Product Description
Looking for fast-paced fun for your friends and family? That's Anomia!
Have you ever thought about the fact that our minds are positively brimming with all sorts of random information? Things to eat, pop songs, websites, etc... Normally, it’s easy to give an example of a frozen food or a dog breed; but you’ll find that your brain works a little differently under pressure!
Fast-Moving and Hilarious!
Anomia will have everyone roaring with laughter as they try to beat each other to the punch!
Anomia is simple. Players flip cards until the symbols on two players cards match. Matching players race to give an example of the category on their opponents card. Sounds easy, right? Think again. Wild Cards create unexpected matches and the simple act of losing a card can set off a chain of cascading face-offs! Pay attention, it could be your turn at any time!

Title: Easy to learn that welds a group together with laughter
Review: This is the "travel edition" of a larger board game...and a perfect size for taking to a group gathering. It is easy to learn; instructions are in the box and also on you tube. The joy is the quick pace and the addition of the wild cards and "cascading" add surprises just when it seems the game is being conquered. The only draw back is that the two decks are good for a couple times; the addition of the other decks included in the board game will be helpful if using this during a week at the beach. This is suitable for teens through senior adults. It may be frustrating for younger kids since it draws on vocabulary, experience and memory. It is an easy, fun pick-up game that brings groups together through laughter.

Title: Very fun and a great gift
Review: I bought this as a present for my boyfriend's parents and we had a great time playing it! I play this with my own family, as we're big card game players â always looking for the new, best thing. We love this game and it can be picked up very quickly. What was great about it as a present meeting my bf's family for the first time is that it can be a very clean-fun game, and you can get taboo, risky, and inappropriate with your answers. We started out the former and ended the latter. A great bonding experience!I'll caution that it can cause fights like when my mom flips the card too slow >:( My boyfriend also condemned his mother for the same thing hahaha.I recommend this product.

Title: Anomia is a Classroom Favorite!
Review: The following review was written by Lauren, one of my fourth grade students. Anomia is a game that can be played up to six people. It is a quick talking game that goes pretty fast. Directions:Each player starts out with one card, put the rest of the cards in the middle in two piles. Each player also takes turns drawing cards from either pile in the middle until someone has the same shape on another players card. If you draw a card that has two shapes on it, it's called a wild card. Even if the two symbols don't match, they have to face-off just like any card. Well when you face-off, you look at your rivals card, and say something that goes in the subject of what the card said. If you say a word that fits in the subject before the other player does, you take their card and put it in a another pile next to your pile. Keep your eyes peeled there might be another match! when the deck runs out count your treasure cards and the person with the most wins! if two players yell out a word at the same time, you draw another card from the two piles and see who gets that one first. If there is another tie, keep doing that until one player gets the card first. This game is a fun game that our class has from our game closet. It is so fun, some people fight over who gets it first. It is also a fun game that you can play with your family, friends, or children. I would highly recommend this game for you, your family, and your friends.Pros: Quick play, lots of fun, blue cards are easy, red is hard.Cons: lots of arguments, cards rip or tear easily, the box can also rip or tear easily.

Title: ANOMIA is my new favorite game
Review: Let me start out my review by saying, when this package first arrived, I was shocked at how little the box for this game was. For some reason I was thinking there would be more parts to it, but it's literally just the card box...that being said who knew that great things ACTUALLY do come in small packages!?Directions/Ease of Play: I didn't try to figure out how to play this until I tried to play it with all my party guests, but it was still very easy to figure out, thanks to the very helpful set-up diagram included in the instructions. It took us (about 5 people) less than 10 minutes to figure out. Another individual joined in after all the fun they saw us having and had no problems with game play. Honestly, I would suggest you go over/figure out the instructions as a group -- at first it appears confusing, but it's not once the game get rolling (as is with most games).Players: This is a good game for people who like to play games. I wouldn't recommend it for a 1st grader, but my son (a 4th grader) played it with us adults and enjoyed himself. Third grade is where I would probably keep the minimum at, however this game is very suited for anyone beyond that. Bear in mind, you have to pay attention in this game; if you have "those players" that like to "play games" but don't pay attention, they may lose interest.Length: The instructions give an end point...but we always get to the point where we have to bump it up. You can have a good game with 30 mins to an hour, but you can expand that if willing.Best thing about this game: It's totally reusable for all of your parties/game nights, because you never know which combinations will arise. I'm very happy to say I spent less than 15 bucks on a game I can use a 1000 times.Worst thing about this game: As the instructions indicate, you can really only have between 3-6 players for it to be fun. I wouldn't say that's the "worst" thing about this game since it's so fun, but you could see why it would start to be a bad game if more than 6 people play. Do not bust this game out if you want to entertain 10 people.tl;dr: This game is awesome just buy it.

Review: Easy to get, down, minimal set up, heaps of fun and laughs. The only problem is that if you play it often you start to memorize the cards as it only has 2 sets of cards. But for a filler for 16 aud that you can play with any one once in a while is perfect
