Title: Good, safe heat but lack of directionality impacts comfort
Review: My furnace was right at its EOL and decided to die during a week with subzero temperatures. I wanted a heater that that was safe and I could run with minimal concern, while also providing good heat.This heater checks those boxes. It's safe and generates a decent amount of heat. I had it running on the highest setting for 3 days and after an initial break-in period of creaks and smells, it ran fine. Kept the room warm and the pipes from freezing. Another huge plus is that it is completely silent.That said, since there is no fan, the heat is strictly radiant. That's good for well insulated rooms and for non-directional heat, but it can be problematic if you have a specific location or direction that you want heated. It also takes a while to start producing heat (as well as cooling down), so you won't have instant heat available like you might get from a ceramic heater. Still, that's the point of a heater like this, so it really doesn't affect the rating, more of just a head's up with what to expect.It loses a star because while it does have a cool handle, the touch screen interface does get hot. So either use the remote or you'll have to tap the touch interface quickly.

Review: I would order this product again. It has kept us nice and warm with the even heat that comes with this type of heater. I like the remote control feature. Used this through most of winter (and longer because it’s June and we’ve just been able to turn it off!!!!)

Title: NEVER TURNED OFF
Review: I bought this heater for my bird and I intended to only run it for 1 hour a day.At night i set the timer for 1 hour and go to bed. The heater has worked as intended for the first 4 days.On the 5th night. It NEVER TURNED OFF. I woke up to my bird panting in his room with 105 degrees. The timer STILL SAYS 1hr on it.Garbage, literally a saftey hazard.
