - the acorn nuts could only grab about 2 or 3 threads which I was not comfortable with. So again, off to Lowe's to get my own substitute bolts. The Senville mini-split AC systems themselves are highly rated on Amazon (which is why I got them), but I'm a bit disappointed they don't seem to be aware that the matching mount kits they're selling are pretty much un-installable as sold. I hope to have a better experience with the actual units when they are hooked up.If you're willing to take the time and effort/expense to source your own bolts, the mounts are sturdy and look good but be prepared to improvise.

Review: As others have said the included hardware isn't really the best to use for mounting the unit to the brackets, as well the lag bold heads are too big hard to fit a socket around without it hitting on the bracket.also the holes in the bracket part that mounts on the wall are not ideal or studs. I just had to drill two holes in the bracket.

Review: Nice strong bracket, easy to install . Glad I read the reviews prior to ordering so I had lage bolts of the proper diameter to fit in the channel . Senville does most things well , but sending it out with useless oversized bolts .. SMH.
