Title: Excellent, high quality, must-have family game
Review: I bought it for my 10-year-old's birthday. He doesn't like many games, and loses interest easily, but he and my 14-year-old frequently request to play The World Game. I love playing, I love learning, sometimes embarrassing myself, sometimes showing off, but mostly seeing my kids shine. Based on the price and pictures, I was worried about how the quality wold be. (It was half the price of other board games I've purchased with the same quality materials.) It's well thought out, very well made with a high-quality board, cards, and wooden meeples. There is enough strategy that the most knowledgeable player doesn't always win, but it definitely incentivizes learning and makes geography fun. We play a couple times each weekend. I would love an expansion set with landforms and bodies of water or other major cities. My boys would prefer if the map was a bit more precise, without the softened boarders. The only thing I dislike about this game is that it will get outdated. I wish I could buy a subscription to get updates each year. This isn't an ideal game for someone who hates geography, but it's a must have for every family who enjoys learning and geography even a little.

Review: Great game. Easy to learn. Could likely play all day for days and still be learning new facts. I feel that it’s a bit overwhelming. But my 10 year old loves it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Review: If you are hoping to buy this because your kids will always want to play it.. well you will be disappointed. It’s a learning game although doesn’t require you to know anything either. It has a lot of guessing instead of needing to know which makes the game a fun game of chance.For instance everyone draws a country card and the person whose turn it is, can guess which category they think their country has the greatest amount. Or you can challenge and the person to their left says their country and we (not the rules) just have to guess the continent it’s on.So it is easy and simple. 9 and 11 year old kids here.

Review: We are happy with this purchase. We bought it for our 5 years old son and started from learning continents with him, and now we learn the countries. Sometimes we play it during family reunions, it's fun and informative. The quality of materials is also very good.
