Title: November Christmas
Review: This profound tale of a young girl who is in the throes of a terminal illness, is so sweetly and realistically written that I couldn't stop watching in spite of the sadness and grief I felt along with the family who so desperately loves and strives with all their might to keep her alive and living life as fully as is possibly... given the dire situation.I am not one to thrive on "tear jerking" movies, especially at the time of year when I want to be spreading good cheer. I settle in with a bowl of popcorn and watch holiday movies non-stop through the whole month of December..loving the comedies so much more than the ones filled with tears and loss..even a happy ending doesn't usually overcome the pall of getting there..I related so well to this family and felt every pain and helpless feeling alongside them..even to the little brother who really isn't sure what is happening. The wonderful older neighbors who have suffered their own loss long ago, came to the rescue and with great tact and strength, lent themselves gladly and unselfishly to help give this little girl her last, best Christmas in November, knowing she would not be there to see it on the actual date.I thought this movie was well worth the tears I shed as I watched and felt and cheered with the characters..and with the young, beautiful woman who began the tale reading a book she had written to the rapt audience of children gathered at her feet.We are transported into the story book and see the events happening as they occurred..the end was perfect even as I held my breath and expected the worst..we were given only the best.There is no way you could be disappointed in this wonderful movie..gather around your family or by yourself..you will love it..if you are a lover of the season..I promise~

Review: If you like/love old Sam Elliot...this is the movie for you.If you like to cry off and on during the movie... this is the movie for you.If you like holiday flicks, (timely or other-wise), this is the movie for you.If you like cute little girls who are dying through-out the movie... this is the movie for you.If you like very good acting, pacing, sound-track, filming, scenary, etc... this is the movie for you.If you like/love old Sam Elliot...(did I already ask that?), this is the movie for you.I could go on and on......... This was/is a super movie. I watch it so often, I think I'll wear it out.My wife even likes it and she seldom sniffs, let alone crys, during a movie.For plot... give the kid a holiday/days before it is too late. The parents share a similar situation with Sam and his wife.... Oh, heck, watch this thing!!!! It is one of the one or two best movies like it...even better than, "The Ultimate Gift"! Sorry Mr. Garner!)

Review: Perhaps my note to a friend inside a greeting card that accompanied this gift says it all. November Christmas is a magical story about the strength and heart of the human spirit, even if the body is ailing. Some heartwarming scenes show the kindness of neighbors and how God’s love and beauty wraps around us in the most unexpected places. This movie also happens to star my most enduring man crush, Sam Elliott, in a very unusual role for him. All the actors did a great job. I seldom get to the movies these days but this very enchanting film found me. I love the musical score and sound track too.

Review: I don’t buy every movie I kind of like I only buy movies that I want to be sure that I can see it again and whenever I want. You will need your Kleenex box close by but there is a message at the end which is a pleasant surprise.

Review: An enchanting if heartbreaking family story. A well chosen cast who incidentally, all give warm heartfelt character portrayals - truly superb. It would be impossible to imagine any other actors so well suited to such emotionally charged roles. Sam Elliott and Karen Allen especially, convey such a wonderful depth of feeling into their characters - at times you feel you're intruding into someone's personal grief... Of the many excellent Christmas movies we've enjoyed this wins the highest accolade possible - our warmest heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in it's production.
