Title: All your favorite dessert chefs in one place
Review: This cookbook is a dream. The recipes are approachable for cooks of all abilities. Both the bakeware required and the ingredients needed are common to most kitchens or can be purchased at a nearby big-box store. I made the pound cake recipe, I followed it exactly and it turned out perfect and delicious. The only chapter that I find somewhat overwhelming is the cake chapter. The layer cakes are extremely complicated, the Birthday Layer Cake has 18 steps and the Ultimate S’mores Cake has 15 steps. I like the cookie chapter the best. Im looking forward to making the Homemade Oreos, Chocolate Pecan Caramel Cookies, Mackles’mores (which are a marshmallow chocolate chip cookie sitting on a graham cracker), Chewy Brownies and Creamy Coconut Cheesecake with Dulce de Leche. The photography is lovely and there are photographs with every recipe. I would definitely gift this book to friends that love baking.

Title: Nice book, wish ingredients had extra information
Review: This book, as many have said, is very very beautiful. I just wish there were a little more information at the beginning for one thing:How they've measured their flour. Is it spooned & leveled? Scooped?I'm pretty happy all these recipes are in one spot and I'll get a lot of use out of it!That's the short reviewHere's the longer, nit picky review and I bring these things up because many of the recipes come from books that have these or are from bakeries that know them:There's no weights for anything. Many things are ok to weigh by volume (oats etc) but flour can be vastly different.Egg sizes go from "eggs, "large eggs" to "extra large eggs" so be prepared for thatFlour types aren't listed beyond "flour", "all purpose ", "bread flour", "cake flour " which is why this is the nit picky section lol. Most would just use whatever they had and say "get over it reviewer dang". Protein content between brands (gold medal flour vs king Arthur flour all purpose are different. Some bread flours have protein % same amount as KA AP), bleached/unbleached cake flours can have different results. The chances all the recipes would use the same brand or type of flour is slim so I understand leaving it outEdit July 8 2022:More nit picky things.Salt is listed as "salt" so I'm going to assume it's table salt and not kosher (be it diamond crystal or Morton)There's weird measurements like 7/8 a cup of sugar (specifically on pg 37 for the triple chocolate chip cookies & 3/5 cup of water for Dominique Ansel's croissants) which would all be rectified if they probably used the weights from the original recipeAlso for recipes I've made before from the original authors there's slight things that could alter it -not in a game breaking way just __different__. Tosi's birthday layer cake. She/they (milkbar) uses plugra or European style butter. It's listed as "butter" and the dreaded salt thing comes up. Morton is a lot saltier tasting than the diamond crystal tosi uses.Again these are all nit picks (hey reviewer get over it again lol honestly go bake a cookie sheesh) and don't alter the very well put together book. You'd be hard pressed to find so many good recipes from all over in one book but the weird measurements, no weights, no set flour measure, no salt type or brand are just a little frustrating but nothing you can't overcome but if you're looking for a 1:1 representation from the original authors recipe in one place this isn't it. It'll get you close and honestly sometimes that's all we really need!

Title: This book will keep me busy for a while
Review: So far I've made the Madelines and Croissants. This weekend I'm making peach scones. I will say for the croissants I used 2T SAF gold instant yeast instead of fresh and had to adjust liquid in the recipe but they came out great! Not for novices though. Haven't made any of the cookies yet but plan to. Also the babka - yum! If you love love love to bake (or just like looking at pretty baked goods) this is a great addition to your cookbook collection. Mine is fairly large.Update on the scones. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. However the recipe claims it makes 6 depending on size. I divided the resulting mix in half and froze along with half the topping before adding wet ingredients and still got 12 reg size scones. That’s 2 recipes that weren’t exactly correct but who really cares when the results taste this good. I’m just warning less experienced bakers that adjustments may be needed.

Title: Even Non-Bakers Want This Book
Review: I am not much of a baker, and I will admit I bought this for the pretty pictures. Yes, the photos are lovely, but the clever intros and recipes are written in such a way that even a non-baker like me feels like I can try them. Sure, it may be my own version of "Nailed It," but the flavors are so good, even if my first try looks bad it's still delicious. Yes, I have tried this. No, I didn't Instagram the goodie but I did EAT IT ALL. I can't wait to try all the recipes and even picked up a Madeline pan. Get this book, for inspiration, motivation and overall deliciousness.

Title: Kids are enjoying it so far
Review: I happened to see a friend post about this book on social media and thought that it might be a fun "adventure" for the kids (12M and 12F) and I to try creating some delicious recipes as well as to appreciate the time and effort bakers put into their craft. The first recipe we tried, the Strawberry hand pies, were amazing! I've never loved pie crust, but after trying this recipes pie crust, I have officially been converted! Some of the recipes are complicated, like the croissants that we are currently trying to make, but we know the end result will be worth it.

Title: Buy this book, even if you're not going to bake!
Review: I strongly dislike when people write reviews of cookbooks without even having cooked anything from the cookbook, but the pictures in this book are so beautiful and the blurbs before every recipe are so freaking entertaining, that's reason alone to buy this book! I find myself just sitting and looking through this book and getting such a kick out of the writing and drooly from the pictures. I will update my review after I bake a recipe or two from here, which I'm sure I will soon 🙂

Title: Wide variety of old and new recipes!
Review: There are many out of the ordinary desserts I see on TV or have at friends homes that I want to make myself. This book has those bakery items in, and also all the ones you didn’t even know you wanted in it! Fun and easy to read and understand. Cool title, too!

Title:
Review: This is a very appealing book with a stunning cover and very tempting recipes of varying difficulty, from simple to challenging. Every recipe features a gorgeous photo and I want to try most of the recipes, which is rare for me. However it is a thin book without any tips, tricks or information on techniques, just recipes, so I'm really glad I got it at 80% off. I would have felt a little shortchanged had I paid full price.

Review: It's the title that got my attention. It's fun to read the baker's comments, prior to their recipe. One talks about the kids fighting, hence wants to leave town because of it, alas, decides to bake with sprinkles instead. Not long after he/she realizes that the 'sprinkles help melt stress away'. All bakers, are real people too.
